oh my gosh yes I am in shock that tomorrow is the big day!!! It feels surreal, I don't know if it has fully hit me. Today I am trying to rest and I will be shaving my legs and fun stuff like that. But my mind is racing for sure. So how are you?

No, I really can't believe I'll be the mother of two in two days. It doesn't seem real to me. And now at this point I'm pretty much hypervenilating every time I think about it. I'm spending the night at my parents house tonight b/c my amnio is at 6:30am & I didn't want to have to wake up my son & bring him over there that early. So, I guess i've already had my last goodnight's sleep b/c I obviously won't be getting any the nght before. How are you feeling about it? Does it seem real to you that you'll be someone's mommy this weekend? If I don't talk to you before then I wish you all the best for a healthy delivery for you and your little boy. I probably will be back on though!

Yeah, I'm the same way. I'm trying not to think about it b/c I'm too nervous. You'd think I'd feel calmer with it being my second baby, but I actually didn't worry about it much the first time. I attribute that to having an exact date this time. Also the first time my c-section was an emergency so no time to worry, this time I know I'm headed straight to surgery. When did they have you stop taking your blood thinners? I'm only taking baby asprin, but they told me to stop today. I don't think my dr. would have remembered if I hadn't asked. Or maybe I'm only stopping b/c they know I'm having surgery.

It's hard to listen to all the negativity. I know that labour will be hard and maybe it will be more than I can handle, but can't I at least hope for a natural, drug-free birth? It's not like I think anyone else is wrong, but I just hate that they assume that since they had an epidural, all people must do the same thing. It's like they're thinking, 'Oh my god, she's so naive, she has no idea how much it hurts...' Well, obviously, I don't know how much it hurts because I've never had a baby before. But that doesn't mean I am naive to plan and hope for things to go a certain way.
Anyway, thanks for your support. Now I know I'm not the only one feeling picked on.

Hey there! Yep I am still pregnant, the bed rest must have worked so well now the baby thinks he never has to come out! I have been off bedrest since MOnday and I have been sooooo physically active, and still no baby. It's ok I only have 5 days untill I am induced. I am nervous though!!! So how are you?

Oh I do remember now that you told me you picked Bryght for your little boy! It's really an adorable name-I prefer names to be a little different. Yeah, a Saturday does seem weird to me, however when I was talking to my dr. about dates one of the ones she mentioned was a weekend too. I guess for an OB they're pretty much on call all the time anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference. And please don't feel offended that I forgot what you were naming your baby, my mind is seriously not working right lately. Last night I was making dinner, my little boy kept crying that he was hungry & I kept saying it wont be much longer, the timer goes off and i open the oven-NO FOOD. That's right, for a hour I cooked dinner with nothing in the oven!

Hi! Well even though you're only one cm, you know that can change in a matter of hours! Either way, you'll be having your baby in another week and a half anyway right? Yes, as for me it looks like I may be back to having the baby next Friday. My OB says that she got 2 different opinions from 2 different high risk drs. & that if it were her she'd do the amnio on thurs & deliver fri. The amnio seems like it's more for insurance reasons to me. The thing is if I don't do it, my dr. will be away until the 20th, and although its only 6 days later I worry that if I decide to wait and something happens to the baby in that time I'll never forgive myself. I still don't really know what I want to do but I have the appt scheduled and the dr. said I could always change my mind.

Im probably taking it really personally that he doesnt want to cut baby's cord if offered cos everything about my baby even the most gross to others is so precious and beautiful but I suppose they struggle with that emotion cos they arent carrying??
