Thank you for the information. I have been really dehydrated a lot this pregnancy, so I wonder if it is a lack of calcium. Please let me know if it helps.

Yup, it's going down to -38 tonight here too! That's pretty cold for Calgary...but the good news is it's warming up by Wednesday (hopefully a Chinook!) So you're seeing a midwife,,,how did you find/decide to go that route as opposed to seeing a doctor for your prenatal care? (or are u seeing doctor too?) and what is the midwife like? will she deliver the baby? I find it very interesting!!

Yeah, we're getting the storm here too! -30 they say it'll be tonight! (I can't imagine how hard is was having just come back from Pheonix!) I'm from Medicine Hat originally but have lived in Calgary for 13 years. We're pretty happy here...the weather isn't great (I miss the heat in Med Hat) but it's not so bad.

I have the same problem almost all the time. It is the most annoying feeling ever. I haven't found anything that helps me...I sure would love to, though. I too feel like I need to move my legs all the time. I do try hot baths and they seem to help while I am taking them. Let me know if you find anything that works!!

Things are going great so far. Feeling good, just tired!! Had our 12 week ultrasound and things look good so far... but i'm really looking forward to the 20 week U/S. Would like to know if we're having a boy or girl so I can START SHOPPING!! Either one is fine...would just like to know. So you're ready to move your little guy into a bed eh? I guess you'll be needing the crib for the new one. If I had my way I'd keep our 2 1/2 yr old in his crib forever. It's the only place I can 'contain' him when he needs a 'time-out! LOL I guess i'll have to transition him into a big-boy bed one of these days... Have you always lived in Edmonton??

I can see how the smell of Tim's (or coffee in general) could be a tur-off....it's such a strongly distinctive smell! How has your pregnancy been (in general) so far!??

Hi.. I read your comment on amnio fluid... i don't think there is a home test .. i had this problem a few days ago and i went to my doctor and they took a simple swab that told me right there if it was amnio fluid or not...

Heya - I will definitely want to find out, if the little one cooperates - I understand they can really get in the way and be stubborn when it comes to that! If not, I'll be booking a scan every week until I find out! lol.

I guess you’re right – our bodies have all kinds of alarm systems for all sorts of things... why not this? LOL. So how’s your PG going? All the guys at work keep asking me how I’m feeling… poor things, I don’t think they know what else to say… touching, but annoying nonetheless… they treat me like I’m made of glass! LOL

Hi Natalie! thank you so much for messaging me, just to know there are others out there going through sadly what i am , is actually quite comforting. I am going to see the Midwife for my 24 week check tomorrow afternoon and i am going to try and be brave and bring it up with her, its only the second time i have met her so i am nervous.
We dont know the sex, we decided NOT to find out, somewhat glad somewhats like i wanna know now, heheehe.
Congratulations on your baby boy to be! Just seen we are actually only 10 days apart of each other.
Good luck wiht the rest of the pregnancy and hope this time round things go easier on you, and thank you for just showing a care, its meant alot.
