Hey girl! I had the same problem with my first baby. It was a painful, but I just kept my teeth as clean as possible. Anything will inflame them. I have worked in a dental office for 8 years (quit last year)and have seen this more times than I could count. It is very common in preg women. I started brushing 3 times instead of 2 a day and also garling with listerine(WILL BURN at first, it gets better) really helps tremendously.

I really hope it all gets better. Oh, were your gums seperating from your teeth? mine were, but it did get better! NOw I have no problems. Also, they say that you need more vitamins if this occurs, but if you are taking your prenatal vits, you cant take more than that.

If you go to the store&buy Red Cross toothache medicine from one of your drug stores,it stops the pain on contact.It's the same thing a dentist uses for sever pain,a dentist told me about it after I got my wisdom tooth pulled&ended up w/a dry socket.The box has a picture of a red cross on the front of it!

my gums are inflammed too! I saw it on the internet that it is called a pregnancy tumor. it just grew over night and is very sensitive. it said it would go away when the baby was born, but if you have it removed.. it could come back.were you told that??

Thank you so much! Enjoy your little man and know that there is still hope for a little girl! You are going to fall head over hills in love with your little guy the second you see him! I wouldn't change having my the guys for the world! And boy are they mama's boys! I am just so happy I am gong to have both now. I am a shopper as it is but watch out now! My poor husband... :) Do you have a name picked out yet? I am having a really hard time for some reasion.

i too, have three boys and the one i am carrying now is a boy too. i feel as if i am denying my husband of the little girl he has wanted. especially since his sister just had a little girl 3 weeks ago. we have decided we are done though. i just hang on to the thought that God knows what we need and and that we need more Godly men in this world. trust me you will start bonding with your baby. i am just thankful he is doing ok because we have had a hard time so far.

I can relate! I have 3 boys!!! LOL We are really really hoping for a girl this time around. We are having our next ultrasound this friday. So hopefuly we will find out. But I am really nurvous about it! Because I know I will feel disappointed if it is a boy also. This is our last baby. We said that last time but this time we are done! You are not a bad person. Boys really are great though. They really LOVE there mom. I wouldn't trade my 3 boys for the world. Everything works out the way it should. Congratulations on your little guy~!
