yeah i cant imagine how hard it would be on you. What if you ask to set your c-section date a little earlier? or you could try natural induction methods? when is your husband leaving for lebanon?

nothing like a father and his baby. i was an emotional mess until last night when i watched the two of them. all seemed right in the world. also, today our priest came and blessed her. he spent a bunch of time just talking with me. i also met the lady who is in charge of the nicu family support group. that should be nice too once we are home. looks like she will be here for about a month. it is going to be weird going home without her, but i can get so much done. i am off of work, not pregnant, off bed rest, and my baby is in good hands.

DOC said it is normal for it to spike when i am in pain. i just have to watch my pain level and take my meds. it went down after i took pain med and high bp med. down this morning. had great time with lillie last night. she had some daddy time. posted the pics. very sweet. i am staying at the hospital another night. my ins still covers my stay.

Salam Nadia! wow things are moving very fast for you. I wouldnt wait to long at home just because of my actual experience this time around. I was only in the hospital for 45mins before i gave birth. Esp. since ur having a c-section.....yallah InshaAllah everything will go fine with you....keep us updated

it's not that far, but still i wish we were together. i just went and saw her. can't stop crying. you have to scrub up and be clean, yet i keep crying and so my nose runs. i am a mess. i can't keep crying!!!

lillie is great, her mom is not. i feel like a wreck. the c-section went better than expected, but i am depressed. i don't want to go home without her. i dread leaving. let me know how you are doing and if anything happens with those contractions. i miss pregnancy already. maybe it would be different if i was at home with my baby girl. i posted some more pics, should have some good ones tonight. getting ready to go feed her with my hubby. can't wait to see her as always.

well, i think you should just relax and let your body do its job. the baby is probably not ready quite yet to make his big entrance. but i am sure those contractions are thinning your cervix. try to rest and listen to nice music because when the real contractions start they will start 5 min apart and strong right away, cause you will be in phase2 of labor..

hi sweetie... hang in there, you are almost there... i know how tough those last days are. if you are losing your plug it means you'll have the baby no later than 3 days after. and those contractions are a sure sign.. the last 2 days i was having braxton hicks A LOT. i hope you have a quick and easy delivery. you have to keep me posted.. i will check your page every couple of hours. good luck, just think you will meet your baby real soon! and about your husband i hope his dad doesnt suffer but i really think you should come to lebanon too (i am just being selfish here) lol

oh my! i can only say to trust your motherly instincts! doesn't hurt to go to the hospital. better safe than sorry right? i wish i would of gone weeks ago. maybe they would of caught this earlier. even if husam was born early he should be in the clear. my baby girl has strong lungs, just small. i bet he will be just fine. or they will send you home. either way, never hurts to go and see what the experts say. let me know what happens. thank god for wi-fi in hospitals. i get to talk with you guys while my hubby sleeps. glad he is here with me. take care.

the one with her on my chest we were doing what is called 'kangarooing.' very important for little babies. the skin on skin contact and body temp is so soothing. she just nestled in and fell right asleep. how are you and husam? by the way, we still haven't named our girl! my hubby is in charge and can't decide! all of the nurses are making up their own names. we look like slacker parents.
