OLIVIA AUTUMN'S BIRTH STORY!!!

Our Angel has FINALLY ARRIVED and we couldnt be happier!!! She is everything and more then we imagined she would be!! I woke up at 5:15 in the morning on Monday Oct 15th with cramps in my belly....I also felt sick to my stomach so I thought I was getting the flu....I sat there in bed wondering what was going on and then I realized I was watching the clock and these cramps were actually contractions because they were coming every 2 mins exactly....Jason woke up at 5:45 to get ready for work and he asked me what was wrong...I told him I had cramps in my belly and hes just sat there with me and he decided to start timing them too....he then made a very quick decision to call work and say he wasnt coming because they were consistant. I didnt want to go to the hospital because I was sure It was just the flu and I didnt want to go into the hospital and look like an idiot by telling them i think im in labour meanwhile its just the flu lol So I sat there until Jason MADE ME get up and go lol...by 6:30 hes like OK WE ARE GOING NOW I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY because he was timing them at 1:45 apart....so off to the RVH we went...When we got there we parked infront of the emerg doors where YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO PARK and walked up to the maternity ward and Jason told the nurses at the desk I was having contractions 1-2 mins apart...and the nurses looked at me like I was CRAZY because i was still standing and the one nurse said well how are you still talking and walking threw them and i was like I dont know I just know it hurts but not as bad as ppl say!! so anyways she took me into a delivery room and jason ran down to the car to move it into a parking space and while he was gone she checked me and was amazed to find that I was 8cm dilated and fully effaced!...Jason came back up from moving the car and the nurse looked at him and said this baby is coming now!!! She called for the doctor to come into the room who had to rebook his c-section he had @ 8 because Olivia wasnt waiting for him to be done with that she wanted out!!! There was no time to even hook me up to a normal iv to hydrate me or no time to do the paper work!! They asked for my consent to deliver my baby AFTER SHE was delivered!! Im very proud to say Olivia was born ALL NATURAL and I would do it all again in a heartbeat!!!!! Just like I wanted!! I DID IT!! The nurses told us our next baby will probably be delivered in the car on the way to the hospital because our first was born so fast! Our beautiful baby girl arrived at 8:15am Oct 15th weighing a healthy 8lbs and 8oz!!

40 WEEKS PREGNANT TODAY!!!!!

We made it!....I have oficially carried baby for 280 days!.....Now only if she would come out! I cant wait to hold her and love her and care for her......

My Pregnancy.......

I know its a little bit late to update my page now but I lost my old page and I have alot of spare time just waiting anxiously for my little bundle of joy to arrive!

The story goes like this.......

About 4 years ago I met the love of my life Jason when he came into a store that I used to work in....although at the time he was in a relationship with someone else. The day that I seen him I found my dream! he is EXACTLY what I have always dreampt of marrying...... Anyways our lawnboy walked in the store a couple of minutes later and thats when i realized THEY WERE BROTHERS!!!! I ended up selling Jason 2 jackets and giving him a really good discount ;)......I ended up running into him a few times downtown at the bars and as I started talking to him I found out he works with my brother and my brother is his BOSS!!!....what a small world....anyways I continued to run into him and drool over him for about 2 years but i was always intimidated by him and only gave him a hug and talked to him for a min or 2....UNTIL ONE NIGHT when I drank just a little to much and decided to go over and start dancing with him LOL...WELL to make a long story short I found out he wasnt with his girlfriend anymore and we have been together ever since that night :) :) :).....In Jan of this year I moved in with him and I was in my second year of nursing, I was really stressed out about school not only all the assignments but I thought maybe i was wasting money on something I didnt really want to do but my family and Jason had so much hope for me and they wanted to see me finish the program so bad so I never had the heart to tell them that I didnt really want to do it anymore. In the middle of all this I crashed my car and had to pay 2 grand to get it fixed.....oh did I mention I WASNT WORKING lol....so anyways minus all that mess Jan was an AMAZING MONTH....Living with my dream and lets just say it was a very BUSY MONTH ;) lol.....So Feb came around and I was waiting for my period and I new it was coming anyday because I had the worst cramps of my life! Well to my suprise about a week passed and I didnt get it...I AM NEVER LATE....Jason kept telling me to take a test but I kept telling him its just because im stressed and he kept telling me I was pregnant....so anyways I ended up taking a test and here we are me and my baby bump sitting on the computer typing this story! WE WERE VERY HAPPY...SCARED....EXCITED....NERVOUS....all at the same time! But we have stuck through it together with the love and support of each other and all of our family and friends! I couldnt ask for better support then Jason has given to me! Hes going to be such an amazing father!

Benji's first tooth is coming through on the bottom. It's so cute! But I hate to see him in pain, my poor little guy. How was your weekend?

Yeah, I was lucky not getting any stretch marks with Benji. My mom had 6 kids tho and didn't get a single stretch mark on her tum. I think it may be hereditary. There's photos of Benji's baptism on my profile! He looked like a little porcelain doll. Take care! Have a good weekend!

