*****Its A Little Girl!*****

Hi Ladies, This is my first pregnancy and im so far not really enjoying the sickness or sore boobs! Im starting to feel a bit exited about it but i know its still early days yet and anything can happen although im quietly confident everything will be ok! Ive yet to have a scan but i cant wait to see my baby! This baby wasent exactly planned but i count myself lucky because of the heartache other women go through. Time cant seem to go fast enough though! :)

Ok so i went to see my midwife the other day and shes told me that my uterus is measuring 26cm! im 22 weeks preggo and mesuring 1cm bigger than and average 25week persons belly, so at least now i know why i look so big and i know im not a freak, so for future reference no im not expecting twins and no im not further gone than i think, thanx :) x

Sound very familiar! Yours was even longer than mine, but she'd turned back to back as well and my contractions stopped twice, but I think it was the epidural did that! At least we both got our gorgeous babies home safe and sound!! That's all that matters now! I didn't tear but had to get an episiotomy (is that right?) to get the forceps in, so I'm still a bit sore.

Aw, thanks, Abbie was born on the 22nd, went into labour on the 21st! We were very nearly the same time! How did it go for you? I had a bit of a hard time, had nearly 19 hours of labour and finished up having a forceps delivery with an epidural. So much for my birth plan of massage and birthing pools!!

Hey!!! Well i went in and got checked and im now 5cm!!! So they booked me up for an induction thursday morning at 8am!!! OMG one day left for me!!! I cant beleive it! I have to take it realy easy tho cuz at 5cm its no joke and i honestly cant beleive they let me go home. She did think of leaving me in the hospital but they asked us if we didnt mind going home so yeah thats my update! Guess im not gonna be working and taking it REALY easy tomarow!

my babys head was 3/5 at week 36. i am week 38 today but will see my midwife for check on tuesday so she will be able to tell me more. i recon we will both be early and our babies are big so they are not underdeveloped. are you chilling out now?

i love the name, sounds very much like it flows well. my mum always wanted to call me lee and thought i would be a boy. it worked out that i was 5 1/4 ibs a girl & she was in ward with 3 other women who had boys and thought lee was a lovely name so all three boys were called lee so my mum made up lee-anne. I'm known as leanne now but family friends call me lea. i like it, its feminine with the a but tomboyish too. i like girls with strong names ie charlie

cant wait now. i am meeting diff girlfriend each week next week for lunch to keep me occupied. xxx

Yeah, I'm still keeping fine too, think this baby is forgetting to slow down its moving though, it's battering lumps out me! I've got no idea whether my baby's started to engage but I've got the midwife tomorrow so I'll ask!

I think there is a chance of having our babies early if we keep measuring bigger. Or if they do the u/s and see that the baby is big maybe they will induce you... that would be my guess. I'm just assuming they want to keep track of how big the baby is cuz of labor and the risk that could put you at for having a c-section. I could totally be wrong but i know there is no way some 8 or 9 pounder is coming out vaginaly!
I havent had to have any u/s since i was 19 weeks so this will be the first one i have to see exactly how big he is.

hey i cant see your new pics hun? have you seen mine? the 4d ones. you only got a couple of months to go and you will instantly start to loose weight rather than gain it. thats what i have been thinking now. my ankles are really swollen, you know i said about my accident with my back and how it affected all my nerves.. well my right leg nerve3s havnt come back yet and your calf acts as a pump to move liquid back to heart so my bloody right foots like a club! plus my fingers are like sausages. mines a bit bigger t han average too. so the 4d scan said. hope your scan went ok. sorry didnt reply earlier been busy getting ready for my month away hippppiiiiii xxxxxxx
