Tuesday, 9 September I'm trying to think--What would my team tell me? They'd tell me to do exactly as you have done: light snack, drink something, lie down, and it should subside. But that last part doesn't seem to be happening for you. And you say tears-in-your-eyes painful?? Continuing while resting on your side? OK, so what if it's the oddest presentation of B-H ever? Well then your doc has the opportunity to educate his/her patient in the nuances of B-H management and will rest well knowing that he made a contribution to your wellness tonight. Please just call. Any time I have ever voiced concern that I didn't know if I should call about x,y,z, they have always hushed me, saying that's what we're for, and we have plenty of patients, even non-pregnant ones, who need to call after hours with their concerns, it's not all about labor, etc. They want you well. And so do I :) Hugs mariettap -
Tuesday, 9 September Oh, I'm sorry you had that happen to you yesterday--You went out for a walk to feel WELL, not to feel crushing abdominal pains! And, well, I can't think why a medical resident would apply for a specialty residency in OB if they didn't want to hear from their patients. raiche6258 -
Tuesday, 9 September I would call your doctor, that's what you pay them for. I remember calling my doctor at 2 in the morning during my first trimester because I had one of the many signs of a miscarriage and it was a really vague sign that could mean anything. melissao -

Friday, 5 September not a dumb question, silly. It looks like many people here have been told different things by their docs. My midwife gave me written instructions to fast from midnight on (they make every effort to make it an early appt). They added that you _could_ have coffee or tea with nothing added, and could have eggs with nothing added, b/c they're carbohydrate free, and can give you the energy boost you need without throwing off the lab work. I'd be interested to hear what your people say. maggiedee1002 -
