Image and video hosting by TinyPicIt is lovely to meet you! I am married to a dairyfarmer and live in the south island of New Zealand, within a stones throw of the Southern Alps.I am a mother of 7. I have 5 boys and 2 girls, a son 18, a son 17, a daughter 13, a son 11, a son 3 1/2, and another son almost 2, and my seventh baby, a girl, born on the 29th of May 2008. I

I started having children when I turned 20.
The two older ones have left home and are working, and the 11 year old lives with my first husband(you see,it is almost like having two separate families, there is a nine year age gap, between the fourth and the fifth child).
My 13 going on 30 daughter lives with me, and my 3 year old and two year old and 2 week old daughter, live with me, the littlest ones are from my present marriage.
So, it is not that hard when you look at it, if I had 7 young kids together it would be a handful and I don't know how I would put up with that, lol!
My second husband and I,werent planning on having children, in fact, he was told years ago, he had more chance of winning lottery than getting anyone pregnant. And we believed this to be true for four years with unprotected sex, and then wham bam, along came number 5, pregnant, in the year we were planning on marrying. We still got married, and I was 6 months pregnant, I was hardly showing so, I looked as if I wasn't pregnant, which was great! Then 4 months after the birth of my fifth baby, I fell pregnant with my sixth, and then 18 months after the sixth, whoa and behold, I am pregnant with number 7!

I love to chat, and would love to form a friendship with other women due around the same date as me, or women who are older, or who have had lots of kids, but I happy to meet anyone, I would love to hear from you!

Ka kite Ano

Here are some pictures of New Zealand, I hope you enjoy them........

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic Image and video hosting by TinyPic I have a variety of birth experiences all vaginal, I have had two homebirths and with some of my births I have had an epidural to cope with the pain.

As I have experienced birth without pain relief and with, I would like to state that anyway you choose to give birth at the time it happens, will always be right for you, and never ever feel you failed if you planned a non-medicated birth and end up having one, you are not a failure, you are an incredible woman, who has just given birth to a miracle, clever girl!

I have started this pregnancy site a little late in the piece, but will add from 21 weeks and give regular postings to keep you all updated on my pregnancy and eventually the birth of the little one. A few years ago, I broke my tailbone twice in one year and have had bad back problems since then. I had my second homebirth with my fifth child, and is was a very unpleasantly painful experience because of my back issues, the back pain was so bad I could hardly stand it. With my last labour, the same back pain started up, so I opted for pain relief, although I felt back pain right before I pushed the baby out. The last labour was 13 hours to full dilation, but once I was fully dilated the baby was born in literally seconds, the midwifes had to catch the baby before he went off the end of the table!

GinaMummy - Monday, 7 July
Hey hunni, Love your profile pic she looks adorable, It makes me want my baby now!!! Not long to go now, Im into week 33 this week and time is flying by so I have to just be patient.
How are you getting along now sweetie? Hows Eden settling into your family life? I hope that you are doing well and that you are feeling well in yourself.
I think my UTI has gone now, changed my antibiotics last week and they seem to have done the trick, fingers crossed!
My PBS is ok, I think its made worse by the fact Izzie is head down and engaged already and that is putting pressure on my pelvis. But its not unbearable. So Im not complaining. In fact Im trying to enjoy these last weeks of pregnancy, and the special time Im getting with my unborn baby, plus the speacial time Im getting with Alexandra one to one. She totally understands what is going on and seems to be a little more needy at the moment, so after she finishes nursery this morning we are going out together to get daddy some birhtday presents, (its neils birhtday at the end of July).
Ive missed speaking to you latley hun, and hope that this message finds you in good health and not too tired. Take good care

Nikki,
Hadn't talked to you for awhile -popped over to your site to check out new pics. EDEN IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! Hope all is well with you and your family.

Feeling good, but starting to get slightly uncomfortable at times. Just 27 weeks, so I know there is a lot more of that ahead. There's a part of me that is not anxious for it to be over because I know that's when the real work starts, but looking at photos of Eden, I'm actually starting to get a little excited for it. I'm still SHOCKED!

oh the wind here is so chilly, i think its the wind that makes it so damn cold..
I remember living in Hamner Springs and getting heaps of snow..but thats going back about 10 years! haha
Did you have a good weekend?

zavana - Sunday, 6 July
oh thanks for that!
Good to hear it coming from experience rather then people going on about something that they have none!
Oh we have been having some heavy hail storms, but im sure thats nothing compared to down there with the snow and all..

miracle-baby - Saturday, 5 July
It is very hard to write with one hand. ha ha But lately I have been getting really good at doing things with one hand. If I ever get to enjoy a meal I would be a lucky girl. I am trying Naomi out in her crib for the first time tonight so I am a little nervous so I am up really late. She is doing really well, I on the other hand am a wreck. This will be great if she goes in because Nick slept with us until he was two so this will be awesome to have our bed to ourselves for a change.

I love Eden's jacket it is adorable. How does she like being bundled up?

Naomi had her hip checked today and she may have to go into a pavelock harness. I am so upset. Nick had to wear one from the time he was two weeks old up until he was about 14 weeks old. I hated it and so did he. I can't imagine trying to put Naomi into one now that she is used to stretching out. It is going to break my heart. I know it is for the greater good but still... I just cried when they told me the her left hip isn't as advanced as her right one. I can't believe that both of my children had this. Both of Nick's hips were bad so I can be thankful it is just one of hers but I wasn't able to snuggle Nick the way I can Naomi and breastfeeding was so hard because he couldn't move. Grr I am so upset! Sorry for venting but I have noone to talk to. Dale is taking it all in stride and he says well we got to do it. So that is it for him but I just keep thinking about how hard it was with Nick. It just makes me want to cry.

what is raynuads syndrome?
Oh so embrassing! the one thing i am worried about is my waters breaking in public!
Question for you....did eden fit newborn clothes since she was 9lb? As people have said that they dont...thought id ask since you actually have a baby and all...
Hope your keeping warm!!
