Had my first bout of morning sickness this morning. Was really hoping i could get away with just the nausea, but no such luck. Nibbling on dry crackers at the moment as can't face any breakfast!!

Hello! Typically with your first appointment, they will go over a number of questions with you about your family history, and your partners family history. You may also get an ultrasound to make sure the times match up. (not every doctor does this) They will probably do a pap smear on you and they MAY take blood that visit. they will give you some packets on pregnancy. In it it usually tells you what things are ok to do/take while pregnant. For the children thing. on the right side of your page there is a part where it says kids, and you can change it from yes to no :)