Same here! If I eat half a cracker, my tummy gets so bloated, I look 5 months preggo! I am always hungry too. It's so frustrating! I didn't get stretch marks on my tummy, thank godness, so I don't have that but I do have stretch marks all over my boobs (still) and they are looking a bit deflated from breastfeeding =( Oh well!

Have you had or will you have Oli baptised? We had Benji's baptism on March 30. It was so nice. He looked so cute! We made him wear a gown and bonnet! AW! He slept the entire time.

HA HA! NO! I have not lost all my baby weight yet! Before I was pregnant, I was 50 kg. (110 lbs.). Right now I am 54 kg. (118 lbs.), so I have 8 lbs to lose. I cannot get them off no matter what I do. I go to the gym, I run, I do an exercise DVD, I starve myself. I have a fat belly and tried sit ups too, it's still there. So frustrating! How much do you have to lose? Are have you lost all your weight?

Oh the juice. It's a apple/cherry juice, already diluted, made just for babies. I put 1 ounce in a cup and he drinks from a cup (with help of course). He loves drinking from his cup. It has handles on either side. He gets so excited when he sees it. I used to give him water but tried juice and he loves it. It keeps him hydrated, the weather has been really hot here lately.

Ha ha, his schedule fluctuates a bit day to day but that's what we follow. I read that babies like routine. I give Benji a bath at 1:30 pm because it's after his big poo of the day and it's after lunch (orange carrots all over his face!). If we are out all day and he has sunscreen on him etc. I will give him another bath at night. Since he's been born we have had a fan in Benji's bedroom too, to make background noise for him. He likes it. That's good Oli slept a long time last night. I used to give Benji veggies for dinner, but found he slept longer if I gave oatmeal (I think it keeps him full), so I have been doing it every evening.

7:30 wake up - feed 7 ounces
9:00 rice cereal, 1 ounce cup juice
10:00 nap
12:00 wake up - feed 7 ounces
1:00 veggies and fruit, 1 ounce cup juice

4:30 wake up, feed 7 ounces
7:00 oatmeal, 1 ounce juice
7:30 nap
8:00 wake up
9:00 feed 7 ounces
9:30 bedtime

We are very lucky with Benji. He is sleeping through the night but he has only been doing that for about a month. He goes to bed around 9:30pm and sleeps until 7:30am. My husband and I go to sleep around 11, so I get a good 8 hours or so. It is soooooooooo nice to finally be getting some sleep. It makes such a difference! I am sorry Oli isn't sleeping through, I know how you feel about being bitchy and exhausted. May be she is teething? Benji never took to a soother so he isn't used to one. We also have a strict day routine we stick to and I think it is important. My husband does help when he can but does not take initiative. He often does sit with Benji and play for a half hour and then hands him over to me or puts him in the swing. I think I do about 85% of Benji's care. I also do shopping, cooking, cleaning and laundry! I wish my hubby would help out a bit more. A break every now and then would be great! But Benji is such an easy baby and it is really a pleasure taking care of him. I know him like a book! The only thing is, he started hating his stroller. If I take him out for a walk, he screams his head off. Not sure why. So we just stay home, and it's a shame because the weather has been beautiful! Oh boy. What is a typical day for you?

I just got my period. It makes me a little bit sad but we aren't trying right now. We plan for next January! I think I might start taking the Pill. What do you think? Are you ont he Pill?

Hi there! Oli is 18 lbs too? Is she on solids yet? How's it all going? My Benji is a little butterball! As you can see for my profile pic, Benji is eating solids. He loves them! For Benji's 4 month shots he spiked a high fever for 2 nights afterwards. It was awful! How'd Oli do? We are going back to the US on March 19. This time to Texas (10.5 hour flight, ah!) But I know Benji will be an angel. I want to be pregnant again in October too, but my hubby wants to wait until we move back to the States to have another baby. It's a good idea but I want my kids to be close in age so they are good friends. Do you have names picked out for your next babies? So cool about your new house! You're so lucky! How's the hubby?

Good to hear that Oli is okay and didn't have to go to hospital! It's so scary when they are sick, isn't it? My heart breaks! We just returned home last night from New Jersey. Benji was an absolute angel on the flights going and coming. He's so good! Everyone in my family finally got to meet him, it was so much fun showing him off. He's a big boy now, he is 19 weeks old and weighs 18 pounds already. How big is Oli? I wish I could try for another baby now but I can't. I want a girl next b/c I want one of each. I love my little boy, I went crazy shopping for him the USA! So many cute outfits. I did not buy a single thing for myself. I still have about 6 pounds to lose and my boobs are still gigantic from breastfeeding so I don't want to buy any new clothes yet. Ha ha!

How've you been? Benji was starting to sleep 8 hours straight at night and feeding every 4 hours during the day. Then we both got really bad colds and he's up now at night every 4 hours. Yawn. It is NO FUN being sick and taking care of a sick baby! Olivia is so adorable! Are you trying for a boy next? TTYL - Sharon
