Some people don't have any pain and get to 4 or 5. I just had it.

You DO NOT wish you had wicked contractions. I promise you that. What would be good is if you had an NST test at your house like the one you used in the hospital to see how frequently you were contracting....that and a 3D ultrasound for entertainment!

Maybe you could write down your contractions for the next hour or so. You definitely seem close enough to warrant it! I'm so excited for you!!

I was having wicked contractions for 12 hours that only progressed me from 1 to 3! It took 12 more hours and some help to get to 10. Everyone progresses differently.

Are you timing those contractions? How far apart are they?

I have guests coming over today that I don't like. Isn't that terrible of me to say? They have an out of control whiny kid and they are condescending. Ugh.

My day was ok. I had a headache most of the day, but other ailments have healed! Yipee. I think I'm just exhausted. Tonight, we're watching the House marathon and I'm making birthday cupcakes for Ruseell. His birthday was in July, but I didn't want to smell cupcakes that I couldn't have! I bought him fancy truffles instead.

How close are you to the hospital? Are you staying with your parents after the baby comes?

I have had friends gain a ton and friends gain a little. Your body just does what it needs to do.

Are you already living at your parent's house? Forgive me if I'm crazy, but I thought I remembered you saying that you were going to live there.

Good morning...nah, I didn't gain much, but I was heavier than usual when I got pregnant. Also my diabetes diet limited all sugar so that helped. Most people take a year to lose the weight...9 months to put on, 9 months to take off!

What are you doing this weekend? I plan on being a milk factory and trying to get out of the house.

Awww, so sorry about the maid!

Rose is doing well. She's making more eye contact, cute little noises, and can lift and turn her head. She's a lot of work, but it's worth it.

I've lost 16 pounds which puts me 7 under pre-pregnancy. I would love to lose 25 more! I am not really exercising, just going on walks. I'm so exhausted.

LOL...good luck with those boobs!!!!!!

I didn't know how I would handle being off work either. I'm such a workaholic maniac usually, but once the exhaustion hit and now that the baby's here, I'm so grateful for the time off. Some major dramas are happening at my school with a new boss and some nonsense. My friends keep calling to tell me about it, but I just don't care. I'm mentally on vacation!

I'm sure that you'll have a period of adjustment, but soon you'll be so busy with Jerrod!

How did everything go with the maid?

I took you to be so tidy! Snce you were so careful about the carseat, I thought you'd be super organized!

Russell's much more of a minimalist than me, but I can whip up a gift for a forgotten birthday in a matter of minutes using the contents of my garage!

When I nested, I organized a lot. I'm so glad I did because now I'm braindead!!!!!

Well I hope if you actually go to the delivery room that Jerrod follows very soon.

Your place is three times the size of mine! How on earth do you keep it clean? I have the tiniest place and try so hard to keep it clean, but I'm messy messy. I have pics of mine on here, but it's clean that day!

Oh, swaddling blankets are my best friends! The best that I have are from Target. They're the Dwell Studio ones that are three for $10. They're extra big and I use them more than anything. Rose really likes to be swaddled, but I also use them to cover her face and body when we go into public and I drape them over her carseat to protect her from the sun. She hates the sun in here eyes. Since they're thin, I never worry about her breathing through them.

I just read your fish story. LOL!!!!! Poor LaWaiian! He'd better watch it with the fish!

Russell and I had three arguments while I was pregnant. One about mayo, one about the in laws, and one about applesauce! Now you've had a fish argument.

I hired a cleaning lady twice this summer. It felt so indulgent but was so necessary. I'll do it again soon.

oh my goodness! You're so on your way! Did you know that I was only 3 cm when I was in full blown labor in the hospital!

Your baby is coming before next Thursday, I think! I'm so excited for you!

My day is sleepy. We had our first pediatrician's appointment and Rose is just perfect. She's a skinny little thing, but she's gained a pound since the hospital (they tend to lose about that much in the first days). She's at just over 7 pounds now, so I know the breastfeeding is working!

Oh, you HAVE to get something at the store to help you with breastfeeding. First, there's this cream called Lanisoh that soothes hurty nipples. Second, buy a breast shield. They're these brilliant silicone shields that you put over your nipple if you have problems like I was getting. It's important to establish a good latch first, but this $5 breast shield is like the best money I've ever spent! Medela makes it and you can get it at Target in the breastfeeding aisle. The creme is there, too.

Phew, I've had quite a day! Some of my stitches had some problems and I was in the early stages of this terrible breast infection called mastitis, so I had to go the doctor and get fixed up this morning. She was AMAZING and helped me with all of my ailments in a matter of minutes. I felt like a hypochondriac going in, but it was really a good decision. I guess I thwarted some pretty major problems. Phew.

Are you feeling better today? At the end of pregnancy, I cried myself to sleep a few times, too! Have you cuddled your pup today? Were you just exhausted at work?

Russell's off for two weeks, so he's home with me for the rest of the week. His mom is coming over on next Wednesday and probably on Thursday, so I only have Monday and Tuesday alone. My mom's flying out from TN next Friday to stay for 2 weeks.

I turned hormonal tonight. LOL. I started crying because my tummy looks like a deflated jelly doughnut, my boobs are huge, and I think I popped a stitch inside which totally scares me. I think I'm going to see the doc tomorrow.

Aww, man, I'm so sorry. Those are the worst! They wear you out! How much longer are you working.

We just took Rose out in her pram and I'm wiped out. I got a hot flash. Phew. Oh yeah, I've gotten so many hot flashes since pregnancy! I didn't know about these.
