Good luck, I have been there plenty of times too..well not exactly in the same situation but in many similar ones...unfortunately nowadays we cant get away from the exes... and all the things our hubbys did before us...just live one day at a time. Good luck

Exactly my point by he just doesnt understand. I am so happy I am not the only one going through this and thinking about this like all the time.

I would have bawled my eyes out too! Its like you just want this cocoon to be only you, him and your child/ren. My BF has a child of 15 (when he was 21) and he said to me ages ago that he cut her cord and was the first person to hold her. He's now gone mega squeamish on me and if truth be known terrified and is saying he doesn't want to cut the cord its too much!!!!!!!! When I said you did your daughters he's denying he said that to me but Im 99% sure he did! Well I was completely inconsolable! Now all I get is how much he will love this child as much as the other - I know he will but its ME who is feeling crap about this not being OUR first time with all this. So honey - cry like there's no tomorrow. I do it everyday!!!

I have the exact same thing happen to me. My bf has 2 other kids and everytime i think about him doing something with he it makes me wanna cry and then I try talking to him about it and he gets mad at me for bringing it up and wont answer my questions.

Jo-Mama - Tuesday, 4 Mar
Wanna hear some stupid emotional stuff? I had a dream that I was having sex with my husband. I started doing Kegels during sex, thinking that it would feel good. He jumped off me and said I was horrible for trying to hurt him. I woke up and started crying, worrying that my husband would never want to have sex with me again.
I told him about the dream and of course he just laughed.

rockrmom - Tuesday, 4 Mar
poor thing!! I would have cried too!!! We are already fat and miserable and feel so UNATTRACTIVE that we worry that we are not enough for our guys fantasys...then something like that comes up and our emotions are such a wreck anyway!! My crazy hormones, I probably would have just got up and left and never came back! (then regretted it an hour later cuz he did NOTHING wrong.....at least he was HONEST!)

mom-o-7 - Monday, 3 Mar
Oh that's sweet that you are so worried about your step-son...I have 2 step children whom live with us and I just can't seem to get close to them like I should. I know its b/c I have 3 of my own in the house and honestly, it can stressful at times and I just don't feel the same, I try not to show it, but I know they feel it. My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years, don't get me wrong I care alot for my step kids, its just not the same. If it were like your situation I'm sure it would be different, you'll see after your baby is born what I'm talking about! Anyways, I cry sometimes b/c I am worried about my littlest daughter being left out...I have to remember to include her all the time! Thats what I keep telling myself...good luck to you and your new little one!!!

She was 39 weeks.. She had to be induced because she had a seperated pubic bone & was in a lot of pain.

makingroomfor3 - Thursday, 28 Feb
I woke up with the same pressure 'down there' this morning. I sure hope it means that the baby has put herself into position. I have an appt. next Tuesday and will have to ask my doctor.

lisar - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Thanks for your message! I'm glad too. Even though I want him early, I don't want him too early & I really didn't want the amnio. I hope the drs. are right!

ashleyd23 - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Hey there, I thouhgt I'd let you know how my appointment went today. I had another non-stress test and the baby looks good. He was moving around a lot and it was funny the doctor said I have an excitable baby, which I replied 'Yeah he takes after me' and we laughed. I actaully feel more calm after todays appointment. He weighs 6.5 pounds which is good, and everyhitng else is really looking good. I get off bedrest MONDAY!!! I thought I was stuck untill Tuesday, so that was a nice suprise. We did schedule a date for induction if I don't have him on my own, it will be March 13. Hopefully I will go into labor on my own, but I am not going to push it. It is getting close now!!

momof3tobe - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Thats not even tha 1/2 of it!!! His ex is a doctor. So anytime there is anything wrong with any of us he calls her!!! So annoying... Thank god they don't have any kids together!

momto4and1tobe - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Hello again! How are you feeling? I still don't know a for sure induction date, but he had said March 21, so we will see. Part of me wishes it could be a little earlier and part of me wants that day. My husband already planned vacation around that day, so he is pushing for the 21st. I am still going to try my hardest to go into labor on the 20th though, lol!! Let me know if you have any questions or anything!!

lisar - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Hi, no I have't looked anything up on it although I've been busy. I'm sure now that I'm back online I won't be able to steer myself away from medical googling:) My dr. did say she was going to consult with my perinatologist, so I guess I'll see if they talk some sense into her, or if they both agree, I guess I'll go with it.

ashleyd23 - Tuesday, 26 Feb
Oh wow I really love the name you have picked! It sounds very sophisticated. It's funny how girl names are supposed to be all cute, and boy names have to sound grown up in a way!!! That is hilarious about the heartbeat of your baby too! That is definetly a false myth. That is cool we are both having boys, there seems like a lot of boys are due in March. I am very much a girly person, I hope I can be a cool mom to my son. Well first and foremost I want to be a GOOD mom, but I have to get interested in sports I guess! Good thing my hubby is all into cars and sports because I am sooo not. I like to watch football on TV, that is about it. I know it will be different when it is my little son playing T-ball or soccer I will be so into it!

