Well here i am 30 weeks and i figured i should post a little about myself!! I am 24 years old and have been married since September 21st 2007. Andy and i had been dating since 2001. We had a son, named Logan, on January 16th 2006 and i am now 30 weeks pregnant with our daughter, Addison. My pregnancy thus far has been a tiny medically complicated. I have had high blood pressure since the begining, i think my highest reading was 150 over 110 So i have had to go to the doctors every 2 weeks or closer from the begining, on month i was able to go 4 weeks lol, so already this feels like the longest pregnancy ever! I have had about 5 ultrasounds the last one was at 29 weeks and the baby was 3lbs, yeah! I go back to the doctors wednesday and i will get to start my weekly non stress tests, which i am secretly excited about so i can spend an hour reading a magazine and listening to the baby. Well ill up date soon, congrats to all you moms to be and good luck to all of you trying!!

hello. i read ur posting about labetalol and I was on it through my pregnancy. I also had to be induced becasuse of my BP and my son did not have to go to the NICU or anything special once born. He was totally fine!! Hope this helps!

Those blood pressures and other symptoms sound really dangerous. Pre-eclampsia can be quite bad. I personally think you should get that baby out of you. Sounds to me like your doc isn't taking good care of you. Baby would be perfectly fine if he/she came now..I don't understand the wait. Hope all goes well for you.

I am very concerned . I got pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy and it is very dangerous not only for you but for your baby too. The symptoms you described today sound exactly like pre-eclampsia...please make sure your doctor really undertands this...Please take care of yourself.

I have the same burning breast thing that you mentioned. It happens to me every night when I get undressed. As soon as I take my bra off my nipples get hot and hard and they hurt for at leats 15 minutes or so. (Sorry if that was TMI). I actually stand there in my room holding them after I get undressed until they stop cuz I cannot even bear to put a nightgown or anything on unless I want to walk hunched over so that it does not run against them...it is crazy! He is so handsome with his big blue eyes... are u having a girl or boy this time??? About the state aid, I'm not against it, but it is barely giving me 230 a month and their just causing a lot of headaches for me... I have to call and call and never get a call back, they pull numbers out of the air and put them on paper like they are valid, it is one big cuss-fest for me... I just posted about the biophysical, asking if anyone else knew anything about it. I was told yesterday that I have to have one every week now at my appt along with a level 2 ultrasound every week to prevent stillborn. Will you let me know what your visit entails tomorrow? Thank you and good luck!

Hello! I was diagnosed when i was 13. My mother actually saw a show on television about it and knew right away that i had all the symptoms. I started my period when i was 9 years old. A key sign is if you are an early developer. There also is some excess hair growth because of the elevated testosterone levels. My pediatrician didn’t seem to want to diagnose me with the syndrome, so my mother brought me to a gynecologist. This is where I was diagnosed and put through a couple of different treatment methods. If she does have it she should definitely start as soon as possible to treat all of the symptoms before it gets out of hand. I highly recommend going to an endocrinologist. They can help you level out the hormone levels which is most important. I hope this helped! And good luck!!!

hey thanks for the reply...i was also reading your comments and wanted to say that when my baby was 36 weeks they said she was 7 lbs 7 ounces and they were expecting a baby well over 9 lbs when i delivered...they were even going to induce me, but i went into labor the day before my induction and she only came out 8 lbs 7 ounces at 39 weeks and one day

Hello!!
At 23 weeks by lil sweet pea weighed in at 1 pound 11 ounces...So, I am sure she weighs more than 2 lbbs now. I asked the Dr if that was 'Big' and he told me that she was in the 88% and that was big, but they WANT babies to be big!! So, don't stress...My Dr did ask me if my hubby was tall... (He is 5'10', average) he said she would take after him, rather than my 5'2' height.

Thank you.. it seems like it would be true. I heard that girls take the moms beauty for a while.. LOL.. so maybe.. Daddy wants a boy.. and I don't know why but I think its a boy.. We will hopefully found out December 27th.. baby better lift up the umbi cord and show off the goods.. Cause dad can't contain himself.. he really wants to know.
