One more week of work! I cant wait, i'm exhausted and so tired of sitting in the same spot for 8 hours a day! Its unbearable. Yesterday my co-workers suprised me with a mini baby shower. It was so unexpected and wonderful. They collected so much money between them all and came up with the most wonderful gifts. One lady even hand made a little track suit for the baby with our company logo on it. I cant wait for the day i bring him in for a visit, he will have to wear his uniform. LOL. I am really going to miss these guys so much, an entire year without them will be hard.

Had my tour of the hospital today, its awsome! The birthing rooms are beautiful and so comfy looking. But now i'm more nervous about giving birth, its made it that much more real!

Had my baby shower yesterday. It went sooo well and i am so please with everything. I got so many much needed items. I am so thankful for my family and friends. My cousin threw my party, she is going to be Aidan's godmom and she did such an exellent job. They made a 3 tier (fake) cake out of diapers, it was amazing, i will have to post a picture of it in the next few days! I got just about everything i asked for and MORE!! few things my work is going to get me, but the rest of it i will be excited to go shopping!!

So, i just found out my moms best friend who has been in out family for 10+ years cannot make it to my baby shower on sunday. Her sister had leg surgery for the 2nd time and is refusing to go to rehab and needs someone there to help her with her kids and hubby has dissapered. Im not mad that she cant come because family comes first, i'm just devistated that she cant be there with me. She is coming to my work at lunch today to see me and i know she feels sooo bad about not being able to make it, and i know i'm going to cry when i see her because i'm at that stage now where most emotional things make me upset, and thats only going to make her feel worse.. Urgh, what a crappy weekend for her sister to decide not to rehabilitate her leg! But i am happy she is home with her kids, so something good comes out of it.

Had doctors appt today, everything is just fine. Aidan is head down now and messuring big, doctor is not concerned tho. The only thing she worries about is my weight gain. 43lbs so far, shes not very pleased with that. Blood tests came back, everything is better then perfect, although my immunity for rubella has wore off, and we seem to have a small epidemic of it going around. Cant get a shot until the baby is born..
Aidan had the hiccups for the first time yesterday, they lasted for such a long time i felt so bad for him.

Week 33 and 1 day. Im so tired and have been for the last week! I sleep enough, although it is painful. I'm also having some bad sciatic pain today, and some hip and pelvis pain that i have not experienced yet. Maybe baby is lowering or is now head down. Doctors appointment on wednesday will tell me forsure.

Girl don't you know it. Can't sleep, if you eat you'll catch heartburn, drink to much it feels like your insides are floating, don't eat enough the baby will kick you into space, then you'll be constipated, and so on, so on. I was doing fine in the 7th month then time decided that it wanted to stand still, did it for you?

Hi there, I'm sorry for your friends loss. I understand what it is like after suffering an Eptopic, M/C of twins at 12 wks and missed M/C at 8/9 weeks. The reason your friend has been asked to go back in regarding a previous test could be that her hormone levels are still high (which still could be an indication of Eptopic) or it may just be simply to retest her hormone levels to make sure that they are going down (but again in England they would only do that if an Eptopic was suspected). When I had my Eptopic I was 6 weeks pregnant which I misscarried, when they tested my hormone levels they were still raising and it took them two more weeks before they discovered that I had 12 week eptopic, however I did become very poorly with a fever and flu like symptoms and was being sick all the time. I hope your friend is ok and that it is just a simple blood test to check hormone levels but hope the info is useful. Shaz x

You will do great. Its amazing how natural motherhood and labor comes to you when you are in the moment. I can't wait. I love being pregnant but I'm ready to meet my little guy and get rid of these aches and pains! I have a feeling I will deliver at 38 weeks. We will see! Good Luck to you. :)

I have been having feelings like you mentioned in my lower belly too! Its kind of sudden and it hurts and then lasts for a minute or so. Happened all day yesterday. Very uncomfortable. I was wondering too if maybe he dropped or something.

