Hey, My name is Amanda. Me and my partner are expecting our third child in september!! i can't wait. I have been suffering really bad morning sickness this time around, which i didn't get half as bad with my girls. Congratulations to all the soon to be mummy's and good luck with your pregnancys!!

Jeremy and i have been together 7 years on May the 16th 2008. We already have two beautiful girls, Vanessa(5) and Erin(20months). When we tried to concieve Vanessa, everything went great! I fell pregnant two weeks after going off the pill. She was born by c-section two weeks early on Nov 15, 2002.

When we tried for our second i fell pregnant easily, but m/c between 5-6 weeks, which was upsetting. Obviously something wasn't right. It would have been born at christmas 04. When we feel pregnant a few months later, i m/c again between 5-6 weeks, and the baby would have been born in July 05.

I went to the doctor to have some blood tests done, i found out that i had pcos which was awful. My doctor told me that we might not have any more children!! I went home to my mums and cried!!

Luckily i fell pregnant in September 05 and I had Erin by c-section in June 06!! When i was early into the pregnany i had a few scans to make sure a baby was growing inside. My doctor told me that if i felt any pains, i had to sit or lie down and rest. We were very lucky to have her!! She has such a beautiful personality.

I am currently pregnant with our third and i'm about 9w3 days. We just hope that it holds on, and grows strong. It is possible to have children with pcos.We wern't even trying for this one!! We look forward to meeting our baby in September.

I have my first ultrasound on the 5th of March..... I can't wait! I just hope to see something inside. Fingers crossed!!

17th March 08

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! ST PATRICKS DAY. I'M CURRENTLY 11 WKS 5 DAYS WITH NUMBER 3.

HAD MY FIRST U/S ON MARCH 5TH. BABY WAS FINE AND THE HEART BEAT WAS 164. MY MORNING SICKNESS HAS ALMOST GONE, BUT I'M STILL FEELING TIRED. MY ELDEST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE BABY TO ARRIVE. I AM STILL SHOCKED ABOUT THE PREGNANCY, BUT VERY EXCITED.

JUST PROVES THAT WITH PSOC YOU CAN STILL HAVE A FAMILY. ALL MY BABIES WERE NATURAL CONCEPTION.

IT JUST AMAZES ME EVERY DAY!!

25th MARCH 08

Well i have made it past 12weeks. I'll be 13wks on thursday. My morning sickness is gone, but i am sneezing all the time. We are almost at the start of the dry season here in Darwin. Gonna miss the rain!! Glad to pregnant through the dry rather than the build up with the humidity.

Baby seems to be going ok. My next doctors app. isn't till the 30th of april. I'll be one day off 19 weeks!!!! That means 8wks without seeing a doctor. Luckily i have an u/s next week on wed 2nd April for Nuchal toc. I haven't heard the heart beat yet. It was a 164 last u/s, so it will be interesting to see what it is this time round. Can't wait to see bubs again!

17th APRIL 08

Well i had my ultrasound on the 2nd of April and the baby is doing really well. The only problem was the baby was curled up and asleep, so the u/s tech had problems trying to take pictures of the baby's skin at the back of the neck for the Nuchal toc screening. Poor lady. She had left the room three times to find out if the pictures were ok. Finally the head tech came in and managed to get one good photo of bubs before it turned again!!

It's heart beat was 143bpm, which is alot lower than my other scans. It's got my partner wondering if it is a boy??? Hmm... Have to wait and see!! I'm just hoping that at my 19 week scan, the baby is active!! I don't see my doctor for another 2 weeks, which i'm hanging out for. I still haven't heard the babys heart beat.... but i know it's alive because i have been feeling movement for about 2 and a half weeks. This is my third though.

30th APRIL 08

Well i finally get to see my doctor today for the first time in 8 weeks! I'm looking forward to it. It's at the Royal Darwin Hospital. I forgot that i had a dentist appointment today awell.

Just got back from the dentist and i had my tooth pulled... ouch!! it was split so now i have to go to the hospital with gause in my mouth. It a 2 hour appointment at the hospital and i know they are going to ask me alot of questions and my mouth is sore. Atleast i won't have my kids with me which is a little easier! i'll let you know how i go!

Thanks for the tips. We give her a bath every day, it makes us feel better so she has less chance of getting an infection. I can't imagine potty training. I bet it's worse! I cried potty training my boys, that is the hardest thing to do!!

hey how r u? everything is going well.. i have my ultrasound today actually.. and i am nervous as hell.. sounds silly.. i should be excited lol.. but so much can be wrong or right.. i never know what to think!! We arent going to find out the sex we want the surprise even tho the thought of being able to find out is soooo tempting... lol.. but yeh as u can tell me head is all over the place at the moment.. i hope everything is going great for you!!

Thank you sooo much!!! How have you been feeling? Recovery is going alot better since staples were removed Tuesday... hubs grandmother came and helped with babies and house cleaning...she left this morning and some of the reason I haven't been online in a few days. So far everything is going amazing, Caitlin is still getting used to it but warming up to Kimee lol!!!

Hi there... going well here... we had our scan on monday and decided to find out. Jase didn't have his hopes up, just was sure he was right. HE caved at the last minute on finding out but keeping it a secret for now until we've told family incase they go to this site LOL
I feel bub off and on now.. more flicks than flutters which is nice and reassuring. How about you??

