October 15th~

It seems like forever since I have been able to really catch up on here! Having 2 under the age of two has been very demanding on my time. My 14 month old is at the babysitters right now, so I thought I would try and catch up! Colin had a hard time at first adjusting to having a baby in the house, but now he has become a great big brother. he is no longer trying to poke her eyes out, but is now patting her head and holding her hand. It is really cute.

Meighan is a real doll. She had a bitof colic, but has settled down quite a bit. She's a good eater and took to the breast right away. She is sleeping well, too! We are so lucky!

June 7th~

Baby is getting so active! I am almost at the point where I am done being pregnant. I have been pregnant for almost 2 years straight and am ready to have a life pants with buttons and being able to see what my shoes look like! My blood suhars have been doing well and have been well below what the doctor is looking for. I am sticking to the GD diet....mostly, but do allow mysellf to have a few treats here and there. I am so looking forward to meeting my little princess!

May 3rd~

My doctor appointment was yesterday. Gained 7 pounds! He said that it was ok, but to watch what I am eating. Baby's heartbeat was great, and I measured at 22 weeks. I asked my doctor about the ultrasound and he assured me tht his tech would not tell me the baby's sex if she wasn't sure. He also said that he looked at the results as well and said she was a she. Yippy!

We have it narrowed down to two names, Meaghan and Gwendolyn. Half the family is for one and the other half is for the other. Middle name will be Harlow, my husbands mother's maiden name.

My mother has just stold us that she will be purchasing the baby's nursery furniture, so that was a nice surprise. Well, nt really,a s she did that for my last as well. Now we just have to pick out the set for the crib... there are SO MANY more choices for girls then boys! We had it easy with the last one...we chose a sports theme and have tons of Red Sox and Patriot things in his room, but with girls there are so many things to chose from!

May 1st~

So, I have my doctors appointment tomorrow. I am so excited to hear her heartbeat. I really would like to find out when my next ultrasound is, as I am worried about if she is really a she! After reading all the stories for you ladies, I am a bit worried that she might be a he! Though it was quite obvious that she was a girl..I do not want to buy pink and need to take it all back!

April 2nd~

So, we went to the doctor's for the ultrasound and we got ana amazing surprise...18 weeks! Not having a period made it difficult for us to calculate, sthey started with the internal ultrasound, but quickly changed over to the external whent hey saw how big the baby was!

The baby looked really good and active and...we found out that it is not an it...but a girl! We are so excited! that is what my husband and older son really wanted, i just thought I'd have another boy...so all this blue I have will be pink!

March 25th~

Going to the doctor tomorrow to hopefully find out the due date. We are so excited. We were freaked out at first, but now are so happy. My husband really wants a girl, and I have no preference. I had wanted a girl with the last one, but after about a second, it didn't really matter. I am so excited that I may see my little 'shim" as we call the baby...it is just not a good term!

March 13th~

Starting to feel a bit on the queezy side. My husband caught me in the shower having a bit of morning sickness and just shook his head...so it begins! We have told our family about the news and they seemed to respond better than we imagined. We haven't told the 9 year old yet as we want to wait until we have a due date to give him. He keeps asking if I am ok as he can see that I am not feeling too well. He's very smart...I think he really knows! My pants are getting tighter and I think I will be wearing the maternity clothes shortly...ugh!

March 11th~

I just found out yesterday that I was pregnant again. I stopped nursing about a month ago, and still did not have my period. My check up was on Monday and they gave me a test...SURPRISE...baby on board! We have to wait until March 26th to find out the due date because we do not have a period to go by.

Thanks for replying. I agree, Andrew David is very nice together. The only reason I don't want David is bc it is my step son's middle name, my h's uncle and great uncle's names, and my cousin's name. There are too many already. I think it's weird to have two siblings with the same name, even if one is a middle name and the other is a first name.
Andrew is the best name ever! it's classic, never goes out of style, and there are a few nick names for it. Andrew sounds powerful, stong and masculine.

Any thoughts on a girl's name with three syllables? We have Stephanie Marie and Allyson Rebecca already. We need something that suits them.

I must get some sleep. I have to get to the ob in the morning. take care.

Thanks!

Congrats I wish you the best of luck. That was a BIG fear of mine is not to have our Dr deliver us. I've had the same Dr since I've ever seen a female Dr. Not only that but, I've been in a delivery room with him and he's great. It's my first time and to have someone your comfortable with means a lot.

I waver between peace, anxiety, and impatience! I do know that the calmer you are the better your labor is, so I'm really trying to keep that in mind. That'll probably go out the window with my first real contraction...lol!

I just ate so much spicy chili...yummy homemade kind. Who knows...maybe I'll go into spice induced labor...just kidding!

What are you doing this weekend?

adriennella - Sunday, 17 August
I read your post. I'm sorry that you're having a tough time. I promise that we're nearing the finish line and that it will all be worth it very, very soon.

I can really see her doing that. Some of the things she does and will say is horrible. She told me mom she wants us out of the picture so her mom could go back to her dad... after begging apart for 25 years. She blames me for not being close to her dad. I don't like it, I've talked to her about it and told her I just hope it's not like this with our kids. Sometime I can't stand it because I'll be nice because I don't want issues or hurt my parents but, sometimes I would like to tell her to huge off.

Just keep telling me that we're close, because this week, I feel soooooooooooo far away! Rose's room is right by the bathroom, too. Well with 800 square feet, I think that everything is right by the bathroom!

Your message made me smile! Wednesday is my next appointment and my anniversary, so let's hope that's a good day for both of us.

I never knew why my friends said that they wanted their bodies back during pregnancy until now. I always thought it was a vanity thing. Now, I get it. It would be nice to pee when I want to (not when her head demands it), to be able to pick up things off the floor, and not to make noises when getting up off the couch. I swear I say OOF all the time now! Geez.

Belly buttons are just so funny any way. It's great that yours does tricks! How are you today?

Thank you.=)Good luck to you too!

LOL That's funny because I can't stand my name lol. It's so different and everybody butchers it, even if it's only 5 letters long LOL. I was suppose to be Tatiana Nadja, but they reversed it, o well lol. Nothing I can do now, but live with it haha. I guess it's just one of those things, like when you have curly hair you want straight and if you want straight hair you want curly, if you know what I mean lol. Have a great day!

Haha! Thank you for the lacto feedback. I figure if she breastfeeds fine, the pacis aren't going to stop her if I give it to her for a day. If I see a problem, I'll just stop the paci. I just went to a fancy baby boutique asking for pacis (I was there anyway). The girl said, "Oh no, We don't believe in pacifiers here." HA! I just got myself a sexy, sexy maternity belt instead.

LovingMommy - Tuesday, 5 August
Is your name Nadja? So is mine, what a rarity!!

adriennella - Tuesday, 5 August
I'm sorry! I just read that you have a migraine. I hope you feel better very, very soon.

adriennella - Tuesday, 5 August
why did you get meds?

adriennella - Monday, 4 August
Oh no, hope you feel better soon and the headache goes away. Let me know what happens at the doc's.

If you need a good shocking laugh, go see the comments left by pyromommy on my page. There are three. They've probably moved to page 2 by now. FUNNY!

adriennella - Friday, 25 July
Oh my gosh, there's a million ways to make a gorgeous baby room! I can't wait to see yours. I see so many I love, and no two are the same.
