38.5 hours ago This will be your fourth girl? OMG. I think our odds are it'll be a girl but NOBODY thinks it's a girl. I have not found out so we'll see. I kinda think it's a boy just because this one is sooo different but you never know!
Good luck to you as well! mrsjdwilliams -
Friday, 5 September yeah i know...as long as i bring my son into this world safe and healthy i have succeeded...thats my only mission! mrsjdwilliams -
Friday, 5 September Thx so much...at one of my childbirth classes we did the lil exercise where you have to hold the handsful of ice for a period of time....ugh it hurt so bad and after i let go it would give me this numb then sharp pain!! The educator said it was only a fifth of what labor pain feels like....geez i'm getting kind of worried. I really don't want to let myself down but hubby has been supportive since i talked to him yesterday about the whole c-section thing and he's starting to not push me so much since he also didn't want me getting any meds because of his friends wife having a back problems from an epi. But anyways that would be nice.......as long as u go into labor soon i'll be more than glad to join u!! LOL kathy=^.^= -

Thursday, 4 September Pictures are up!!! mrsjdwilliams -
Thursday, 4 September i wanted to ask the OB i seen today to strip mine but i think i'd rather wait and leave that judgement up to my regular OB. I'm at the point now where i now have this mentality that if its more than likely will need a c-section i'd rather have it scheduled than have to have an emergency one! So i'm going to discuss it with my OB on Tuesday at our next d/a to see what she has to say about the whole situation. I wish you luck though and much labor dust! mrsjdwilliams -
Thursday, 4 September well i went in seen the other doc. He also when i asked about an internal exam said there's no normal routine and they typically don't do it because dilation and effacement just gives false hopes. he said some woman can come in to L&D in full active labor but just the day before weren't dilated or effaced at all and some on the other hand can be 3 cm and 100% effaced for weeks. I'm still bummed that i have no clue if i've made any progress yet. Well anyways the bad news is that I've been striving for a unmedicated natural birth since day one and the doc did a scan becaues he was questioning Jr's position...sure enought he's in an akward position actually laying caddy corner so he said when i go into labor if the contractions don't urge him to move into the proper position then i will have to hav a c-section!! :( mrsjdwilliams -
Wednesday, 3 September i thought so...i also tested postive for it. What made me mad was at my last appt the nurse wallked me into the rooom until my doc came in and since it was my 36 wk appt she was like "Go ahead and take your bottoms off for your GBS testing and your dr will be right with you." so my doc comes in and says they tested for it in my urine already so we didn't need to do it. She mentioned i tested positive for it but she just literally MENTIONED it while going over my stuff so i thought that was a good thing. So thanks to all the lovely ladies and this wonderful website i realized its not a good thing and started doing research on it since i wasn't informed or even aware what it was!! At my last childbirth class the educator talked a lil bit on it and said at my hospital most moms who were GBS positive have to stay for at least 2 days...i'm really bummed about that! But anything to make sure my baby is fine! mrsjdwilliams -
Wednesday, 3 September i haven't did really any walking but technically i have since i've been out doing shopping...considering walking right?! plus i've still been working on my feet for hours so hopefully that will help also. If you don't mind what do you need antibiotics for? mrsjdwilliams -

Sunday, 31 August HI, how are you going? Any action on the labour front? mrsjdwilliams -
Tuesday, 26 August oh i am keeping the bassinet!! but as for that situation his neice almost smoothered her first and only time in the bassinet so thats his primary "excuse" on why he doesn't want him sleeping in the bassinet. mrsjdwilliams -
Tuesday, 26 August lol...I will have 2 catch myself from trying 2 correct him when he's only helping!!! his mom bought a bassinet also but he says theres no need to put it in our room because he'll be sleeping either between us or on his chest...he kept trying to convince me to take the bassinet back....I already know he's gonna give me a hard time just spoiling him. metsmom -
