Wow!!! Things have changed!!! I found nothing like this 5 years ago when i was pregnant with my youngest...and, the maternity clothes these days look alot better too! Anyway, this is my 4th child.....and nothing short of a huge...let me say that agian...HUGE surprise!!!! We currently have 3 little girls...ages 9, 8,and 4..so, we are counting on another girl, and not going to find out. I am trying not to get very excited as this is my 5th pregnancy, and we only have the 3 girls...we lost one before our youngest, so we are looking at this SURPRISE child as nothing short of a blessing.

So, week 15 already!! Still can `t believe that i `m doing this again, but have finally gotten excited about the idea of a new little person in my life! Although it was a shock, and i feel guilty about some of the feelings I had when i first found out. Let `s face it, babies are always a blessing, no matter what the circumstances are, or what plans YOU might have had. This is just another example of `us ` thinking we have all the control in our own lives. I am thrilled that God has seen me fit to raise another one of His miracles. Truely, is there anything better than being a mother...i don `t think so!

FELT THE BABY MOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST NIGHT!!! I think he/she must like seafood!!! I got one good unmistakable kick, and then just some squirming for a good hour, and not much since...but looking forward to lots more...until it hurts at least!!! lol!! It `s cute now...but i remember what a good kick in the ribs feels like...not so cute!!! So, i will enjoy the cute little ones for now! Love taps....

had my checkup today...baby doing well! In fact, moving so much she had to chase it with the doppler, but finally got a heartbeat of 160! SO...question for you confirmed `boy ` mommies, what are your hearbeats running? Is there any truth to the 140 or below boy, 140 or above girl? What do you think? We aren `t finding out, so this is fun....Any input would be great!

Got a call from my midwifes office...turns out my AFP test came back showing signs of Downs or a Neural tube defect...won `t know more till next Tue. at my level 2 ultrasound...this will be a long week.

Well, today i write with happy news!! Our baby is not only perfectly healthy, he/she is also beautiful! We had our level II U/S yesterday, and all was well! Even better, we got a 4D U/S!!! It was completly amazing! I feel like I cheated and got to peak in the window and see our baby for the first time! My advise to anyone considering the AFP is DON `T!!!!!! What a stressful week it was! And the U/S told us so much more than that stupid test that kept me up for 7 nights! they also changed my due date AGAIN from the 15th to the 20th...but hey, i `ve got a healthy baby...so that `s fine, i will do week 19 over agian...:-)

Well, since the u/s last week, there have been some changes! All of a sudden, i woke up and my maternity clothes fit!!! I sure am pregnant now! (can `t wait to be weighed in! lol) And, Baby has been more and more active every day! And i can feel it! What a relief...now i can keep track of the little busy body!!!
