Hey, My name is Amanda. Me and my partner are expecting our third child in september!! i can't wait. I have been suffering really bad morning sickness this time around, which i didn't get half as bad with my girls. Congratulations to all the soon to be mummy's and good luck with your pregnancys!!
Jeremy and i have been together 7 years on May the 16th 2008. We already have two beautiful girls, Vanessa(5) and Erin(20months). When we tried to concieve Vanessa, everything went great! I fell pregnant two weeks after going off the pill. She was born by c-section two weeks early on Nov 15, 2002.
When we tried for our second i fell pregnant easily, but m/c between 5-6 weeks, which was upsetting. Obviously something wasn't right. It would have been born at christmas 04. When we feel pregnant a few months later, i m/c again between 5-6 weeks, and the baby would have been born in July 05.
I went to the doctor to have some blood tests done, i found out that i had pcos which was awful. My doctor told me that we might not have any more children!! I went home to my mums and cried!!
Luckily i fell pregnant in September 05 and I had Erin by c-section in June 06!! When i was early into the pregnany i had a few scans to make sure a baby was growing inside. My doctor told me that if i felt any pains, i had to sit or lie down and rest. We were very lucky to have her!! She has such a beautiful personality.
I am currently pregnant with our third and i'm about 9w3 days. We just hope that it holds on, and grows strong. It is possible to have children with pcos.We wern't even trying for this one!! We look forward to meeting our baby in September.
I have my first ultrasound on the 5th of March..... I can't wait! I just hope to see something inside. Fingers crossed!!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! ST PATRICKS DAY. I'M CURRENTLY 11 WKS 5 DAYS WITH NUMBER 3.
HAD MY FIRST U/S ON MARCH 5TH. BABY WAS FINE AND THE HEART BEAT WAS 164. MY MORNING SICKNESS HAS ALMOST GONE, BUT I'M STILL FEELING TIRED. MY ELDEST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE BABY TO ARRIVE. I AM STILL SHOCKED ABOUT THE PREGNANCY, BUT VERY EXCITED.
JUST PROVES THAT WITH PSOC YOU CAN STILL HAVE A FAMILY. ALL MY BABIES WERE NATURAL CONCEPTION.
IT JUST AMAZES ME EVERY DAY!!
25th MARCH 08
Well i have made it past 12weeks. I'll be 13wks on thursday. My morning sickness is gone, but i am sneezing all the time. We are almost at the start of the dry season here in Darwin. Gonna miss the rain!! Glad to pregnant through the dry rather than the build up with the humidity.
Baby seems to be going ok. My next doctors app. isn't till the 30th of april. I'll be one day off 19 weeks!!!! That means 8wks without seeing a doctor. Luckily i have an u/s next week on wed 2nd April for Nuchal toc. I haven't heard the heart beat yet. It was a 164 last u/s, so it will be interesting to see what it is this time round. Can't wait to see bubs again!
17th APRIL 08
Well i had my ultrasound on the 2nd of April and the baby is doing really well. The only problem was the baby was curled up and asleep, so the u/s tech had problems trying to take pictures of the baby's skin at the back of the neck for the Nuchal toc screening. Poor lady. She had left the room three times to find out if the pictures were ok. Finally the head tech came in and managed to get one good photo of bubs before it turned again!!
It's heart beat was 143bpm, which is alot lower than my other scans. It's got my partner wondering if it is a boy??? Hmm... Have to wait and see!! I'm just hoping that at my 19 week scan, the baby is active!! I don't see my doctor for another 2 weeks, which i'm hanging out for. I still haven't heard the babys heart beat.... but i know it's alive because i have been feeling movement for about 2 and a half weeks. This is my third though.
30th APRIL 08
Well i finally get to see my doctor today for the first time in 8 weeks! I'm looking forward to it. It's at the Royal Darwin Hospital. I forgot that i had a dentist appointment today awell.
Just got back from the dentist and i had my tooth pulled... ouch!! it was split so now i have to go to the hospital with gause in my mouth. It a 2 hour appointment at the hospital and i know they are going to ask me alot of questions and my mouth is sore. Atleast i won't have my kids with me which is a little easier! i'll let you know how i go!

At first I wanted to wait to find out boy/girl...I knew if we did they would look in December I wanted them to write it in an envelope and me and hubby open it on Chritmas, because we usually don't bu too much or anything for each other, it all depends on what we get Caitlin and neices and nephews. They scheduled my us for my b-day so it worked out, and I KNEW my hubby and I couldn't decied on a name together in a short time so we found out. It still took us 2 months to pick out Kimberlee Grace. lol. I bought the monitor from walmart for $19.97, it does work better than I thought it would, it has to be quiet or it can echo sounds of Caitlin playing/crying, or tv. My cousin comes over and uses it a good bit, she is due in August. She had mc'd past Aug after having 2 boys, so she has worried and it has helped her out. I go back today to dr then next wk i should start wkly appts. If she is okay, they are going to try to schedule c-section on april 22 if she's not ready they will do it on 29th. So far that's all we know. I'm just ready to find out something.

