Monday, 7 April congrats on your baby riyley she so cute momoffive -
Monday, 7 April I know exactly what you are going thru. I had severe postpartum depression with my second child and very much felt that way. I used to have to put her in her crib and go sit on the door step with the front door closed because the sound of her crying made me want to shake her (don't worry I never did) I would just cry and cry because she didn't like me. I recomend talking to your dr. They will not think your a bad mother they will get you some help to deal with very strong, real, emotions. Feel free to send me a message any time. I have been thru it twice and although I've been having sad days I'm doing much better with this baby. hhall -
Monday, 7 April If you think she is fussy from gas, ask your doctor about "gripe water". our last baby was colicky from week one thru month 7, and the nurse at pediatricians office suggested it. Thank god she did, too because he was a different baby after that. It was so hard witht the constant crying, and i felt so terribale when I would get upset, knowing that he was hurting and I wasnt making it any better. I am currently waiting for our new little guy's first doctor appointment tomorrow to see how long we have to wait to use gripe water (how old he has to be). Take a deep breath--when she starts to smile it will all be worth it! niseybear -
Monday, 7 April Hey listen, I'm 38 years old and I get frustrated with my little man and I have much more patience than you I think because of my age. I'm sure I can tolerate things just a tad longer than you because I've been around awhile. LOL I find that when I get upset with my son when he just won't stop crying, it helps me to walk away for about five minutes and just breath. When I calm down it's easier for me to calm him down. Sometimes he just wants mommy to hold him, but I can't always do that especially if I HAVE to clean or cook. I've got several areas in the house I can put him, his swing, his activity center, his boppy, or his crib and usually after a few rotations, it will kill about 20 minutes for me which helps out a lot! Helps out even more when hubby is home and we can tag team! LOL Ask for help luv, there's no shame in it. Keep us posted. startingoverat37 -
Monday, 7 April Myangel relax and breathe while you hold your little one. They do sense tension. If you feel at all tempted to hurt her put her down and call for help. If there are feelings like that you do need to call your doctor. Baby Blues/ postpartum Blues is very normal. SOmetimes though you feel more than just sadness or you can't seem to get through it, then at that point you need some medication help and to talk with someone. There is no shame in asking for help. I had to. I went on zoloft about 10 days ago. Erin is 23 days. I just felt so much anxiety about her and life in general that I needed some help. I have 3 teens and they are not helping all the anxiety. SO MORAL HERE IS ASK FOR HELP!!! Just call your OB. ASHLEYPENNER84 -
Monday, 7 April i think that everyone gets frusterated now and then. babies can feel when you are frusterated/tired in your voice and body movements. if your calm usually they will calm down. patience is not something us moms get over night. i now have 2 sons and im learing patience till this day. when your baby fusses try sings gently almost in a whisper to her and rocking her! stop feeling like a bad mother!! Monday, 7 April my son doesnt have a bubble. his eye is always watery and sometimes the liquid turns greenish/yellow from the air. dr said its normal and it has to go away on its own. you can tell because when he crys only water comes out of the other eye. the one with the clogged tear duct doesnt cry. hope it helps lovefranky -
Tuesday, 1 Apr my baby always got air bubbles too. its safe to give her mylicon, or gas relief drops it is also for burps, air ext. i just burped him really good, switching her positions while burping breaks up the air easier because of the movement, sitting him up on my lap and then over my shoulder and back to the sitting worked the best for us. i hope this helps. my baby is 4 months and has never slept through the night! if i feed him and he falls asleep while eating and then i lay him down he doesnt sleep good because of the bubbles and he wakes up mad and then burps. Friday, 7 Mar I know what you feel I am 5 days past my due date and monday I get a NST and if everything is ok I get induced friday march 14th. they could not schedule me for wednesday because there is no rooms and thursday only at night ans the doc. did not want that because thursdays he has surgeries from 12 pm forward and I also don't want a tired doctor. so friday it is unless she wants to come early if not she will be evicted......ajaja.... lets hope our babys decide to come this week end. they say that when there is moon efect or something like, that it can send many women into labor and today there is a new moon so lets hope that does something for us. good luck and labor dust to you!!!!!! olga83 -
Friday, 22 Feb This is a general message to everyone who left a comment on my VIP page: I thought I would let you know that I have just posted a very detailed birth story on my VIP page. You can read it under 'olga83's children' in the top menu on my page. Good luck :) P.S. Thank you for your comment and congratulations :) I am sorry I cannot reply to everyone because with the new baby in the house I really have no time to log in long enough to reply to everyone :) Please let me know when you give birth by sending me private message. I would love to hear your story and see the pictures!!! armarrie -
