Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sunday, 23 Mar My midwife told me that discharge can get so heavy in these last weeks it can drip down your leg (ewww). But she said you can tell it's not the water breaking because it's thicker and whiter than amniotic fluid. She said fluid would soak a thick maxi pad and discharge would just lie on top of the pad. lil-ole-me -
Wednesday, 19 Mar So any change today? I'm not going to work. I am losing mucus plug this morning, and it is definately a little bloody. My belly also feels achey - not obvious contractions, but just achey. I'm thinking that we can't be too far away. Good luck - and keep me posted!! theresaanne -
Wednesday, 19 Mar I wouldn't keep researching because I think they will all say the same thing, the middle is the safest (especially if you have side air bags). I guess if you think about it it makes sense, if you were to get hit on the side your baby would be further away from the damage. rhipetrilli -
Wednesday, 19 Mar Hi again, Im not sure what kind of car you have but you can buy a little mirror that sticks to your back window, you line it up with your rear-view mirror and you can see bubb. Thats what i did with my first two babies, unfortunately now i have a station-wagon but i may be able to 'rig' something up! Good luck with your delivery etc. R x dmtheria -
Wednesday, 19 Mar I went today to get my carseat checked at the ambulance centre here in canada. I had mine in the middle of the back and she told me it didn't make a difference. She was ok with the centre or on the side. I left there thinking I would put it on the passenger side cause it is too hard to climb to the middle of my truck to the seat, but I think it makes more sense to leave it in the middle? for safety of course.....Good luck! rhipetrilli -
Wednesday, 19 Mar Re: Baby seat, I have just had mine fitted by 'KidsSafe' an organization in Australia that fit them for you for $20. They told me the most safe position for the seat is rear facing in the centre of the back seat. I know we are in different countries but i dont think that matters when it comes to car safety. myboy -
Tuesday, 4 Mar I've had all these symptoms, and last week when I went to the Dr. I wasn't dialated @ all. Also my cervix was still thick. We'll see what happens @ my appt on Thur. Hope I was of help mom-o-7 -
Monday, 3 Mar I've had all those symptoms, very sharp vaginal pain and pressure, alot of braxton hicks, wet undies, not alot of back pain. I was dilated 1cm. last week, which seemed like nothing...my cervix was still thick. I go back to the Dr. tomorrow, hopefully I've progressed a little, but not much has changed honestly. I'll be surprised if I am more than I was last week. Good luck to you and your new little one! gonzjan -
Tuesday, 26 Feb HI,
My hands ahve been numb and tingly since week 29. Its carpel tunnel related to pregnancy. Im so swollen and huge and this is why I have it. Some women get it because of all the fluid. It does not go right away after birth, but it will eventually be gone a few months afterwards. Sorry you have to go thru this. Its hard especially if you have to work. Take care. SHELLYMAC1970 -
Tuesday, 26 Feb I get carpal tunnel too - horrible feeling!! Like you can hardly feel anything when you put your thumb and finger together. My midwife said put them onto something really cold or really hot for relief. Doesnt go away right away after birth. Ive gotten used to it now! mommyinthesky -
Sunday, 17 Feb The pediatrician I met with last week said to get the Medela pump in style. She said there is really nothing better and some of the other ones simply do not work and would be a waste of money. mommyslilangel -
Saturday, 16 Feb Trust me, you dont want a single pump, I got one for $60 and i got fed up with it in less than a week. You want the double, instead of sitting there for an hour, you can sit there and use a double in 30 mis and be done. So i went out and spent another $200 for the double. My son is still in the hospital, he was born at 32 weeks. So it was really annoying after a while, having to pump every three to four hours and having to sit there for an hour instead of 30 mins. and trying to get to the hospital in time for him to eat. so yea, you're gonna wish you got the double. Good luck. la -
Saturday, 16 Feb IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PURCHASE ONE YOU CAN RENT THEM FROM THE HOSPITAL. MY DOCTOR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT NEED IT FOREVER AND IT IS A PRETTY BIG EXPENSE ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER EXPENSES GOING ON RIGHT NOW cowanmommy -

I just went on Monday for the 1 hour test and I failed got the results yesterday my score was 145. When should I go should I wait a couple of days like go in Monday and cut down completely on my sugar. To tell you the truth I'm terrified, because my dad and my grandmom suffered with diabetes.
