Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

im the same way! my baby shower's this upcoming saturday and i'm freaking out that i'm going to have a million things to buy afterwards and only one things been bought on my registry and it's something i forgot to take off because i already have it. i was so worried i called my grandma who's putting it on for me and told her i was worried about it and she said she knew for a fact that her sisters have bought me things off the registry but it hasn't shown up yet and that other people she's talked to have bought things that weren't on the registery so don't worry ;] you'll get everything you need for your little nugget.

I'm a plus size mummy as well. I am 5"10 and started at 254. I was worried cause I was loosing weight here and there. I have now gained 6lbs. Everytime I go to the doctor he tells me he is that I am doing so well with my weight. What people need to understand is that when you are a plus size mommy, we already have the "habitat" for a baby. We have extra padding so we may not show as much. Its the baby that gains the weight, not us. The baby is consuming the fat that we already have in our bodies. Don't listen to what people say...if there was any issue your doctor would have said something. The way I look at it...we only have a couple of pounds to loose after the baby, not 25 like others will have to.
Godd luck and best wishes on a healthy bundle of joy

you've only gained 4 pounds?!?!? Your supposed to gain 20 25 pounds by your 30th week.... As for not having BH yet... Every pregnancy is different.

You have to talk to a doc. your job CANNOT be healthy. i experience pelvic pain all the time too and cannot imagine adding all of the physical requirements of that job. I am amazed that people can sit back and watch you do all that. I am so sorry!! Hang in there.

Talk to your doc about it... (don't know where you live) I live in CA and am a server where we lift HEAVY trays above our sholders... with my first I had to work until 36 weeks and then was allowed to go on short term disablilty. With this pregnancy I started experiencing sharp pains while lifting early on... so my doc signed me out of work on disability at 24 weeks. I've been on it ever since and will be until 6 weeks after birth and then another 6 weeks paid family leave. Just talk to your doc... hopefully they'll be sensitive and let you leave work now! good luck.

Im not sure where you live, but in canada you Dr can recommend that you take medical leave if the requirements of the job are too physically demanding for you and your baby. Ask you doc what he thinks! But no job is worth putting your health or your babies health at risk!! i cant believe you have to do all of that lifting by yourself at 30 weeks!! Thats nuts

hey, i have been diagnosed with spd too - its horrendous, and no they cant expect you to work in the same conditions as b4. Im in the uk so if ur in usa or canada etc im not sure on ur rules but in the uk work can start your maternity leave 4 weeks before your due date if you have pregnancy related time off. IM 28 weeks and working but its an office job but its extremely painful and im hoping to finish work soon. g. luck x

I had clips put on my tubes in 1999, had them cut out and my tubes repaired in June 2004. End of July 2004 I was pregnant with my beautiful 3 yr old, Mallory.

We went to the New Orleans Fertility Institute...which I think is closed down now since Katrina. I live in South Mississippi so it is only like an hour away. The area where the institute was flooded. Dr Stephen Taylor did my surgery.