Hi it has helped thank you, Its nice to talk to people who have been through a c-section before,all advice has helped ive only really read 2 messages about sections that weren't too good but ive also been told that if its planned its much better.
Im nervous about my appointment but am glad to be seeing someone soon so i can hopefully put my mind at ease,

Hi Amanda, My daughter was born after an induction and it took 43 hrs in total, i was dialating very slowly and my waters were too high to break, so i had to wait for my epidural as i had to be 5cm to have it though had to have it because of high blood pressure, It was very very painfull and examinations were a killer, i had gas and air and thet helped a bit, she opened her bowls inside me and was stage 2 stage 3 was the worst, i was eventually given an epidural and then she got stuck when i reached 10cm and was then pushing for over an hour until they got help and i was told i should have had a section but as she was so far down now they would cut me and use forcepts,
so back on the epidural and gas and air, and fe tugs she was born, she was cleared of meconium and was ok and i went into shock and couldnt hold her for ages, They lost swabs inside me and took another hour to find them all and then they stitched me up wrongly so i was in alot of pain down below,Took me 2 weeks to be able to walk properly, let alone sit down normally,

Read your question about the c section date. I am scheduled to have one and they usually do it one week early, I cant see why your dr would have a problem doing it a week and a half early seems completely reasonable to me. Explain your plight to the doctor if hes any kind of dr at all he will want u to have as much support and time with help as you can. My husband is military and we recently moved 700 miles away from my family so I am very much in the same boat! I hope your doctor is cooperative. Good luck!

awww well that is sweet that your hubby wants another girl. Mine was so upset when I said no boy..lol but he is better about it now. I hope you get your boy though. Hi, thanks for your comments about my son. Very sweet. Also, I'm glad your c-section experience was good. I swear, I knew in my heart that I'd end up needing a c-section, and I'd get so pissed off when I'd see all the negetivity on this site about a c-section. Ok yah, apparently the recovery time is supposed to be longer, but for crying out loud, this is an operation that they've been doing since the 50s. The way people were talking about it, you'd think it was an experimental surgery or something. Anyway, I guess I'm just venting. Hope you are well, have a great evening.

Hey, try checking online for the monitor if you can't find one at your store...some of them on ebay are cheaper... I only bought mine at the store because I didn't want to wait on the mail since I only had about 9 wks left when I bought it, but now with my cousin pregnant she is going to use it and I can keep it for next time...if there's a next time...not sure about that one. Went to dr today, they are going to do an us next wed to see how she is doing and get a better look at when she will be okay/safe to be born. I can't wait to find out how much they measure her to weigh...Caitlin only weighed 5 lbs when she was born. I love the name Amy Elise...we were gonna name this pink bundle, Aimee Berlin, but I couldn't sell hubby on Berlin. I can't even imagine our discussion if we were to find out we were going to have a boy, he is set on atleast the same initials...atleast I talked him out of a jr. Just glad we don't have to go through that right now!!! Liam Jeremy is a good name...I like it, you don't here it too much, not here. I need help right now!!! As tiredf as I am, Caitlin has been extremely constipated, and we have tried the prune juice, the kayro syrup, and she has pooped once in 3 days, she did earlier today for first time since Sunday and her belly is hurting her sooo much...which means she won't do anything but let me hold her. I think if she's not better in the morning I am going to take her to doctor. Have a good night!!!

At first I wanted to wait to find out boy/girl...I knew if we did they would look in December I wanted them to write it in an envelope and me and hubby open it on Chritmas, because we usually don't bu too much or anything for each other, it all depends on what we get Caitlin and neices and nephews. They scheduled my us for my b-day so it worked out, and I KNEW my hubby and I couldn't decied on a name together in a short time so we found out. It still took us 2 months to pick out Kimberlee Grace. lol. I bought the monitor from walmart for $19.97, it does work better than I thought it would, it has to be quiet or it can echo sounds of Caitlin playing/crying, or tv. My cousin comes over and uses it a good bit, she is due in August. She had mc'd past Aug after having 2 boys, so she has worried and it has helped her out. I go back today to dr then next wk i should start wkly appts. If she is okay, they are going to try to schedule c-section on april 22 if she's not ready they will do it on 29th. So far that's all we know. I'm just ready to find out something.

Beleive it or not, I was mean before Caitlin came around...I was and to some extent the one in the family with an honest attitude...i'm sometimes brutally honest, then Caiti came along, NOW the littel stuff doesn't bother me, and I replace the saness and mad at the world temper I had before with smiles and baby talk, and night night books. Today has been a rough day, Caiti has about 4 teeth coming up 2 of those are breaking through sooo we have been miserable!!! I go back to dr tomorrow and I wish I could hear a date he is going to schedule this so I could try to have everything done...I finally told my husband tonight how emotioal I have been abou tworrying about how everything is going to get done, clothes, dishes, dinners, bathtimes...he said don't worry it will be taken care of. His grandmother is coming to spend a week or two with us, I love her!!! She is one from his side of the family that is truly involved with Caitlin and so far with Kimberlee even without her here yet. I get worried everyday before a drs appointment. I went and bought a bebe sounds heart monitor, even though hubby is on fire dept and has a stethoscope I wanted to be able to hear heartbeat clearly. We'll see, I'll let ya know what doc says tomorrow. I can't beleive you go 8 wks without seeing dr...is it that way every pregnancy, I would go insane waiting!!! I went eery 4 wks and that drove me crazy. Will you try to find out boy/girl at next appt?
