i am so glad i trusted my maternal instincts that something was wrong. doc said she wouldn't of made it much longer. glad we got her out. her heart was stopping all last night when she was in the womb. that was scary. she is doing so much better out instead of in. got to trust your gut, glad i did. so sleepy. she was born at 1:32 a.m. long two days.

i had her! she wasn't doing to well, but she will be ok. i am at the hospital now. she wasn't getting what she needed, prob with placenta. she is in nicu, weighed 2 lbs 15 oz. i will uptade soon, having trouble typing with all of these cords.

hope it all goes well hun.....i will be praying for you waiting and inpatiently on hearing from you the great news....is it hard to know that you will be having your baby on that actual day or do you think not knowing unexpectedly is better....because i think i would prefer to know so i can prepare myself emotionally for it....:)

no, my baby doesn't move too much. doc said not to worry, but i do. she just wiggles on occassion. no kicks in the ribs or anything. feeling ok today. it is cold here, so it was easy to lay around in bed. i have a fireplace in my room so i stayed nice and toasty. i wish i could be up doing things, but i know that isn't a good idea. i took my bp med today and it makes me sleepy. hope to take one before bed and it knocks me out. i did read one of the side effects of the med is that it is not recommened for breast feeding mothers. i wonder if my doc plans on keeping me off of it before i deliver. i need to talk to her about that.

oh, one other thing... i can't sleep anymore. didn't sleep last night. now i am on the laptop in bed, hubby snoring and it is about 11pm. i don't even feel tired. just can't stop thinking about the baby. getting so excited.

you look like you are all set! i have (or my hubby has) do much left to do. glad we still have time. i am so jealous of your bassinette! i have one, but you can't breast feed in bed. my was a hand me down and sets up too high. i want one of those! your little girl is so cute! love those pics!

Thanks, that means alot to me. i guess we should all be doing that for each other. no big news today. bp was still high and she thinks that it is increasing daily. she told me to start taking my bed rest seriously and put me on bp med. i am to take the med until tuesday and then she is going to see if it made a diff. if not, we will schedule an induce date. baby still sounds fine and i am not dilating yet. did a strep test today too. totally forgot to ask about baby's size or my weight gain. i think i was way to focused on the bp. so, i am now back in bed. oh, and my hubby bought the baby furniture today! that was exciting. we are getting carpet in her room friday, then he will put the furniture up. very exciting. so for now, that is it. sounds like it is bed rest for me till she gets here! take care and thanks for prayers.

hi nadia, lol about the chook i havent heard of it no but sounds about right i heard so many from my mum and grandma so hard to keep up with them, buss takeram 3einek if its chook, chook it will be if i name my new baby yasmine..even better yet lets change it to chocolates..yummy, housam is a lovely name (my oldest brother is husam and my brother in laws name is also husam as well) (you owe me 2 chooks.....lol)...good idea about connecting the names thing maybe thats where i should start....is this name web site link here a good one..i will go check it out now....how are you feeling so far you dont have much to go before you know it you will have baby hosam in your arms.....do you know if you will be having a c-section or will you be doing natural birth? either way i hope it all goes smoothly for you....

i just found this web site its cool to be able to chat to all pregannt and not women all over the world ....im originally from lebanon living in sydney (australia)...im on my 5th pregnancy the further im getting the more its becoming hectick....i dont know what im having but im hoping it will be a girl....for my daughters sake as i grew up without a sister ..also if anyone has a good list of girls names my husband and i havent decide on any names as yet (we have 1 for a boy) and i dont want this one to go through what my amaani went through she stayed week & 1/2 without a name and everyone in the family wanted an input i want to advoid this.....reason being we were shocked to have her as im an only girl and my husband has no sisters so imagine shes the apple of our eyes.....we couldnt decide on a name until i got on the net and found the name Amaani which means wishes and inspirations.....i love your daughters name yasmine shes such a cutie... i think i might add this on my list for girls names.....wishing you all the best with the birthing....by the way your eldest looks like your sister i think its great...:)

bed rest is hard. i am doing pretty well. i get up for a minute or two then take a long break. sounds like you need to be resting too! if you are having bh, pain and swelling you should take it easy. we are down to one month or less! i find out on wed if it will be less. if she is going to induce she will hopefully set the date wed.

Thanks and happy holidays to you too... i have been busy as usual. working, taking care of the kids and especially Mark. i am still nursing and loving it. id did not start solids yet but when i go out (we have way too many dinners to attend) he takes the bottle a bit. kiana my almost 3 year old is jealous i think because she wants me near her all the time... i think yasmin will go through the same thing.
almost there, yay!!! you are one of the very few friends that are still preggo.. i can't wait to see your baby (now dont wait too long for the update after your csection..) i am sure i will be very anxious... take care. are you all done with the baby shopping? the baby's room? did you buy that bed to put in your room?

mashaAllah your kids are lucky to have you! how did you breastfeed when you were in public? that is what im having troubles with! coz im wearing abaya, i cant really find any abayas that are nurse-friendly. So i'd have to lift up my entire abaya to breastfeed lol! it makes it hard to go out anywhere, but im starting to go crazy inside the house all day long! less than a month till your c-section date mashaAllah! how exciting, time flies so in no time you'll have your baby boy in your arms!
