Image and video hosting by TinyPicIt is lovely to meet you! I am married to a dairyfarmer and live in the south island of New Zealand, within a stones throw of the Southern Alps.I am a mother of 7. I have 5 boys and 2 girls, a son 18, a son 17, a daughter 13, a son 11, a son 3 1/2, and another son almost 2, and my seventh baby, a girl, born on the 29th of May 2008. I

I started having children when I turned 20.
The two older ones have left home and are working, and the 11 year old lives with my first husband(you see,it is almost like having two separate families, there is a nine year age gap, between the fourth and the fifth child).
My 13 going on 30 daughter lives with me, and my 3 year old and two year old and 2 week old daughter, live with me, the littlest ones are from my present marriage.
So, it is not that hard when you look at it, if I had 7 young kids together it would be a handful and I don't know how I would put up with that, lol!
My second husband and I,werent planning on having children, in fact, he was told years ago, he had more chance of winning lottery than getting anyone pregnant. And we believed this to be true for four years with unprotected sex, and then wham bam, along came number 5, pregnant, in the year we were planning on marrying. We still got married, and I was 6 months pregnant, I was hardly showing so, I looked as if I wasn't pregnant, which was great! Then 4 months after the birth of my fifth baby, I fell pregnant with my sixth, and then 18 months after the sixth, whoa and behold, I am pregnant with number 7!

I love to chat, and would love to form a friendship with other women due around the same date as me, or women who are older, or who have had lots of kids, but I happy to meet anyone, I would love to hear from you!

Ka kite Ano

Here are some pictures of New Zealand, I hope you enjoy them........

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic I have a variety of birth experiences all vaginal, I have had two homebirths and with some of my births I have had an epidural to cope with the pain.

As I have experienced birth without pain relief and with, I would like to state that anyway you choose to give birth at the time it happens, will always be right for you, and never ever feel you failed if you planned a non-medicated birth and end up having one, you are not a failure, you are an incredible woman, who has just given birth to a miracle, clever girl!

I have started this pregnancy site a little late in the piece, but will add from 21 weeks and give regular postings to keep you all updated on my pregnancy and eventually the birth of the little one. A few years ago, I broke my tailbone twice in one year and have had bad back problems since then. I had my second homebirth with my fifth child, and is was a very unpleasantly painful experience because of my back issues, the back pain was so bad I could hardly stand it. With my last labour, the same back pain started up, so I opted for pain relief, although I felt back pain right before I pushed the baby out. The last labour was 13 hours to full dilation, but once I was fully dilated the baby was born in literally seconds, the midwifes had to catch the baby before he went off the end of the table!

I know, I love when they sleep longer but the boobs hate it!! They get so full and sore. I have actually had to wake Naomi up to feed her because my boobs hurt so bad and I hate pumping, I find it takes much longer to pump than to feed her and she goes right back to sleep so it is all good. LOL

Naomi was 10 weeks old yesterday. My goodness time just flies by. How old is Eden? I love spending time with her even in the middle of the night. I just love to watch her and talk to her because I know this is my last baby and I want to enjoy every minute. With Nicholas I was so focused on getting to the next stage that I missed the one he was in, but with Naomi I don't even know when she is supposed to be doing certain things, I just enjoy them as they come. She will be who she was meant to be without me worrying whether or not she rolled over on time. LOL I am much more relaxed and I am enjoying mothering her more. I am trying to do that now with Nick and his new things as well. It is harder with him because I am still learning with him. I have never been a mother to a four year old so everything is new.
Wow sorry for writing a story, I guess I just needed someone to talk to as my husband is working a lot lately and he will be traveling next week so I guess I am feeling a little bit lonely for adult conversation. Ha ha

Hope you and Eden are feeling better. Hugs and kisses....
Lesa

Hi my friend! Just dropping by to say HI! I hope you are having a good week and Eden is doing well.
Love you!

miracle-baby - Wednesday, 2 July
It is good to hear that you are feeling better. It is so sweet that she can still smile when she is not feeling well. It is hard to breastfeed when her nose is stuffy. Poor little sweetheart.

It is funny how we don't think we have an accent but when others hear us I am sure that we do. lol We live on the Atlantic Coast, which I love.

I would love for you to teleport and enjoy a drink with you! That would be cool.

I think Nicholas caught a cold last night on the boat He woke up this morning coughing but still talking about the fireworks so I guess it was worth it. LOL

I should go, Naomi is wanting something to eat in which only I can feed her. LOL Hope to talk to you soon.

Hope you and Eden are feeling better. I find it funny that when we were freezing our asses off you were nice and warm and now that we are nice and warm you are freezing your ass off. Hee hee Winter sucks!!!

We are having Canada Day here and I just popped in out of the heat to sit on the computer. We are waiting to take our boat out on the river to watch the fireworks. We are letting Nick stay up really late hopefully it won't backfire tomorrow.

Talk to you soon. XXX

yup leaking nipples! Have been told that it would happen, so im going to go to the baby factory and buy some reusable breast pads later today.
Aww thats so adorable about little Eden..
As for the cold, we have the wind chill here in Palmerston, like its cold but the wind makes it even colder and all it seems to do is rain at the moment making it seem so depressing!
