me 2 weeks after freddie arrived

today freddie is 2 weeks and 4 days old ..he was due yesterday the 28th may, on his due date he weighed 8lb 1/2 an ounce, is 50.5 cms long, and head circum of 37 cms..he is so good and sleeps well, i have decided to breast and bottle feed, but having trouble with cracked nipples, so im expressing his milk for now untill i feel better..he takes milk fine from a bottle so its no bother...so glad hes being a good boy, having 5 kids he has no choice but to fit in..bless him i love him so much.....and i just want to snuggle him all the time..

i had contractions from midnight sat... 10th may ... throught till about 8 am when it all stopped....i went to the hospital at 9 thinking they would examine me to see if i had dilated over night, but she said as i was no longer in labour there was no point....so i went home again... i sent my mum home who had been looking after the other kids... spent the next few hours with no contraction just a bit of pressure and the normal braxton hicks..
the kids were bored so me and roo took them to the park, dog came too ! i was walking the dog around while roo was pushing alfie on the swing when i thought i could feel something down below falling out...like a little bubble, so in a panic i saidi was going to take the dog back home and check out what i ahd just found...i told roo to stay at the park seeing as we had only been there a matter of minutes, and that i would be fine on my own....
i got home and had a check of the bubble which by this time had turned the size of an egg...and paniced again thinking what the hell is that....so i called the birthing centre and told them i had something falling out the size of an egg and didnt know what it was.... she told me to get on all fours and stay there untill she had called a midwife and an ambulance..?? i was like why what for???...then im thinking oh god roos at the park with the kids and im going to be carted off and he wont know where i am....( his phone was at home ) anyway she told me that the midwife would explain all when she arrived...but just not to move untill she got there..
but i had to move i had to get roo home and i had a plan, so i walked out the back of the house and into the parking area where i shouted to a friend of mine who was having a bbq with about 20 other people in our street and asked her to run up to the park and grab him.....
when he got back the midwife was here and the ambulance....they said that they thought it was my waters hanging down...but as i had got into the hands and knees position...they had gone back up and baby had aswell....but so far up they could feel his head....she said .." have you any pains" ????? i said no nothing at all...and she replied " well your 10 CMS DILATED and i was like...WHAT ??????? fully dilated but in no pain with nothing but braxton hicks...
she then explained that baby had gone right back up, and the waters would fall back down when i stood up again...and as baby was so high there was a very strong possibility that the babys cord would be below him floating in the water and if my waters were to break he would cut the supply to the cord and kill himself on his way out into the world.....
hence the ambulance........!!! im not in a real panic !!!
we get to the hospital.....and i am still in no pain....waters still intact.....and they call in the registrar who checks to see if he can feeel babies cord but he cant, so he scans me and finds it to be ok....baby is under the cord so he is safe....
the midwife puts her hand on my tummy when i tell her that im having braxton hicks contractions...and she looks at me in amazment saying that its a full blown contraction but i just cant feel it??????? anyway my waters broke and from then on the pains started coming and in a short time he made his way into the world..... at 4.02 pm on the 11th may....weighing 6lb 14 oz........freddie george cummings

i thought i would give you a half way update to my page......

well i am now 22 weeks pregnant and feeling great now i have had my scan and found all to be well with my little boy...i wasnt suprised to see it was a boy on the screen i have thought all along that it would be blue...he is a little fidget and often gets hickups which is cool, i am showing for sure now and have got my maternity jeans which are fab and soooooo comfy..couldnt live without them !!

i am having a 4d scan on the 1st march so will let you know what its like and i will update the pictures then ok

i am going to a birthing centre near me to have him so cant have any pain relief but i havent with any of them so far so not to worried...the birthing centre is beautiful and you get the best of care in there so i know im in the right place..

anyway now we are getting into the pregnancya bit further i will update weekly i think, i didnt think it was worth it up till now...anyway roll on another week 23 isnt far now ha ha

week 24.....hello well today is day one in week 24, and im feeling him moving a lot now, hickups is a frequent thing and its sooo funny..im now looking very preggers and feeling good apart from the heartburn..but eh !

week 25....

things still going well, he is moving so much now and i can watch my tummy move its sooooo funny.. i had my app at the hospital and all was fine the heart beat was strong and my blood pressure was normal... back for another check up in 3 weeks.. my heartburn is still horrid yet im not having to sleep sitting up yet but im sure it will come..for now im enjoying sleeping laying down ha ha...nothing much to report this week as yet....i have got my pram and its gorg its the jane slalom pro,,, talk about take the baby out in style !!! ha ha ha ha

week 31

god i feel huge and uncomfortable...i cant sleep.... i cant eat without getting indegestion...i feel lousy i hope its gets better soon......but my little one is fine and moving loads and loads, i think he likes it when im in the bath which is the only place i feel comfy... coz he wriggles and makes my tummy all funny shapes.....funny to watch..lol

anyway im hoping next week i will feel more refreshed and comfortable....yet im sure its only going to get worse from here on in... lets hope he comes early like my last 3 have....then maybe i only have 6 weeks to go.....heres hoping eh !!!

week 34

i am now 34 weeks and 2 days..... feeling ok just a bit on the large side... my heartburn is still making me feel sick and sleeping is a bit of a nightmare but generally i feel pretty good...hoping that my count down to the 37 week period has begun...and maybe under 3 weeks to go.....but we'll see eh!!

week 36

i am now 36 weeks and 1 day... had my midwife app last night and she said.. god your low !! i replied..tell me about it, i can feel so much movement in my pelvic area like his head is banging again and again on my bones... then i have little legs sticking out my right hand side...at the same time his bum is sticking right out at the top of my tummy...about to bust is how i feel.........but on the plus side she said he wasnt a monster baby like my last one, she said he was on the smaller side, so i hope he doesnt put on to much weight between now and the birth...i havent had much sleep, the last 6 nights i have slept downstairs and spent most of it watching tv, and munching away as im so hungry...the heartburn is still a prob, and cramp...omg it makes me jump around like a mad woman..anyway im hoping that my final week has begun, i am safe to go to my birthing centre as from wed next week so im now on my 6 day count down....but i bet hes lazy and stays put.???????? hope not... i want a cuddle ha ha !!
