Hi there! Congratulations to all you mommies to be! My husband and I are so excited about being pregnant. This will be our first. Though I am very nervous since I had a miscarriage August 10th of this year. I seem to be worrying about everything! However, this time, my symptoms are much different than last time, so I'm hoping and praying that is a good thing. My next doctor's appointment is on December 3rd, which feels like an eternity away. I think once I hear the heartbeat, I'll feel a little better about everything!

December 3, 2007

So, the day has finally arrived for our 1st prenatal appointment. After an exam and an ultrasound, the doctor said that everything looks great! Plus, we were able to finally see the baby in the sac...hooray! He also saw a heartbeat, but we didn't hear it. I guess he said we'll hear it at the 12 week appointment. At any rate, I am breathing a sigh of relief for now, and I am so excited! It finally is feeling real!!!

So it looks like we're going right on through our due date. I'm kinda okay with it since today is my anniversary and now I don't have to share that, but I'm so ready for baby. Maybe tomorrow! Any signs for you? I go to the Dr tomorrow am and we'll see where i'm at. A week and 1/2 ago I was only 1 cm, so I hope I'm more! Good luck to you!

I've been feeling crampy for a while, and today a bunch of times I had to stop walking at work as there was a shooting pain in my pelvis, worse than just cramps. So we'll see. I did have a fortune cookie on Monday that had 16 listed as my lucky number twice, so we'll see. Good luck!

I'm doing okay. Definitely running low on patience. I'm due on Thursday and am ready any day now. My dr. got called out of the office last night so I don't really know if I'm progressing or not. A little disappointing, but I'll live. My next appt with her is next Monday unless I go into labor sooner. I'm still working, was hoping that I would have had the baby by now and would be off, but no such luck. How are you doing? Any good signs? I hope so! Let me know!

I am so feeling the same way as you. my due date is this Sunday and NOTHING.....had dr's apt today and all i got was a see you next week...I just want the baby to come on his own and I feel like nothing is happening, like he can stay in there forever....Did I mention he's already almost 9 lbs? What is he waiting for?? grrrrrr getting impatient!! Well i hope yours comes quickly.....They have to come eventually right? LOL

oh and I wanted to add that it feels like you tummy goes into a tight ball. It's different with everbody but I lose my breath at times and have a hard time concentrating on basic things when I have a contraction.

Luckily I have this week off from work, so if I need a nap it should be okay. I'm ready too. But cleary my little one (we don't know what we're having) has different plans. How have you been tolerating the MI humidity we've had the past few weeks? Yesterday was such a relief where I'm at, and today is about the same, so I'm loving it. We're going about 3 hours north tomorrow through Sunday so I'm hoping to aviod some of the heat that way too, and it will give me something to do besides sit at home and wish for contractions, cramping, mucous plug...anything at the point! don't worry about the weight gain. I've gained so far approx 35 pounds...my doc said she's not too concerned but I should exercise more...I walk almost every day for 45minutes...still I'm putting on weight. As long as you and your baby are healthy... the weight would come off...

I hear ya on craving fruit. That's all I want, strawberries, cherries, pears and peaches lol ... I started out on apples, moved to oranges, ultimately ruined canteloupe for myself (morning sickness and canteloupe don't mix, in case you're wondering).... all that and I've still gained 40 pounds myself ... My doctor's never really said anything major about it though, except for one REALLY bad month where I gained just an absurd amount of weight ... and the stretch marks ... yeah, when I saw em I pretty much cried. Such a weird spot!

hey. good to know i am not the only one. i have stretch marks on my inner thighs too and they suddenly crept up one fine morning. i do have stretch marks on my belly as well. but not much. as yet if i should add that. i havent a clue what to do. i have very religiously been applying my creams. well, whatever, i cant belive i am not gonna be able to wear mini's without worrying about them showing ever again.

I have gained about the same. I try not to worry because I know that I will lose it after the baby is born. So many girls I know have lost more weight than their pre-pregnancy weight and look fantastic.
Our babies will have a little extra weight but that's cute, the chubbier the better!

As far as names goes...it's really hard. I had a girl name but now that my lil one is a boy I can't come up with a name that my boyfriend and I agree on. Too Funny!!!

Find out yesterday that IT's A BOY!!!! The doc didn't say anything about the weight as since my last visit I have gained 4lbs.

I am in the same boat with the weight gain. I am going to find out the sex of S/HIM tomorrow but I know I have only gained about 4-5lbs. They say everyone is different in gaining so hopefully all is ok. I will see tomorrow.
