Image and video hosting by TinyPicIt is lovely to meet you! I am married to a dairyfarmer and live in the south island of New Zealand, within a stones throw of the Southern Alps.I am a mother of 7. I have 5 boys and 2 girls, a son 18, a son 17, a daughter 13, a son 11, a son 3 1/2, and another son almost 2, and my seventh baby, a girl, born on the 29th of May 2008. I

I started having children when I turned 20.
The two older ones have left home and are working, and the 11 year old lives with my first husband(you see,it is almost like having two separate families, there is a nine year age gap, between the fourth and the fifth child).
My 13 going on 30 daughter lives with me, and my 3 year old and two year old and 2 week old daughter, live with me, the littlest ones are from my present marriage.
So, it is not that hard when you look at it, if I had 7 young kids together it would be a handful and I don't know how I would put up with that, lol!
My second husband and I,werent planning on having children, in fact, he was told years ago, he had more chance of winning lottery than getting anyone pregnant. And we believed this to be true for four years with unprotected sex, and then wham bam, along came number 5, pregnant, in the year we were planning on marrying. We still got married, and I was 6 months pregnant, I was hardly showing so, I looked as if I wasn't pregnant, which was great! Then 4 months after the birth of my fifth baby, I fell pregnant with my sixth, and then 18 months after the sixth, whoa and behold, I am pregnant with number 7!

I love to chat, and would love to form a friendship with other women due around the same date as me, or women who are older, or who have had lots of kids, but I happy to meet anyone, I would love to hear from you!

Ka kite Ano

Here are some pictures of New Zealand, I hope you enjoy them........

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic I have a variety of birth experiences all vaginal, I have had two homebirths and with some of my births I have had an epidural to cope with the pain.

As I have experienced birth without pain relief and with, I would like to state that anyway you choose to give birth at the time it happens, will always be right for you, and never ever feel you failed if you planned a non-medicated birth and end up having one, you are not a failure, you are an incredible woman, who has just given birth to a miracle, clever girl!

I have started this pregnancy site a little late in the piece, but will add from 21 weeks and give regular postings to keep you all updated on my pregnancy and eventually the birth of the little one. A few years ago, I broke my tailbone twice in one year and have had bad back problems since then. I had my second homebirth with my fifth child, and is was a very unpleasantly painful experience because of my back issues, the back pain was so bad I could hardly stand it. With my last labour, the same back pain started up, so I opted for pain relief, although I felt back pain right before I pushed the baby out. The last labour was 13 hours to full dilation, but once I was fully dilated the baby was born in literally seconds, the midwifes had to catch the baby before he went off the end of the table!

4nikki - Tuesday, 1 July
Thank you so much. I sorry to hear your sick I hope you both feel better real soon. Again thank you. xxxx

My chiro said the same thing about reflux but isn't reflux an under-developed asophicus? But...like you said, it's worth a try. Let me know whow you go with it because if it does work I might take Jayden and get him checked out.
It's horrible when they're so tiny and they get sick. Dion got sick the day I brought him home from the hospital and he snored and sneezed and coughed for the first week of his life...lol (poor little guy). I can feel my body fighting off something at the moment but so far so good. Everyone around seems to be getting middle-ear infections at the moment. Angie's had it twice in both ears in the last 3 weeks and is still trying to shake it now. Must be a change in the wind or something.
Anyways, yeah Jayden is getting very big and he's trying to crawl at the moment. He's so inpatient, you can see him getting frustrated when he wants to get to something and he cant. It's almost like you can see him thinking ..."whats wrong with this dam body I know these legs are meat for walking and this hands are meat for grabbing but I just cant get that dam cat..." LOL.

im doing alright, i woke up this morning with leaking nipples..gave my a shock i tell ya..but apart from that im counting down the weeks till i finish work ( 5weeks) and then will be able to relax for 6 weeks before bub is born ( or so thats my plan)
Weeks seem to go past faster at the mo, making me more and more nervous about the lack of stuff i have and the stuff i have to get..
Hows is your lil eden doing? Hows the rest of your family adjusting to having a little baby round?
Feeling the cold? gosh i have had the fire going all day today..im glad i have a little extra padding on this winter hehe

 awwwww

miracle-baby - Monday, 30 June
I sleep with Naomi too so that I can get some sleep. I am going to try to get her into her crib soon. I just hate the thought of it but I do need my bed back. I need to get a monitor so that I feel better about putting her into her own room. I am so scared that something might happen. I still get up in the middle of the night and check on my son and he is four years old. LOL I am weird I know.

It is very tiring for you to have to hold her all the time. Especially, when you have others to care for. Hopefully, her reflux does get better soon.

Oh yes their sweet smell. I am going to miss that!! She is my last baby and I am trying to enjoy every minute. Some minutes are better than others. ha ha Anyway, I am trying to enjoy her and spend as much time with her as I can.

Take care, xxx

pinkb00h - Monday, 30 June
Ooo, thanks for all the great advice! I'm definitely gonna have to try it all, and see if it works any.

Sometimes I think burping her after she nurses isn't enough. When she gets real cranky, sometimes the only thing I can do to get her to stop is try and burp her again. She won't always burp, but it gets her to quit crying!

Shan-Enterprises - Monday, 30 June
If she's got reflux wouldn't feeding her all the time make her more unsettled?? IDK. My first two had reflux really bad but I only fed them every 4 hours. They got over it once they were sitting up (I guess the flap on the top of the asophicus (sp?) decided it was ready to work :) Did your other babies have it? I'm assuming that all 7 children have probably been very different but relux is very common, isn't it?!?!
Sometimes I dont know how I manage to work while Jayden is very young. Even today I was sitting here questioning where I get the strength from. Anyways, what can I do. It's only get more expensive to live here in Sydney with interest rates and petrol constantly going up.
Hope your feeling well today.
TTYL...xxx

liz82 - Monday, 30 June
look at her she so sweet

pinkb00h - Monday, 30 June
I don't know what to do to stop it... I burp her after I feed her (this is usually when she STARTS to spit up) and then I keep her upright for 30 mins afterward. Once I start to move her around again, or if I lay her down, she'll spit up then! And it's not always just liquid. Sometimes it's... chunky? Not like if you or I were to throw up (sorry!) but it's... idk. Not all smooth lol. Do you know how to tell if she would be colicy? Without taking her to the doctor?

Shan-Enterprises - Monday, 30 June
Thats why I sleep heaps through the day. I'm the sort of person where if something has to be done then I'll just put my head down and get on with it, but getting into the gym is another story . It's not too bad working nights I guess, because I get 4 nights off after working 4 nights so it gives me time to recover from my sleep deprivation but it does mess up my body clock.

Shan-Enterprises - Monday, 30 June
I'm so tired this time round that I'm finding it hard to get motivated to get into our gym. All I want to do is sleep. Jayden wanting to be constantly entertained doesn't give me a gap of free time either and when he's asleep I need to catch up on sleep myself. I guess when he starts to sleep through the night I will put more effort in as I wont need to sleep during the day as often.

pinkb00h - Sunday, 29 June
Yes they are... absolutely precious!! I want more!! Hahah. I'm thinking girls are a lot crankier than boys though? Cuz my little one is probably THEE crankiest of them all!

Blessing8168 - Sunday, 29 June
AWWW.....being a teenager is not easy. All the hormones, your body is changing physically and not to mention the peer pressure to fit in.
I will say some prayers.
Hugs!!
