Hello everyone. Well I guess it's my turn after reading quite a bit of everyone else's profiles, I'll tell you a little about myself and my pregnant self. I am 20 weeks pregnant today. I am due February 22nd, 2008. I seen a lot of you ladies were also due that day, I'm really excited to see that, considering this is my first child =] I found out June 19, 2007 that I was pregnant, it wasn't TOO much of a suprise, but somehow it still did suprise me. I was nervous, scared, happy, excited.. I can just say mixed emotions. I have loved being pregnant so far. I didn't get one bit of morning sickness, which was a blessing right there. I haven't got any heartburn YET, I'm just waiting. The baby flutters inside me often, I love it! Only thing I can complain about is how sleepy I always am during the day, and how NOT sleepy I am at night. My fiance is very supportive, I love him and thankful for him. Oh and we get to find out the sex on October 9, we are ecstatic.. I don't know what it is. I just can't wait to find out. My mom has been very supportive, the sad part is that we moved away right after finding out we were pregnant, were only 3 hours away but its still pretty hard considering I'm very close to her. But we see eachother often, and she can't stop buying me stuff. I love how supportive my family has been. They are soo excited to be grandparents. But my mom is really excited to find out the sex so she can start buying pinks and purples or blues and greens. I started out at one doctors office, and they just pissed me off so I switched, and I am very pleased about the switch. I had an ultrasound at 12 wks and 5 days, and it was amazing. Every time I have an OB appt. they listen to the heartbeat.. I love it! So far so good. Anyways, I would love to chat with some expecting mothers. It's nice to talk to women that are going through the same thing as I. Well I'll write more later.
October 7-
So my family is comming up here tomorrow [which makes me sooo friggin excited!!!!] They're comming for the ultrasound that I'm having on Tuesday. I get to find out the sex. My Fiance and I are soo ecstatic, I mean I wake up every morning, asking myself..is today the day!? It's almost midnight, so I can say, TOMORROW! haha. I get to see my little doggie chico, he lives with my parents, and that just makes things 10 times better =] My fiance's car broke down and were going to have to get a new engine in it, which is totally a set back, but its life.. so he is having to drive my car for now, which sucks for me =[ Anywayss...The day of my ultrasound I also have to have blood work done, to see if my baby has down syndrome. Has anyone had that one done yet? I orginally said no, but they talked me into it, because if my baby does have d/s than I might have to deliver in a bigger hospital, because when a baby has d/s sometimes they have heart complications too. So I GUESS I'm going to get it done. I originally wasn't going to have it done because I won't love my baby any less if it does have down syndrome..but I guess since it's a bigger ordeal than just that, I'll have the blood test done. Sometimes the test is a false/positive and freaks moms for no deal, I DO NOT like that part at all. Well I guess enough for now. I'll be back to tell everyone what the sex is..I can't wait. What does everyone think? Boy or girl? My picture posted was at 15 weeks, and im now 20 weeks. I need a new one, but this stupid site wont let me upload for some stupid reason. Its picky. Tah tah for now <3
October 10- So my ultrasound was yesterday. It's a little boy! =] We couldn't be more happier. My fiance jumped into the air and was like, "YESSS YESSS, I KNEW ITT!" I can't wait to call people and tell them.." It was adorable. Were going to name him Rylen Paul, with lots of meaning behind it =] My parents were there and they are very excited. We did a little shopping last night, and some other people have given me some ADORABLE boys clothes. I'm excited now that I know what it is. I can't wait to meet you little Rylen! <3
October 11-I added some pictures. There not much but they sure are something =] Go look everyone!
