We have heard our babys heartbeat 3x so far. We go 07/24/08 for our first ultrasound to make sure the babys health is good and growing like it should and hopefully we will be able to find out the gender. We already have names picked out for both sexes. It wasnt hard at all for us to decide. We have 2 beautiful names that carry a great amount of significance. If it is a boy, we'll name him THOMAS CLAYTON PHILLIPS. And if we're blessed with a baby girl her name will be KORIE REANNE PHILLIPS. We are hoping for a baby boy but will be just as happy with a girl. We just want our baby to be healthy! [=

We had tried throughout our 2 yrs of dating to get pregnant. It was off an on although we were never careful. Eventually we stopped trying all together, decided we would wait...Not long after making that decision, I realized I was 2 wks late for my period. We were both still in doubt bc our lives were very hectic and stressed at the moment and we chalked it up to a delayed period due to stress. Well, we figured what the hell just get the test just to be sure. We got a box that had 2 in it. I waited a few days just to see if I was going to start. When I still hadnt, I took the test one morning. When it read positive. I stood in shock. I didnt know how I was going to break the news to Andy or my parents. I knew Andy really wasnt ready. But to my surprise he was very excited for the news! [= Esp once his family knew and we werent hiding it. So my first symptoms were a 2 wk missed period, then the sore boobs, and then came the nausea! I had morning sickness all the way up to my 4 and a half month mark. An why they call it morning sickness beats me. Bc my sickness was day an night. Ive suffered from horrible migraines as well. But once I was getting close to my 5 month mark all my symptoms have subsided, exception for the sore boobs. Lol. My belly is getting huge. Im pretty big to be 5 months. haha. Im hoping its not twins. ONLY bc this is my first go round, i think twins would be a bit much. But I would manage if I was given twins. As I know some of you are wanting a home birth. Thats not for me, no thank you. I will be having my baby at a hospital - God willing we make there in time. And it will be medicated! lol. And NO we will not videotape it. Maybe 5 yrs or more from now we will have one more baby and then call it quits. But as for now, Id really like to enjoy this one! [=
