i still ahve a lot to do at home. mostly just serious cleaning and discarding of stuff we dont really need. a few things to do for his room. having a shower on saturday. don't have the car seat yet. mentally, ready. yet very nervous and sad to see our change from the way it was, but looking forward to caring for this little squirt! how about you? you nervous about doing this on your own? will you have a family member at the hospital with you? gosh the whole delivery process is such a scary thought. though from what i hear by the time 3-5 more weeks pass by i will be elated to get him out.

Fair play to you trying the councilling thing too, takes more courage to go than not to go eh? But you're right, we're nearly there, another week closer and yes, it's scary stuff!! Hey girl, how's tricks with you? So you're measuring 2wks ahead of schedule, hope you've put some of your worries at ease now, i can only imagine how you must be feeling but don't forget, although we're all at 34wks, this pregnancy lark isn't all black and white & we're all different with it so you'll be ok! Yeah, it's strange having family living away, my sister and I have become closer since i've been preggers (she has 2 lovely kids) & my mom feels bad that she won't be here for the birth (she looks after my sisters kids) but she's coming over for a week or so after the other half goes back to work after his 2wks paternity leave. I haven't seen my folks since beginning of August & it's strange knowing the next time i see them, there'll be this little bundle in the house!! I'm not feeling too bad with the whole thing but am getting sick of people saying 'you don't seem very excited' but i'm just not the type of person to get excited about stuff......not until the last minute anyway! I think i'm just toooooo damn tired!!!! Hope you're ok and enjoying the w/e, speak soon :o)

Hi - it is a little exciting! However it's been very uncomfortable! I've been getting some crazy pressure in my lower pelvic area and the braxton hicks are a lot stronger and more frequent and at times quite painful. It is nice being able to take a deep breath though lol! I spoke to my doctor today & he said that I've dropped quite early, 1st time mums tend to drop from about 36 wks so there is a chance that my bub could come a little early...it's exciting but also a little scary! I hope you're feeling well : )

Hey Nina, how are you keeping?? I did your trick last night with a pillow between my knees and it made a good difference with the pain in my pelvis so cheers for that!! Think i'm going to have to kick the other half into the spare room when he gets back as the bed is now a huge pillow zone for me! I just wish i could sleep full stop i'm sooooooo tired, but i guess it's all practice for when the bubs come along eh?! Went to the midwife yesterday and the baby has changed from the perfect position to 'back to back' so i have to get on all 4's at some point and start rocking to see if i can get it to move! On your message you say you rang your mom in Greece, do they live out there i take it or just on hols? My folks and sister and her family live in Ireland so it's strange for me not to have them here and sometimes phone calls just don't cut it! Hope you're ok anyway, speak soon x

Oh my gosh Nina, I don't even know where to start. I cannot believe Nik. What a piece of shit to bail on you and Yasmin at the last minute. He acts like she's nothing to him, she is a person for goodness sake! An innocent, beautiful baby girl and he can't handle it? That's beyond terrible and I am so sorry that YOU have to deal with that in your life. He is a worthless piece of shit, I cannot believe him. He WILL regret this later on, if not soon after Yasmin is born. He will realize that he has a daughther out there somewhere when he's running around with whoever he wants, having fun. YOU will be the one having fun Nina, because you will be taking care of beautiful Yasmin and she will light up your world every single day :) You hang in there, I know this must be hard for you, especially when your so close to the end. I was already scared to death about what Jeff's intensions were, but now I am REALLY terrified! I hope he doesn't do the same to me as Nik has done to you, because I don't know how I could handle that. But if it happens...then it happens. I am here for YOU and little Yasmin, anytime you'd like to talk. You don't need Nik, the two of you will be just fine without him. Me along with everyone else already know your going to be a wonderful mother :) I love you Nina and Yasmin!! ::kisses::

You know...it is really hard. I'm trying to deal with everything and I totally have no clue how half the time. The kid isn't even out and I'm freaking out. Yes, it'll be ok. But you know...I just wish the situation was different.
