Oh! It is so nice! I am happy to hear that you are enjoying sharing this time so well with your daughter. She's got street cred, the way she talks--Listen to her! "my sister dada" (Like the junior version of "my baby-daddy"!) hahaa My girl is testing daily to see how well her arms reach around me. She's preparing for the day that she expects to come when we'll have to resort to "air-hugs." I can still lift her for a big hug, but she has to straddle my belly. She loves thinking about how she's squishing Petunia's (probably 'Nora' in December) head. Even though it's more likely her tush.

Hello. How are you feeling as we head into the weekend? Is your daughter enjoying your tummy? Today mine gave me a morning hug and laughed b/c she got kicked. She said, "Petunia must be tap dancing in there!"

thank you for your answering my question. i stopped breastfeeding my 12 month old at 3 or 4 months. I am worried that if i express too much or even pump that i wont have enough colostrum for the baby once it is born. :(

Thanks for thinking about me. I haven't been to the dr yet to talk to him again much less have time to try to get pregnant this month. Hurricane Gustav hit right where I live. Evrything has been so messed up and so busy. Its been two weeks since it hit and I just got power back yesterday. I was almost done with my cycle of clomid when the storm came but of course I didn't take them all bc I would forget with all the stress. Well I will have to get back on track next cycle! Hope all is well with you! Talk to you soon!

I'm so glad to hear that you were able to rest a bit and are feeling better. Sounds like you've been staying fairly active, which is generally quite good! Sliding into the third tri, I have those tightening sensations more often now, esp following exertion. No pains, but it makes you wonder what's going on in there.

Today I tried out some strollers and car seats at the baby store. It all came flooding back to me--Pregnant belly, and wrestling with this equipment, which does not always fold/unfold in a logical way...There were a few times when I just plain had to sit down, and I did get one stroller-induced B-H! As I was getting ready to leave, a store associate finally asked if I needed any help. (Too late) I said, well, "I could use a back rub..." Seriously. They should plant a seated massage station right next to those strollers and charge $10 for 10 min. Anyway, no decisions made. Just gathering impressions over there.

HI there. How are you feeling today? Were you able to get any rest?

mariettap - Tuesday, 9 September
Good girl! Take nannersmama into consideration while you're at it, ok? Bother the begeezes out of them. that's what you've hired them for. I'll be around tomorrow. Goodnight.

I went into the docs today for contractions, and the jerk of a doctor I saw (not my doc) told ME that it was just cramping without even hooking me up to any monitors... I am still having some (although they have slowed down) But if they don't stop by tomorrow I am going to get a 2nd opinion to the jerk I saw today.
Are you still having any tightening or contractions? If you are (and if they don't bother you too much tonight, if they do don't wait to call) I would call the office tomorrow and go in and get checked it doesn't hurt anything to have reassurance. They can check you to make sure you're cervix hasn't changed and do a fibronectin test that will show if you have any of the hormones that show you might go into labor soon. Now if you do have more of them tonight, I would call your physican's answering service and talk to your doc and let them make the call on what they want you to do... The way I thought of it is its better to go in and find out nothing was going on then wait and it be too late for them to stop labor and to have a baby in the NICU cause its so early. Let me know how things go!