About your friend. Most likely, it is nothing to worry about. There are many things it could be. They may have detected some abnormality in fetal tissue and are just following up- or they may just be checking to make sure her HCG levels are going down as they should. If she is not sure, she should just call and ask the doctor. Never be afraid to ask questions, they are working for you, and you have every right to know what tests they are running! Wish her luck for me. Its so hard to suffer a loss at any stage.

If this were just a tooth ache I would be okay but a root canal I had done a year ago got fractured and there is a "severe" infection through out my whole gum line now, the dentist (all 4 ) have said they have no idea how much pain I must be in! I have been on a antibitotic 4 times daily for 7 days and the pain is still here!! That is one nasty infection I have! I would give ANYHTING to not have this infection and go into labor on my own even if I had to wait 5 more weeks but unfortunately that is not the case! Good luck to you!

Thank you for all your help. Last night we actually broke up and I am having to move now :( My life has turned upside down in 21 weeks! I know everyone else has problems to...so not to pity myself..its just to hard to be pregnant and deal with everything else life brings you know?!?! Nobody else but you ladies on this website have a clue what its all about for me right now! And alot on this website are happy go lucky and have great husbands or boyfriends. how funny my ob is crazy to my lmp date is june 6 and according to my first sonogram at 11 weeks they changed it to july 4th and when i saw him last week he said the middle of june so im all messed up on his guesses he also said he has no idea if she is head down (this ob is in the top rated 100 for arizona ob/gyn board) so i told him i was getting a 3d us on may 9th & i will let him know 5/14 if she head dowm and since then she has really dropped(5/5) and is definantly head down almost couldnt get pictures of her face because she is so far down. i wonder what i am paying him for maybe to be a catcher in a couple weeks MAYBE.... I LIVE 2 HOURS FROM HIM AND that makes me uneasy due to his uncertainty on stuff . if the baby is small like my other kids she would measure small during an u]s .. & i could be due in 3 weeks and he will never be ready for it.. I have had bh contraction on and off for months and now im getting pains in my back like someone is hitting me with an electric cattle prod& i have had loose bowels for weeks with the cramps.,. I dont bother even tellin him because he said when my stomach is hard or i talk about cramps _ it means i have gas not that i am havin any contractions.. wish me luck my last baby was born with only 20 minutes of cramps/;labor -i thought i ate to hot of green chili and had to use the restroom & she was in such a rush she was born with her water still intacts around her head and they broke it when she was halfway here...lol

Well, yeah! I'd be freaking out! I thought everyone got ultrasounds a couple weeks before their baby was due to see what position it was in. How are they supposed to know if they need to do a c-section? Grrr...your situation is making ME frustrated!

hey ,,..i was just reading some of the recent comments and came across yours about the due date. Its not your Dr. at all. It is VERY hard to predict an EDD. ALWAYS go by the ultrasound. That is the most accurate. But remember, its called an "estimated due date" for a reason...lol....good luck and congrats to you!

Omg. That's so sad. I've had one at least every 10 weeks and I'll have one at my next appt and probably one more after that. Maybe my doc goes kinda crazy. Last time I was in there she sent me in for an unscheduled one just to figure out if he had flipped yet or not. What if they don't know what position he's in when you're in labor?

Just to let you know, I pretty much knew my baby was breech and could tell when he flipped into position. His head would push up against me and out-like I could actually feel his big hard round head pushing out. Now I don't feel it. I just feel lots of kicks. Also his hiccups moved further down when he flipped. But, I did have an ultrasound to confirm both positions about a week after I suspected them.

My mother too is very supportive and I know I would have support and my baby would have plenty of love! Except he is saying if I leave he will fight for custody and I really just DONT want to go thru all of that :(

I am working up until I go into labor. I am at work for 9 hours, but I work 8 hours. (Well my 1 hour lunch I do technically work, but it is for my own company that I do on the side.) I feel ya, I want so bad to sleep in, & start coming into work late, but I know it will affect my pay. I only make 2/3 from the state, and I need the whole thing until I go into labor...
