How are you?? How are you feeling?? I go to my midwife next Tues for my 16 th week appt. Ive been really crampy on and off and that makes me nervous, but I guess it's growing pains. Almost time for the big ultrasound about 4 more weeks!

I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Hiya, glad you had a good holiday, we got back from holiday the same day as you-we went to devon cliffs for a week-stayed in a static caravan-it was a haven holiday, jacob was in play heaven-he loved it-weather was ok for us!
We go on holiday again on in about 4 weeks, and my scan is just before i go, i will be 19 weeks then-and cant wait to find out the sex-shame you gotta wait till july!!
How you feeling anyway? are you glowing yet or not?xx

Well even though my due date is Nov 20th I 'll probably have the baby early. My history is to have my babies about 2-3 weeks early. Oct 24th seems like a nice date and it would fit because my bday is 8/24, my sons bday is 9/24 and my daughters bday is 11/24. Too weird!

yes, Im sure its the baby even though my midwife thinks its too early. We are due on the same day. When was your lmp? My Nov 20th due date is based on my ultrasound but my last period was 2/5/08,which would make me 16 weeks this Tuesday,so its confusing to me. Anyhow, Im sure that was the day of my lmp because I mark it on my calander. Well anyway at least Im in the second trimester now and soon we will find out the sex of the baby and that is exciting.

Ive been feeling movement for about 2 weeks now. I cant really explain the feeling( maybe a wavelike feeling like the baby is flipping) but it is not gas because I feel it throughout the day everyday in my lower pelvic area!

I thought it was just me with the itchiness. I have itchy arms and legs in the evenings.
