Have you introduced solids yet? When Cole has bouts of waking up in the middle of the night, I find increasing his food during the day does the trick. Hope ANYTHING helps!

You poor thing! I'm just so glad Tiger doesn't have teeth yet, but I wanted to nip this in the bud before he gets them. I think Tiger might be doing the same thing as your baby. He seems to really chomp down when he's not as interested in eating anymore. I'm cutting him back to 5 feedings starting today because I've been forcing a 6th feeding every day and I think he doesn't really need it. So maybe now that I'm cutting back he'll get more serious about when it's time to eat. Lately he's been trying to talk with my boob in his mouth. It's really hilarious. He'll blow raspberries too. I've taken that as a sign that he's not that hungry if he's willing to talk, play and bite! So maybe this will work. Thanks for your advice-that really helps!! Your little boy is absolutely precious by the way.

I feel so bad for your friend's family. That makes me so sad. My mom and dad have a pool and it's a worry. How in the world did he unlock the door? Did they have any kind of safety gate? He was safely asleep with his mom and then that happened. That is so so sad. My parents really need get on that because they will be taking care of the baby when I go back to work.

I am so sorry for your friend's family. I knew a lady once and her granddaughter drown in the pool...she was only 2. It was horrible. I don't know if you believe in God, but He is the only way to make it through these things...I think of it like He is holding that little one in His arms right now...its just the ones who are left on earth that suffer so. I hope and pray I never have to go through something like that. My 5 year old was in a bad accident about a year ago and it's the closest I've ever come to a tragedy.....way too close for comfort. I am so glad God spared her life. Much love and prayers..

Oh, Gosh, I just read your post about your friends little boy. I am so sorry. I will absolutly keep them in my prayers. Know that everything happens for a reason although we don't always see it at the time. I can not imagine the pain of losing a child that is close to you but I did lose my father suddenly when I was 9 and do know that time will heal your pain.

I was stressed about the food thing, especially since we'll be spending Christmas with the in-laws. My husband has promised me that he'll be the one to say no to them, and that helps a lot. I have no trouble telling my parents to back off, but I get all shy around his mom and dad. t probably won't be as bad as I imagine, but I just don't want to spend the holidays worrying about sugar.
