pregnancy calendar

This is my first pregnancy.

Friday 18th January

tonight i took a home pregnancy test and it was positive. I can not believe it.

Wednesday 23rd January

Tests came back from the Doctor they too confirm that i am pregnant. today is my husbands 30th Birthday. First appointment with Midwife scheduled for the 12th February.

30th January

i started spotting today. i am very worried so i went to A&E and they send me to pre natal for a scan. too early to detect a heartbeat but everything looks ok. they confirm that i am 6 weeks pregnant.

17th February

I cant believe i am 9 weeks tommorrow. I still have not had any morning sickness. I hope this is ok. i think i am starting to get a little bump. I have another scan scheduled for tommorrow. This will be the first time my Husband will be with me for a scan, so i hope we will be able to see and hear the heartbeat.

18th February

I had my scan today. Adrian came with me. thankfully i only needed an abdominal scan. I got to hear the heartbeat. It was amazing! i think my hubby was very surprised. the Doctor measure the baby at 8 week and 1 day, which is nearly a week less than i thought. my next appointment for another scan isnt until the 7th April. i still have no morning sickness, but am extremely tired. hopefully everything will continue to be ok.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I would go to the hospital if I were you! I had the same pinky stuff and it turned out to be amniotic fluid! I think your water broke!

Its ok to take sudafed, benadryl, and tylenol while pregnant.. just make sure they are regular strength and to take the minimum dosage to start.

Hey :) Just read your comment about red raspberry leaf tea.... My midwife has had me on it since 35 weeks. It helps tone your uterus so that when you do finally start having contractions, they are more effective, therefore hopefully decreasing the length of your labour. It also increases braxton hicks, so can help to start to dilate you before labour begins. Hope this helps :)
