Hello, I am a stay at home mom of a wonderful little boy and am expecting boy #2 in late August. I can't wait to meet this little guy, I just wish we could decide on a name! An suggestions?

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Did you say 3lb 8oz? I hope not! That's tooo little! I hope you don't have mastitis, I've heard that's very painful. VERY. One girl I know was hospitalized for it. So I really hope that's not it. Be sure you're pumping when you get engourged or if your son isn't eating enough or skipping meals. That way you don't get mastitis. Even if you only express a little bit, manually (I hate breast pumps, would rather do it myself! lol) just to relieve yourself so you're not so full. I hope all is well though and you get better! Take care of yourself girl, b/c you can't take care of anyone if you're sick yourself! Take it easy! COngrats!!!! :)

It's very normal for them to sound like they are struggling to poop as their little muscles aren't very strong yet so it does take a lot of effort. If he is exclusively breastfed his poop should always be soft and it will stay that way until you add solids.

Hey girl!! Sorry it's been forever since I've been on here! I've had a rough couple of weeks! I went into labor all on my own on the 6th, it slowed down the next day, but they kept me anyways since I was scheduled for induction on the 8th, so I ended up having her on the 8th, we named her Miley Faith, she weighed 8lb, and was 21" long and was doing great, we thought, until we brought her home and she wasn't eating well, so went to the doc, and she her jaundice level was high so he put her under the phototherapy lights in the hospital for almost 2 days and after that (scary!) she did better---now she's crying for me to feed her so I'll get back to ya later!!! hope all is well w/ you too girl!! :)

Just don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions, that's what we're here for! There is a lot to learn in a short span of time and also every woman has such a different experience and different range of problems. It is so worth it though!! My son is almost a year and we're still going strong. I was only hoping to make it to 6 months and now I'm planning to continue until 18 months. It's crazy how having a child changes the way you feel about everything.

I agree with mommad, if you are having any kind of flu like symptoms or feel sick at all go to the doctor asap because the sooner you get on antibiotics the easier it will be to get it to go away and the faster you will feel better. You can also try taking hot showers and letting the water run on that breast and massaging it all the way to the nipple. Be sure to have baby nurse on that side as often as possible and have his chin point towards the clog (even if it means nursing upside down) :-). I had a clogged duct that didn't turn into mastitis and I was able to get it out with a lot of nursing. You can also use heat on that side before you nurse which might help to get it out. Good luck!

Go to the dr ASAP! Sounds like you could be starting with mastitis! I had it and it's awful. I felt like I was dying. Fever of 102 and flu like smptoms.

LOL girl, let me tell ya, I don't think it's possible to have any more midnight potty runs than I do already!! lol I keep bottles of water underneath my pillow and drink them everytime I get up in the night!! I get soooo thirsty at night w/ pregnancy it's crazy! Yeah, I get up to pee alot, but even on the RARE and FEW nights I don't drink much before bed, I still gotta get up and pee! I think it's all just preparation for when baby gets here. At least that's how it was w/ my last 2 girls, so I kinda welcome it in a way, if that makes sense b/c I know what to expect. I have no illusions about all the sleep I'll NOT get once she's here! LoL But speaking of sleep, I gotta get started sometime tonight! lol So you have a good night girl!

My amnio was done after the triple screen blood test...around 20 weeks I believe (there was a chance of down syndrome). We thought we were having a boy because of the US images but the amnio results said 100% girl. The US I had had prior were too early to say for sure if it were a boy...but I have heard that they do make mistakes.

LOL I wish that was a sign of labor...Ive been mad at everyone forever LOL. People annoy me on a daily basis anyways but it has been a bit worse over the last few days. I tried to reach out to someone and they apparently didnt care as much as I thought they did. Funny how "I love you" gets thrown around so casually. I let it go and gave up on it so I felt alot better the next day.