ashleyd23 - Tuesday, 26 Feb
I woke up this morning all excited to have made it another week! I am going to keep doing what I have been doing and hopefully I will make it to the 37 week mark. Yes wehave already picked a name for the baby, Richard James. It is his grandfather's first names put together, and my husband thought of it. I was glad my husband stepped up to the plate and picked a name because I couldn't think of any boy names, only names for girls! Everyone told me it would be a boy, but I didn't beleive them. Even my doctor comments one time on the high heart rate could mean it's a girl, but we know why that was high! Ha ha! What are you having and have you picked a name yet?

ashleyd23 - Tuesday, 26 Feb
Yes the woman on a baby story had a very normal delivery. SO rest easy! Well my contractions were not super painful, that is why I didn't initally think anything of it, they were just coming very frequently. What did feel different was I could feel a shooting pain where my cervix is. So that was my cervix effacing. I stil have contractions with the medication I am on. The are not very strong and not frequent. Well Sunday I was having them every 15 minutes for about 8 hours, but my doctor doesn't want me coming in untill I have them 10 minutes apart. Sometimes the contraction will be pretty intense, lasting 2 minutes! But I have only felt the pain in my cervix are a couple times since being on bed rest. I made it to 36 weeks today, I am very excited for that. I go to the doctor tomorrow hopefully everyhitng will go ok.

lisar - Tuesday, 26 Feb
Hi! Yeah, I'm feeling fine, I didn't realize my BP was high, I was just there for my regular appt. Now that my BP is down I dont know if they still are considering scheduling me in the next couple weeks. As I mentioned though, if they do that they want me to get an amnio to be sure the baby's lungs are developed. When your Dr. was thinking of bring you in at 37 weeks did they mention that? I'm kinda nervous about it.

ashleyd23 - Monday, 25 Feb
Oh sorry to hear you have to give yourself a shot. I was watching 'A Baby Story' and the girl had the same thing you do. I have gestational diabetes that is why I would be getting induced at 38 weeks too IF I don't have the baby on my own before then. I am on bedrest becasue I went into preterm labor. Let me tell you was that nervewracking!!! I was hainvg contractions every 3 minutes, it was crazy. So I went to my doctor and I hd effaced to 70%. She put me on some medicine to slow and ease contractions, which one of the side effects of that medicine is it may speed up your heart - just what I need since I give myself a high enough heart rate to start with!!! But 3 days after I started the medicine I was still contracting and went to the hospital. I had effaced to 80% and my doc put me on bedrest. It's been ok I guess. I was working full time and very much a busy body, always visiting family or friends and running here and there. So now I am at home with my 2 dogs! At least I know I am doing what is best for the baby. Also I stay busy on the computer, and I work on scrapbooks. I still have to stay busy, I cannot sit all day and watch TV, especailly since I physically feel great! I make my husband bring me all the folding to do, so I can at least feel like I am helping with laundry. Sometimes I load the dishwasher after dinner, those little things make me feel like I am getting something done. I don't know if that comes with the nervouse personality. But I am hoping bedrest owrks becasue once I am off bedrest I am also off the medication adn I would rather have this medicine out of my system for labor.

ashleyd23 - Monday, 25 Feb
I am sooo nervous about labor! I can't stop thinking something will be wrong with me, like my heart will beat so fast they have to knock me out or something crazy like that! And I can even tell when I am being irrationally nervous about something, I tell my hubby 'I know this is a crazy thought but what if...' Thankfully I have a very sweet and supportive hubby, he usually calms me down, and we can laugh about it. But honestly, I don't know if anything will calm me down when I am in labor. Right now I am on bedrest for 8 more days, at that point I will be 37 weeks. If I have him naturally then my doctor said he should be just fine it won't be too early. But I will be induced in my 38th week if he hasn't arrived on his own. So you are being induced too? I hope I have him naturally only becasue I know once I pick a date for induction I will obsess over that date. There will be no way in hell I get any sleep the night before. Ahh! If you don't mind asking, why are you being induced early? And is hypno-thereapy working for you?

ashleyd23 - Monday, 25 Feb
Yes - my heart rate is always in the 100's. I can only imagine it will sky rocket during labor. But my doctor knows me pretty well by now and she knwos I am very nervous by nature so I knwo she will take gret care of me. Thanks for the comment on the picture, I was looking a little tired but as you can see there were baby presents everywhere! But mostly everythihg has been put up now. Are you nervous about labor and delivery?

ashleygray - Monday, 25 Feb
I didnt bleed much with my daughter and i was on the with her as well. i did hemorage at about 4wks afterward, but i think that was because some of the placenta was left behind.

ashleyd23 - Monday, 25 Feb
I was reading the comments for this week and for week 36 and it seems there were a few of us who had it rough for a day, and then it all went away! I guess that is why so many people go into the hospital as 'false labor' becasue that was pretty horrible. But i was like you, I wanted to stick it out and if today I was still feeling bad I would have called my doctor. But it went away. Good luck with everyhting adn one day soon we will have our baby's birth stories to write about!!!

Jo-Mama - Monday, 25 Feb
I get really tired a lot too. When I do get the odd bursts of energy, I feel like I have to do everything in the whole world right then or else the exhaustion will return. I can do a lot more in the mornings than I can in the afternoons.
