38 wks and 4 days!!!!! Oh my god!!! I cant believe we have come this far!!! his head is 3/4 engaged, but today feels like he could be fully engaged! spent last nite in so much pain and discomfort, i couldnt talk let alone laugh! (Grayham Norton was on!!) he was wriggling so much down into my pelvis it was bringing tears to my eyes! the sharp niggles in my cervix was really strong 2 nites ago which i leaked a bit after! and woke up this morning to rather damp pants! havent had much all day though! seems to have stopped! cant believe how low my bump is! ive noticed more today as my seat belt when im driving doesnt get under enough, and my ribs arent so sore anymore! have bought the last and final thing for our little arrivel! the only thing now is 2 small 7mm nuts that some how vanished in the attic!! that goes on the crib? still have emense heart burn!! the nerve hes resting on in my butt is still (if not worse!) giving me jip! as soon as i get in a certain position for more than 5 mins im stuck there in agony!! cant sleep, cant get comfy in the evenings, cant walk upstairs without needing to sit at the top! my back is really achey, and his butt or his knees are pushing or stetching against my tightened skin so much it feels like a sore broise or burn and it can stay there for hours! im having words with this young man when he finally arrives!! which is starting to dawn on me!! what if he gets stuck like lily? what if it draggs for hours?!! my friends just had her 3rd and from 1st contraction to last push was 3 hours!! i dont think im that lucky!! what if it comes out a girl!! have no name prepared no pink clothes washed?!! watch this space!!!

39 wks & 4days OMG!!! I am sooooo tired! i havent slept in 2 days now, cant seem to stay asleep when i get to sleep? my eyes are so puffy and i look like a washer women! ive had loads of strong early labour contractions on and off for a few days. Had some water loss waiting with the other mums at school, which got everyone all excited, but disappointed when i turned up this morning still pregnant!! my feet have blown up like there being pumped!! they take the shape of what ever sandels im wearing!! Bob has settled down so much!! he gives a small move every so often, just when im thinking i havent felt him move in a while he moves!! but the sharp wriggels and niggels have carmed down loads which is good as im comfyer in the evenings. Cant believe im due in 3 days? its strange!! but it has dragged alot! im just so upsetting and depressing myself at the thought of being over due! again! i dont want to go 1 day over, im so uncomfortable and tired, im worried im going to have to be induced AGAIN!! i just wish i could go into labour naturally to just feel what its like! not wired up and pilled up!! would like to go in to labour at home so i can focus on me, the task ahead and relaxing before the trip to hospital. everything is ready and waiting. crib is up and ready, bags are packed, all clothes and lining are washed and ready, just need the little monster to use it all now!!

40 wks 1 days havent slept in a few nites now, very tired and emotional, want this baby now!!!! still have a horrible cold and feet are swollen loads!! had a good clean out in the car!! its spotless!! still have had no signs of labour!

40 wks 2 days Slept better last nite, had midwife today, BP 110/70 and babies heart rates good. hes defo engaged! Have been booked in for my induction on Sunday the 20th @ 8am. they asked if i wanted a membrane sweep next week!!! i laughed and said i dont think so!!! but she said to think about it and not everyone is the same (ie. cervix mite not be to the side this time!!) so mite not be as painful as the last time. could also work this time too!!! mite go through with it, would be gutted if it could have worked and i hadnt tried!! oh this is sooooo depressing!!! i dont want to be induced again!!!!!

40wks & 5days Had a full nite of randoms contractions last nite from about 7pm till 2am they were different in times and strengh!! 30mins to 5 mins to 20mins and some were really strong. but now next day 11am nothing!! dont know if that was the carm before the storm!!? but have heard this from many people, so confidence is back!!! but hopes arent to high yet!!

41wks & 1day ok so have had nothing since the nite of contractions friday nite? we tried sex last nite and i had a Madras and a hot bath (very hot for me!!) but nothing not even a braxton hicks!!! hes also started moving loads again after a week of carmness? got midwife tomorro am going to try a stretch n sweep!! am more focused on sunday now!!

41wks &4days OK still pregnant!! 11 days over due now!! had the midwife round yesterday morning and she did a stretch and sweep, i was 2cm and she managed to stretch me to 4 cm. she said my cervix is thick but soft and stretchy!! had a small show too and some further brown discharge through out the day! had lots of niggles and contractions but very mild ones so had a hot bath to end the day with hoping that would bring on harder contractions.............. but nothing!!! have definetly come to the conclusion that my labour cant start with out any help so sunday it is!! 8am!! hope they can see to the pessary as soon as, and i dont have to hang around all day for a room to become free like last time!! would be just my luck if i have to sit about till gone lunch time for them to get round to me!! am not looking forward to it!!

41wks &6days He's FINALLY here!!! 13 days over due, last nite i couldn't stop thinking about the fact i will again be induced and felt very low, but then again felt relief and nerves for the day ahead. i had expected the same as when i went in with Summer, it was really busy and we had to wait from 8am till 2pm for a delivery room to become free for my induction to start, it was a long and tiring day, so to go into labour in the early hours and to get strong close contractions from the off was a great relief and pleasure!! please read my birth story in my blog.

As of now he's 4 days old and ive been breast feeding him as well as giving him formula milk, as my nipples are very sore and swollen i have loads of milk!! my boobs are full to bursting!! but as soon as hes latched on im in extreme pain!! I have finally said enough to breast feeding, i would have loved to get through it and carry on but its to painfull and has been getting me down. i have had the 3rd day baby blues too my stitches hurt and my piles are hanging!! Oh the joys of childbirth!!!
