Sounds like the hicks to me...lol. I feel the same way. It gets heavy (like a bag of potatoes in my tummy) and really tight. Doesn't hurt, just uncomfortable. Just your body getting prepared to respond to REAL contractions. Your uterus is doing 'false' contractions...lol. But trust me...you'll know when the real ones come.

You are welcome.. And Congrads to you.. Also wanted to tell you because you have already had a child these are more frequent to happen.

aboyd - Thursday, 4 Oct
all of that is completely normal. we will all have them from now until we give birth. It is just our bodies practicing for true labor. the only time you should be really concerned is if they get closer together and accompanied with pain. otherwise, i would not worry to much. after a while you will just be so used to them, you will kind of tune them out. I did that with both of my other kids. If they really bother you, take a walk and drink water while walking, they will go away.

Good luck!!

KTPUM - Thursday, 4 Oct
Yes, I have been having these also. It is normal as long as they don't continue one right after the other for a long period of time or if they are accompanied with pain.

Hi,
I also hurt my ankle and the pain went on for almost a year. Then I found a scenar therapist who fixed it in 3 appointments. It was amazing.

Umm...I would call and tell them what's going on to see if you need to go in. I sprained a tenden in my ankle several years back and thought it was pretty much nothing. It hurt, but I could DEAL with it. Others insisted I go and I had to get an air brace and cruches. It never hurts to call...

Try using an ace bandage or go to your doc and see if they can provide you with an air cast. I had one when I sprained my ankle last year and it made all the difference in the world!

Have u tried a heating pad or ice pack. If one dont work try the other, maybe u just brused it. But if its that much pain i would see your doc or just go to your local clinic.

ladybugmom - Tuesday, 2 Oct
Call your doctor about your ankle. You never know, it could be fractured. I hope that it feels better soon. been there, done that!

Thanks for your message - it is a comfort to know that I am not alone in feeling like this!!! I had the placenta previa with my first pregnancy anything you wish to ask feel free! Congrats and take care xx

AEONmommy - Saturday, 15 Sep
I had several dreams during my first pregnancy that my husband was cheating on me. One time I thought he was having an affair with a man! Of course he wasn't, but now I'm always scared that something will happen to him and I will be left with our kids alone!

mommyslove - Friday, 14 Sep
Yes, I have to say its normal. I too have been so insecure with my body & yet I love it. ??Go figure. I love it because Im forming a living child inside but I look at my husband (who we have always been fitness freaks) and I think geez-is he going to look at other woman now & why are we not having sex enough or why am I not getting as much attention?? I am, everything is the same its just our hormones are all screwed up girl. LOL Not to worry, your not alone! ;) Its all part of the pretty little package.

mykgirl, I'm afraid that the only sign I can give you to look for is that 'something's not right' feeling. If you get worried don't hesitate to call your Dr! I did and ended up with an emergency c-section. I knew something was up but I couldn't descirbe it to the any one so I didn't bother. Luckily my baby was okay! She was born at 31 weeks and weighed 4lb 2 oz. It turned out that I had some kind of infection...They never figured out what it was. The placenta previa experiences I had both turned out fine. My placenta replaced it's self before the end of my 2nd trimester in both. Just take it easy. Andwhether the Dr. told you or not I would stay away from any 'friendly' stuff between you and your hubby for now. ;) Just until you know every thing's okay. Good luck and eep me posted. I'd really like to hear from you after your next U/S

leschornmom - Wednesday, 12 Sep
Don't get your self upset over the placenta previa I've dealt with it in a couple of my pregnancies. As long as you take things easy and DON'T do to much yu should be okay. But take the BED REST thing seriously I almost lost one of my babie because I wasn't careful enough. It's serious stuff but things will probably be Okay!!! Good Luck!