Beleive it or not, I was mean before Caitlin came around...I was and to some extent the one in the family with an honest attitude...i'm sometimes brutally honest, then Caiti came along, NOW the littel stuff doesn't bother me, and I replace the saness and mad at the world temper I had before with smiles and baby talk, and night night books. Today has been a rough day, Caiti has about 4 teeth coming up 2 of those are breaking through sooo we have been miserable!!! I go back to dr tomorrow and I wish I could hear a date he is going to schedule this so I could try to have everything done...I finally told my husband tonight how emotioal I have been abou tworrying about how everything is going to get done, clothes, dishes, dinners, bathtimes...he said don't worry it will be taken care of. His grandmother is coming to spend a week or two with us, I love her!!! She is one from his side of the family that is truly involved with Caitlin and so far with Kimberlee even without her here yet. I get worried everyday before a drs appointment. I went and bought a bebe sounds heart monitor, even though hubby is on fire dept and has a stethoscope I wanted to be able to hear heartbeat clearly. We'll see, I'll let ya know what doc says tomorrow. I can't beleive you go 8 wks without seeing dr...is it that way every pregnancy, I would go insane waiting!!! I went eery 4 wks and that drove me crazy. Will you try to find out boy/girl at next appt?

Hey thanks sooo much for the advice on laying on my tummy!! I am starting to get uncomfortable laying on my tummy mainly little niggly pain on my left hand side of my groin but i still find myself waking up on my stomache but i have been told by a few people now it cant be harmful to the baby it'll just get uncomfortable as i get bigger.. as you said laying on a balloon.. but thank you so much for your advice..

Hey, with Caitlin I was put in the hospital to be inducedlate Sun night, I was only dilated to 1.5, Mon after hours of epidural and it getting cut off so I could push then about 10:30 starting to push...they called dr in, he was about to make cut so I wouldn't tear her head was down the birth canal, but I honestly think he could see she was wrapped up, they had to place the heart monitor on her, and they thought they had done it wrong, I know now they could tell along with her heartbeat spiking off the charts and the dr being able to see her that she was wrapped up in the bands and that is what caused emer c-section. I know it wasn't something I could avoid...that's why with this little one we decided to schedule it. My husband was scared of me trying to have her naturally, and me too. I'm 25 4 pregnancies and 3 have had some type of complication. I thank God everyday for Caitlin knowing so many people have told us they can't belive my sac didn't rupture and I didn't lose her to...one reason I am sooo against amnio test. Had I allowed them to do it(even though we didn't know until she was born) the entire sac would have ruptureed and I would have lost her. We have been working with 'big' girl things Caiti can do. LOL, the other morning her daddy changed her diaper and forgot to close the powder...she went later that morning to change her stuffed bunny's diaper and she was powdering her, and powder got all over bunny...She freaked out, I couldn't help but smile because she knew that wasn't right! I think with only 4 wks left I am getting scared of everything, at first I was thinking it will all be okay but my past is scaring me, and then i'll think it'll be okay no matter what. Caitlin is getting so many teeth in now, my house has been a wreck and she is miserable, I keep thinking OMG how am I gonna do this??? Then I talk to other moms and realize it can be done, it's done all the time. You never hear about Caitlin's diagnosis and if I could tell everyone expecting anything, it would be don't worry about 10 fingers 10 toes. She amazes me everyday, her 4 yr old cousin asked yesterday, why is her hand like this? I told him God wanted her that way...he smiled and grabbed her hand and told her...God make you pecial...I cried.

Hi, thanks for your post on previous c-sections...I hadn't planned to have a c-section with my first so I never really looked into it or was able to ask about staples/stitches...so when it cmae time I never thought about any of that. I was just woried about baby and everything was rushed!!! We are expecting our second girl in about 4 wks. He is scheduling me for 38 wks. Guess I'm just nervous about all of the openings of scar and it healing for the second time...especially with a toddler that loves to climb and bounce on mommy's lap! She'll be 20 months old and I am so scared she won't understand she won't be able to climb on mommy like she normally does. How did you balance time with new baby and your oldest daughter? I read your story and was touched...I also mc'd 2x before carrying my 3rd pregnancy to term when our daughter was born. Congratulations on this pregnancy!!!
