Image and video hosting by TinyPicIt is lovely to meet you! I am married to a dairyfarmer and live in the south island of New Zealand, within a stones throw of the Southern Alps.I am a mother of 7. I have 5 boys and 2 girls, a son 18, a son 17, a daughter 13, a son 11, a son 3 1/2, and another son almost 2, and my seventh baby, a girl, born on the 29th of May 2008. I

I started having children when I turned 20.
The two older ones have left home and are working, and the 11 year old lives with my first husband(you see,it is almost like having two separate families, there is a nine year age gap, between the fourth and the fifth child).
My 13 going on 30 daughter lives with me, and my 3 year old and two year old and 2 week old daughter, live with me, the littlest ones are from my present marriage.
So, it is not that hard when you look at it, if I had 7 young kids together it would be a handful and I don't know how I would put up with that, lol!
My second husband and I,werent planning on having children, in fact, he was told years ago, he had more chance of winning lottery than getting anyone pregnant. And we believed this to be true for four years with unprotected sex, and then wham bam, along came number 5, pregnant, in the year we were planning on marrying. We still got married, and I was 6 months pregnant, I was hardly showing so, I looked as if I wasn't pregnant, which was great! Then 4 months after the birth of my fifth baby, I fell pregnant with my sixth, and then 18 months after the sixth, whoa and behold, I am pregnant with number 7!

I love to chat, and would love to form a friendship with other women due around the same date as me, or women who are older, or who have had lots of kids, but I happy to meet anyone, I would love to hear from you!

Ka kite Ano

Here are some pictures of New Zealand, I hope you enjoy them........

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic I have a variety of birth experiences all vaginal, I have had two homebirths and with some of my births I have had an epidural to cope with the pain.

As I have experienced birth without pain relief and with, I would like to state that anyway you choose to give birth at the time it happens, will always be right for you, and never ever feel you failed if you planned a non-medicated birth and end up having one, you are not a failure, you are an incredible woman, who has just given birth to a miracle, clever girl!

I have started this pregnancy site a little late in the piece, but will add from 21 weeks and give regular postings to keep you all updated on my pregnancy and eventually the birth of the little one. A few years ago, I broke my tailbone twice in one year and have had bad back problems since then. I had my second homebirth with my fifth child, and is was a very unpleasantly painful experience because of my back issues, the back pain was so bad I could hardly stand it. With my last labour, the same back pain started up, so I opted for pain relief, although I felt back pain right before I pushed the baby out. The last labour was 13 hours to full dilation, but once I was fully dilated the baby was born in literally seconds, the midwifes had to catch the baby before he went off the end of the table!

Shan-Enterprises - Monday, 30 June
Thats why I sleep heaps through the day. I'm the sort of person where if something has to be done then I'll just put my head down and get on with it, but getting into the gym is another story . It's not too bad working nights I guess, because I get 4 nights off after working 4 nights so it gives me time to recover from my sleep deprivation but it does mess up my body clock.

Shan-Enterprises - Monday, 30 June
I'm so tired this time round that I'm finding it hard to get motivated to get into our gym. All I want to do is sleep. Jayden wanting to be constantly entertained doesn't give me a gap of free time either and when he's asleep I need to catch up on sleep myself. I guess when he starts to sleep through the night I will put more effort in as I wont need to sleep during the day as often.

Yes they are... absolutely precious!! I want more!! Hahah. I'm thinking girls are a lot crankier than boys though? Cuz my little one is probably THEE crankiest of them all!

AWWW.....being a teenager is not easy. All the hormones, your body is changing physically and not to mention the peer pressure to fit in.
I will say some prayers.
Hugs!!

Hi hon ;) not that lucky yet... although I think I may be in early labour - had two really strong contractions very close together last night, and woke up with one this morning... much pressure in the pelvic floor today, and a lot of discharge - mostly jelly-like (I was sure I'd lost all my plug already??) with what looks like old blood in it (an off-brown colour)...
Keeping fingers crossed, and keeping this site open all day today so I can keep you guys posted... I really really hope this means this is it coming... I was so sad last night when the contractions eased off into very mild ones after having to rock, breathe and walk through two hectic ones last night :(

I'm very crampy today, so am getting stuck into housework early this morning, to see if we can keep it up, then will do the bag last-minute check to make sure I have everything. God, I want to meet him so badly!

The doc has said not to go into hospital unless my waters break or I'm getting 5 - 6 contractions in an hour... whether or not my waters have broken, I don't know - I was VERY wet yesterday, but at 41 weeks I figured I might have "leaked"... and not from the womb lol *blush*, as for 5 - 6 contractions in an hour, I guess I'll really know when that happens... not yet anyway.

Thinking of you honey, I hope you're holding up okay and have been able to get a little rest? I think of you every day...

will keep you posted!

She is even bigger now if you can imagine it. LOL

Thanks Nikki... I love it when he is being cuddly with her too.

Naomi is a little chunker. ha ha She loves to eat. A friend of mine has a baby with reflux and it really difficult on her. She is feeding all the time. At first her nipples were so sore.

Isn't it beautiful when they smile and grin at you. It just melts my heart every time Naomi does it. She is settling in quite nicely. I have no complaints. She has her cranky times but she has settled herself into her own routine. Nicholas never had a routine. ha ha he still doesn't.

Naomi has doubled her weight already. The doctor said that they normally don't double their weight until they are six months old. I guess that where she was so small she caught up quickly. LOL I just think she likes to eat.. alot

I hope that you are getting sleep. Hugs and kisses to you and baby Eden.

Thank you for sharing your story with me.
My concern is it will swell up again. I know it won't be nearly as bad as labor, but it is your vagina!!
Was it sore for awhile? Did you have to take anything for the pain? I have just really enjoyed being able to take baths. I don't want to be on bath restriction again. LOL
I know it isn't really a big deal, but anything going on down there scares me.
The family is doing well. I just love being a mommy!! :) It's funny, because I never want to put Presley in his bassinet. I just love snuggling with him. I am not one for co-sleeping, but I just can't get enough of him. Nikki! Mother hood is better than I thought it was going to be. He gets his first shots on Monday and I am a bit nervous. I don't want my lovie to be in pain.

It was really good to hear from you. I am so happy that things are better for you and Eden. She is so beautiful Nikki!!
Hugs! Love you!
Suzanne