October 13- So im here at my parents house, about 3 hours away from w here I live. I miss it sooo much! =[ But I hope to move back here after Rylen is born, we will see how everything goes. I want to go to school and need someone that I can TRUST with the baby, and my mom would love to do it.. so we will see if we can do it at that point in time. I'm praying we can. Anyways, baby is getting stronger each week, since yesterday I can start to see the kicks on the outside of my stomach..he's getting so strong. I love it..knowing he's growing so strong makes me a happy momma. Well just wrote to keep all updated. I would love to talk to all mothers. So write me and I'll keep in contact =]] <3
October 15- Last week when I went to my ultrasound, we also had planned on doing my quad testing [to see if baby has down syndrome] I originally wasn't going to do because I didn't want to worry my whole pregnancy if he did have it, but they talked me into it because they said if the baby does have they sometimes have us delivery in a different hospital because usually when a baby has D/S they have heart problems, so I got the screening done and I got the test results back today! =] =] =] Everything is normal they said. At first my heart stopped because I thought they were calling to tell me something was wrong..but she hurried up and said everything came out normal and were good to go. It's reassuring knowing he's doing good in his little home. I'm thinking wow..38 weeks is over 16 weeks.. And 40 weeks is over 18 weeks.. doesn't seem like a long time, but yet, it does. haha. I'm excited to meet him, but I want him to stay in there until at least 38 weeks. But I can't wait to meet him and see who he looks like. I hope I'm like my mom and have healthy small babies! =] Okay. Baby dust to all who are TTC and good luck to the expectants! <3
October 25- So I haven't checked in for a while. Things have been going good. His kicks are getting so much stronger day by day. You can actually see my belly moving around, its really fun. Curtis got to feel him just squirm and kick.. I think he is practicing gymnastics in there, I swear. But the other morning [actually the day of my OB check up] I woke up with cramping, they felt like menstrual cramps, and I know thats not a good sign. So I just waiting around, taking it an easy all day until my appointment arrived [ I seen no abnormal discharge, or neither any blood, so I knew it couldn't have been TOO serious yet] And they found blood in my urine, so they told me I had a bladder infection and put me on some good antibotics, and I've been taking them for 2 days now and feel much better. I didn't know a bladder infection could make you feel that way..it also made my back hurt, which is a major sign of bladder infection during pregnancy I guess. Glad I got that all figured out though, I feel much better. But yeah, were doing good. I go back to have a 4D ultrasound on november 20th, for his last check-up, I'll be almost 27 weeks, so im excited to see the 4D picture of that. My friend just had her baby, kaydence lynne, she is a little doll... gave mom quite the hassle though, 26 hours of induced labor, got stucked on the pelvic bone, and had to have an emergnecy C-section.. no fun for her. But everything is good now. Well, I'm down to meet new moms, so come talk to me =] Baby dust to all who are TTC and rubs to all the expecting moms. <3

November 19- its been awhile since I've updated. Well I go to my doctors on Tuesday to get my gestational diabetes testing done, a 4D ultrasound, and a check up. It's going to be one long appointment. I look forward to it. It's always reassuring to me to know he is doing good in there. Although I'm pretty sure he is, because he's always a kicking away =] They have to do a 4D because he is measuring 7 days behind, but I know FOR SURE when I concieved him. But my mom had small babies and they a lot of women take after there mothers in child bearing. I'm not worried about it. I was barely a 6 llb baby. =] I'm feeling pretty good overall. my back has been killing me. Oh and I pee every 20-30 minutes during the night. But just typical complaints. But I would have to say I'm enjoying this time =] Well rubs to all the bellies, and baby dust to who all is TTC.
January 22, 2008-
So this is my first time writing in a long time. I love living back in my hometown =] Everything just seeems so much better and im so much happier. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new doctor, he's the best I've seen so far, and this is my third doctor for this pregnancy. He's so patient and calm and explains EVERYTHING so well. I like it alot. Were expecting to have baby rylen here in my 37th or 38th week of pregnancy, he's sitting so low and his head is down. He's in position =] I just can't wait to meet him. His room is all ready and we have everything we need to welcome him into the world. My pregnancy went really well so far. I'm starting to ache and I'm full of baby. Now is where all my pregnancy complaints are coming out, but It's totally worth it =]
Feb. 6- I am now at 37 weeks but after tomorrow I'm officially 38 weeks. I'm glad to have made it this far, but I think im ready to be done.. NOW PLEASE =] haha. I try not to be selfish, but its so hard because I haev all the end of the pregnancy complaints. I am dilated to a 3 cm, and about 90% effaced, his head is REAL low and and bag of water is thin. I'm really excited to hear all of this, but knowing some women sit at this stage for 2-3 weeks kills me! I've been in the OB for contractions, but they were prodromal (spelling?) labor contractions, meaning they weren't productive and weren't moving my cervix and my body was practicing for the 'REAL' labor. Okay body, let's be done with practice and on with the real game. But he is healthy and doing great, but mommy and daddy are real anxious to meet him. Anyways, enough about that.. I love to talk to mothers that are due around the time as I, and I love to hear birth stories.. so feel free to talk to me =] Good luck to all the expecting mommies and labor dust to all who are expecting SOON!
November 26th- So it's been a week since my big ol appointment and I haven't gotten a phone call so I'm guessing all is good =] The 4D was amazing and he is text book perfect they said, so that made me feel a lot better. He caught up on his size.. They said I gained a little too much weight, and to watch my carb intake.. kinda hurt my feelings, but it's just the way it is I guess. I just hope and pray I'll lose it after he is born. =] That was my last doctors appointment before I move out of town. I already got another doctor lined up, I know at least 5 people that I personally know that went to him and said he is the best doctor alive. So I hope I agree =] Then after I start seeing my new doctor, Dr. Tynes, I go every 2 weeks. .Fun Fun. But I'm so excited to be moving home, and I like my new place, its cute and veryyy roomy. So I might not be on here for a while, but I'll get back to ASAP. Well I just wanted to update all of you. I hope everyone is doing good. Belly rubs to all the expecters, and baby dust to whom is all TTC. <3|
