Pregnancy Updates:
Oct 19 = well 38 days to go - it has been LONG (to me) my mornings are okay but by upper back can't take too much come the afternoon. My little man is breach still and we are doing some "tricks" to try and turn him. I have gained 25lbs. Not bad. I feel like my skin is ready to rip! We are so excited to see him. Nursery is done, just a bit of painting to do - hubby says he will do it - we'll see hahahah.

BORN - Nov 7-2008 - 5:40 am 6lbs 5 oz 19 long - we are doing well :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my nursery. I had the best time creating it! Congratulations on your pregnancy, and all the best to you!

merarth - Monday, 14 July
well, I went for my u/s on July 4th and the dr only got my report on July 9th. If I wouldn't have known I would have been VERY disapointed.

When I was pregnant with my daughter the same place told me the result right away.

In the end, what really matters is a healthy baby. It is a blessing. We didn't care either way, just very curious...

Hi, I had the same thing happen to me. See my profile! I am in Toronto.

Hey there I'm so sorry to hear about your ultra sound! so when exactly are you finding out the sex? is your doctor going to call you with the info?? I hope you are feeling well other then that.. good luck!

Lizakn - Saturday, 12 July
Hey there...I just got finished reading your post about your U/S. I also live in Canada {but in NB} and there are some hospitals around here that won't tell you the sex at all because they have been sued before for making mistakes. But the hospital I go to does tell you & is always correct! {my 20 week is in August}
That is terrible what happened to you...I think that every clinic or hospital should have the 3D/4D U/S so then you can get a clear view of the sex of your child. I too would have been so upset.

I'm so sorry to hear about your horrible ultrasound experience! At 16 weeks I had an ultrasound and the tech told me she wasn't going to tell me what she thought I was having because it was too early-not even a guess. I booked a 3D ultrasound at a private place (Picture an Angel) and paid $100 for them to tell me the sex- it was cool...I even got a CD with a ton of pictures- It's a girl by the way. My 20 week ultrasound was Wednesday, and the tech confirmed (or agreed). See if you can find a local place that does 3D/4D pictures.

I'm mad just reading about your experience today! In this day and age doesn't everyone expect to find out what the gender is at the 20 week scan?!?! It's as though this lab just wants to screw with it's clients. Are there any of those 3D scan offices in your area? I know you'd have to pay but at least you get your answers. Keep us posted.

I'm so glad you posted your message. I live in Brampton Ontario. I have an ultrasound on monday and we're hoping to find out the sexes (i'm having twins) My appointment is in mississauga. My friend had her 20 week U/S done in mississauga too (not the same location) but they told her. I'm sorry you didn't get to find out. I know the wait is horrible, i feel like I can't plan anything!!

SCHNOOKIE - Thursday, 10 July
That's exactly what i thought...if i started gaining weight my doctor would yell at me lol....i'm not going to drink the shakes...thats just gross :o) I'm happy and the baby's very very healthy. That's all that matters.

First-munchkin - Wednesday, 9 July

katieandchris - Monday, 7 July
Very exciting, hopefully this week will fly by for you.
I dreamt i was having a girl and me and Chris chose a girls name and with the sickness i thought a girl, was a lovely surprise when we were told it's a boy, still haven't got a name though.

Well let me know on the 11th how it goes, look forward to hearing from you.

Take Care

Do you know what your expecting yet?
I've been craving sweets and having a little boy. I've had the same problem sleeping and also i am a very light sleeper now any noise wakes me, i alternate from left to right but am more comfortable sleeping on my right side.
Naps are great, i have them all the time now.
Take Care

Just Jodi - Saturday, 5 July
I read your comment in 19 weeks...it's so awesome feeling the baby moving around in there. Makes things seem a little more real lol but my grandma and I still think I just have this huge tapeworm growing in there HAHA. Sleeping wise, I have always been one to sleep on either side, but I find it a lot less comfortable as each week passes...maybe because I know i'm not supposed to sleep on my back or something..Idk. But, I keep getting woken up by my little seamonkey about 5 times every night. Baby just loves to kick me in the sides and so I flip over on to the opposite side and then I get another kick. I average now about 5 hours of sleep a night because of it. Naps are def. a MUST for me!!

ksr1170 - Thursday, 3 July
Hello~I don't feel any kicks either. I was told my placenta is anterior (in front) and it acts like a barrier...taking all the fun away! Perhaps your placenta is also the reason. Do you have a doppler? I rented one and I think it's a life saver. I've also suffered a loss so I'm paranoid 24/7. Good luck dear!

bellababybump - Thursday, 3 July
Hey there how are you feeling? I had my u/s today its a boy!! I was dreaming about a baby boy and I was right!! hope all is well with you

On number 2 - Thursday, 3 July
i saw your message on the wall and figured i would try to help...it would work sometimes for me when i would get worried but not always so if it doesn't please don't be alarmed ok. try to lay flat on your back either in bed or on the couch...bring your knees up to your chest or as close and you can and bend your legs so kinda crunched up with your knees high but legs down hold it there for a few mins kinda squishing but don't worry it a good exercise i have done it for my son as well as the pregnancy i am in now. then release your legs and lay as straight as you can push on your stomach just below your belly button and all around then wait a few mins. you may feel the bumps or some flutter. But you may not either. But i would usually try to do this after i ate a little something i'd say about twenty mins after. But then again keep in mind it may not work cause it din't and still doesn't always work for me...You may be an active person during the day so you may not feel the movement as much...I know how you feel i had a M/C in september with twins so it was hard and now i have placenta previa so i have to really watch what i do it's been tuff so i can see where your coming from please let me know if this works and keep in touch the best of luck to you.
