Oct 29th
Had my midwife appointment today. Everything was good. The heart beat was 155 only gained a pound since my last appointment. Can't wait untill November 13 for my ultrasound to find out what I am having. I am guess a girl.

Today I went for my ultrasound. Everything was great baby weights 9 oz. and is 5.5 inches. Cound't find out what it is. Guess I will have to pay for an ultrasounds now to find out what it is.

Went for my ultrasound today and found out it was a boy. I was so wrong I thought it was a girl.
Jan 29th (30 weeks)
Had my midwife appointment today. Everything was good measuring 32 weeks but she said that was fine. His heartbeat was 145. I also took my GD screening today I will be keeping my fingures crossed.
Feb 2, 2008 ( 30 weeks)
Today I went through my 3 year olds clothes and took out all the newborn and 3 month stuff. I also took the crib and the carseat out of storage. All I have to do is wash everything. I am starting to get excited but I am not in any rush for him to get here, even though I am not sleeping much now I know I will be getting alot less sleep once the baby gets here. We have also agreed on a name. We haven't talked about a middle name but I was thinking of my brothers name.

Well I am losing weight again. I steped on the scale and I have lost 6 lbs since I last weighted myself at the midwifes. So now I am only up 5 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight. sure beats the 85 I gained with my first.

Yesterday I had painful cramps and discharge. Thinking it would go away I tried lying down streching everything and they kept coming. At 5 I called the midwife and she said I should come in to get checked out and make sure I wasn't leaking fluid etc. When i went in they hooked me up to the machine that checks for contrations, checked for fluids and a urine sample. I am not leaking fluid, and they are not contractions, I have a UTI and I was dehydrated. I can't believe I never even thought about a uti since I am so prone to them. oh well better safe than sorry.
I love where I am going to have my baby, When I got there they were ready for me. I didn't have to wait for someone to call me back or wait around.

Last night we moved my son into a different bedroom and moved him to a double bed. He slept through the night he has only done that a handful of times. Maybe that is all he needed was a big bed. We also set up the crib. I am thinking of making the nursery Lighing McQueen and Cars but it doesn't really go well with the crib I will have to find a way to dress it up a bit. That is how my oldest sons room was decorated but he had a toddler bed so he wont be using it anymore. Still unsure on how to decorate James room. Right now he is into Scooby doo but I am not sure how long that will last I am thinking Dinosaurs.

Today I had my midwife appointment, Everything was good. Measuring 2 weeks ahaed but that is ok I have been 2 weeks from the begining. blood pressure was good baby's heart beat was 150 and I only gained 3 lbs since my last appointment so that puts me at about 12 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight. I am just tired. Met the doula I am going to be using last night, she seems very nice, I have to start thinking about what I will do with my son when I am having the baby, I would have liked him to be there but I don't think that is a good idea, the baby being born isn't the problem it would be him seeing me in the state I will be in that will be the problem. I also got my GD screen back I was .8 away from being over. My iron was low but I wasn't surprised with that have to eat more meat ( yuk) and Iron rich food or take a supplement which I don't want to do.
Feb 26/08 (34 weeks)
Today I had a midwife appt. Everything was good. They are sending me for a bio physical ultrasound. Since I am measuring big and I have a lot of fluid. Baby has dropped and I kinda figured he did b/c I am now a little uncomfortable Today he is sitting on a nerve or something b/c it hurts. I am not in any rush for him to get here though.

Today i went for my bio physical ultrasound the baby scored an 8/8 and he weights 6lbs 4 oz.
My oldest son is driving me nut. I feel bad for saying that. But I can't do anything he is following me everywhere and I am really started to dislike the name Mommy. I know it is because there is going to be a new baby but I don't want two babies.

aw thank you! Im a picture freak. ha. Im doing ok. Starting to finally heal and get into the swing of two kids. Ive broke down and let the baby sleep in our bed though...she sleeps sooo much better there! Jade is adjusting pretty well. She loves having a little sister. She is very protective and always trying to help out. I am so lucky she is doing so well, well I guess that is until jealously sets in later. But as of right now she's doing great!

Are you thinking about the caster oil? So many people have done it and I've heard very bad - and very good things about it. I'm not going to need to do anything - and kind of feel lucky to have a date. I've never gone into labor on my own. I have 3 boys and all were induced (Late might I add) so I'm kind of lucky to have this one a week early. The only bad part with the gestational diabetes is that i have to prick myself to check my blood sugar 4 times a day... ughhh... I'm still not too used to that!!!

Thank you for your comment - I just got back from the doctor. My blood pressure is slightly elivated - but not too bad. No protein in my urine. There's no real explanation as to why I keep seeing spots - he told me to stay off of my feet and we'll keep our eye on it... The baby's head and shoulders are engaged so that explains the hip and pelvic pressure... as well as the baby's slowing of movement. Doc says she can only move her legs now so it's normal to not feel her move much. We officially scheduled induction for May 13th with the hospital. I go in at 5PM on May 12th to be admitted... Not much longer now!

i tried everything too, except castor oil and sex! my boyfriend wont have sex with me. i thnk he's scared he's going to hurt the baby. and the cstor oil... well the thing is that im scared of is the baby is going to pass meconium while he's still inside. i just found out that im being induced sunday at midnight. but i still have the rest of today and then 5 more days. still i really really REALLY hope he comes on his own. i still have a chance... right? :) well i hope everything goes good for you and that you go into labor real soon

5 days past for me too! *sigh* will our babies ever come? im still not feeling any contractions, but when they monitored my baby's movement and my contractions, im having regular contractions about 5 minutes or so apart, but they just aren't real strong. which is why im not feeling anything yet. i really hope they start getting stronger soon! real soon! because i want to have him on my own so so so bad! how are you feeling? any progression?
