My profile
My name is Sarah. I am 30 years old and have been with my husband for 9 years. In those 9 years, I have had 11 miscarriages. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago and was told I would not be able to carry a child because of the cysts. I was put on birth control 2 years ago and in August of last year I was diagnosed with diabetes. I had to start taking Metformin which is a pill form of insulin. In December, I started bleeding through my birth control in the middle of the month and bled for 11 days. My doctor took me off of the BC pills on the 9th day of bleeding and I got pregnant the day after I quit bleeding. When I went to the OB at 6.5 weeks, I was told that the Metformin was given to women who suffer from PCOS to clear up the cysts and allow them to get pregnant and carry a child. This was beyond my wildest dreams to have a child of my own. Even though this is my husbands 7th child and we had no intentions of having any more after we adopted our 2 year old. It is a wonderful feeling to be through my danger zone of the pregnancy and please just pray for me that I stick in there. That is my story.
