I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hi there, i went to hos with hunter today talked to the doc and also a woman whos baby boy had his op yesterday, he was on fluids drinking dirolite not alowed baby milk at all he had an epidural in and fluids goin in his vains he was a bit craby cos he wanted his milk and he was pooing bits anyways his op took 4 hours and his was only about 4 cm up so his mom said,i talked to hunters doc and he recons hunters may only be same but he wont know for sure till he does it, hel be having general anasthetic,i asked about probs after op and he said yer diorea and bad nappy rash,also i asked about future and he said he cant say how hunter will be cos all are diff but that he could tell me about others with hursprungs and he said he had a lad in hos 2 weeks ago with bad encolotisis and that he nearly died,i think u spell it that way anyways its a bowel infection we have to watch out for all there lifes and its real bad if ourboys get it, also he said some soil there pants even teenagers could sudenly start to do it after years of not doing it also constipation in the end not all are the same sum worse than others and some have no probs at all but he cant say we have to see how hunter goes and deal with a prob when it arises he said,so i said to the doc so what ur saying is that after his op it dont mean he dont have hursprungs desese anymore hel always have it he said yer like even thoe my other son tommy was born with bladder extrophy and had it put back hes still said to have it as its a life long prob cos hes always having other probs and corective surgery and on going hos apointments and things i said ok so hunters always goint to be coming to hos for check ups and stuff cos of this and he said yeer, he also said that he may need to have anal dilation cos of narrowing after op caused by scaring after being stitched up and stuf any ways theres probs and thers may be no probs wel just have to see how things go when they have the op and they are growing up i hope both ur boy and mine are fine after and are one of the lucky ones who have no probs, let me know how his op goes and il let u know how hunters goes.

hi hunter is fine and hes been doin little poos on his own to,the hospital here isnt telling us very much my husband takes him on a weekend to be flushed but no doc ever comes down to the ward to see him,he got to speak to a registra last week but didnt get much out of him,all we know is that he goes in on monday and has op on tuesday all being well,im real worried about it now poor little thing hes so small and having an op,i know from my other son how hard it is hes been having ops since day he was born but he was like 10 pounds at birth alot biger thqan hunter is,my husband said he was talking to a woman at hos on sunday her son has more flushes a day than ours and he has his op on friday hes so poorly with it so im thinking maybe hunters not got it so bad,plus hes done a few poos himself,its not alot but its still a poo,he does have probs with alot of wind hes always trumping poor thing i read on a site for h d that theyl have a very saw bum after op and real bad nappy rash for a wile so im dreding that part if its true i feel so sorry for him,but il be just glad he dont have to be flushed out anymore,i also read that hel always need to have more fluids all his life cos of the missing bowel hes having to have cut out i want to ask the doc loads of questions but i end up never being able to go with my husband with all my kids im finding it hard as they are all off school with our summer holidays,im determind to go this weekend thoe find out as much as i can,anyways hunter is puting weight on real good so im pleased about that,i hope everything goes well for little joseph and let me know how it all goes, as for me staying at hos they havnt said anything about it i think cos we dont live far we wont have to but maybe if they ask my husband will stay with him, did the hos tell u how long hel be in for after op let me know,also if u like cos we have a baby with same probs u can have my msn and email address just a thought

I will keep the lil guy in my prayers as I am sure things will be just fine!!! Poor girls! They think they are just lil dolls ya know? Mine thinks no one will play with her. But boy I think she will perk up when they get here!!
