I did it...I'm 30 and I'm finally gonna be a mom! It took my husband a while to convince me to get off birth control and a year to actually get pregnant, but we're here! The first test sent me into complete shock but now I can't wait until our son Max gets here. I never really wanted children nor did I want to be pregnant...until Max started kicking around inside me. Now I finally realize what the big fuss is all about. It's the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced.

A little about myself....I met my husband almost 8 years ago when his sister introduced us. I fell for him our first date. There is honestly no one for me but him. He's been there for me through my struggle with my anorexia and he's still here. We bought our first house 2 years ago and he's been wanting to have a baby since the day we signed the papers! I have a great job, that I love, as a bookkeeper in an office full of 4 great girls. I really have the life I always hoped I would...a man I am completely in love with and a child to complete our family.

I guess you know it's time to have a baby when everyone around you is ecstatic. This will be my dad and step mom's first grandbaby. They've been pushing us to have children even before we got married! I think the only thing we will have to buy for Max is diapers!!! The love and support around me from my husband, friends and family is what keeps me pushing thru to stay healthy for me and Max...Pregnancy and anorexia don't really mesh well but I'm doing it.
