So this is my husband's and my first child; we're SO excited! It wasn't planned, but it was a fantastic surprise! I stopped using BC pills in September, and we tried the "natural" method of BC. Yeah, that didn't work, LOL! I recently graduated with my BS in Elementary Education, so this couldn't have come at a better time, honestly. So far, I LOVE being pregnant; I guess you could consider me one of the lucky ones (no morning sickness)! It has been such a great experience so far. I cannot WAIT to meet this little miracle! Best of luck to you, ladies! WE'RE having a BABY!!!

The blood rushing there is such a good description. I just say it is overly sensational and it drives me insane! It gets better, thats for sure... but it takes time. The nipples will get better also. I think after 2 wks moving into my 3rd it got easier. Because I thought I was going to give up!
I went to the bookstore yesterday and saw 2 good books (only brought one) the one I got was called, "I'm a Mom! Now What?!"
I like it because it has a lot of pictures to go along with stuff and is right on point for where my son is for their month-to-month detail. The book covers 24 months, so I thought it was worth it.
The other one I wanted is called 'Baby 411' which is the same type of book that makes 'Bridal Bargins' if you ever saw that when you got married. It is a reference type book but it didn't have the colorful pictures - so I thought I could get it later.
I like reading little reference books just to make sure what I am doing is remotely in synch with what is normal - and that he is doing things that he should be doing at his age.
Other then that, I am tripping because he is 4 wks today!! WOW - Time totally flies and I have no idea where it went! I can't believe how much he has changed in the past month too. HE is really starting to come into his own and show his personality!

Dang! I couldn't IMAGINE being sent home after 9 hours of pitocin.. they used the foley bulb as well as pitocin which I'm now glad for after hearing that! I think it really helped to get my dilating kick started. How are you doing??? Baby baby??

No, he didn't cry a lot afterwards, but he was kinda irritable when I changed his diaper. I was scared to touch it or irritate it. And be prepared... the doctor does a great job, but it still is pretty yucky to look at afterwards. Poor things guys have to go through!
Happy Anniversary!! I know what you mean about having his own day, did I tell you my son was born on my nephews birthday! They are exactly 5 years apart. I was kinda disappointed on that, but what can I do? So I plan on doing some extra special stuff for my son to make his day still his day. People say joint parties, but no... no fun. My youngest brother and I are 9 yrs - 363 days apart. He was born 2 days before me and once he came into the world, no one remembered my birthday... that might be a little stretched, but you get the point.
Well I hope you have him before your induction date... but I can imagine you are totally ready! I wish you the best. Can't wait to hear how your appt went!

Never TMI. Benn there, done that. LOL.
I didn't have to 'clean' the circumsision so much as to keep it from rubbing against the diaper. The doctor just told me to keep it clear... but it was so red and swollen that I refused to clean it to irritate it. So we had to put vasiline on a little gauze and that was the blocker from the diaper. Now that it is healed, the color isn't swollen red, I can clean it and it looks great. Oh, the only other thing the doctor told me to do was to push the skin back so it doesn't heal up over the freshly cut part. I know, TMI... and since I dont have one personally, I was so nervous in tending to it!
You will be fine.
I would like to wait at least a year before trying again. So they will be almost 2 yrs apart. People want to have them like 11 months apart or something thinking they grow up together differently, but my brothers and sister and I are like 3 years apart and it doesnt stop us from being close.
I hope you enjoy your anniversary and if your boy does decide to show himself, I hope it goes well too!!

Much baby dust to you and I hope you deliver soon....that is if you want to. I delivered at week 39 and was SO ready. I thought I w as going to go into week 58 all alone! lol I am in month two now getting ready to go to month three in 12 days nad I am loving motherhood!

Aww... 2 days overdue! I lost my plug probably a few wks before I delivered... Hopefully you will go into labor before Friday. I know how uncomfortable you are feeling. The weird thing is, it feels so weird to not have a baby in your stomach after all this time of having him there.
Jerrod is doing good. His little wee wee healed up nicely (it looked really bad from his circumsision... painful infact).. and he lost the last of his cord this morning. I am so excited to see him progress and grow.
Well I am counting on you to make this little one come out already! Are you guys going to have more kids and if so when? We discuss that often.
