Thanks! Maybe your already holding your precious little boy by now :) xx babystreek -

Sunday, 25 May Thanx for the write back... i know how you feel. I have a 20 month old daughter right now. She was due August 23 2006.... her birthday is September 13 2006. I went three full weeks over due and not by choice. I laugh when i read the posts from other women who are thinking about asking their doctor if they can postpon their inductions because they want nature to take it's place. I was begging for an induction at 37 weeks because I was so uncomfortable! My doctor made me go three weeks overdue on bedrest with toxemia and diabetes!
I feel you, but this time I am not as in much of a hurry to get this one out. I'm actually sad to not have my one on one time with Elizabeth anymore. socalgal -
Thursday, 22 May I'm the one who told my doc that this baby is posterior. My first was posterior, so I recognized it myself. She confirmed with an ultrasound. I highly recommend that you read up on it. www.spinningbabies.com has a lot of good info. It makes for a much longer and much more painful labor if the baby does not turn. With my first, labor started with the water breaking which was awful, because then the head engaged and he had to turn while already engaged (ouch!!!!). If your water is not broken, it is much easier for them to turn. So whatever you do, don't let anyone break your water. I'm lucky because I tried to have a home birth so I didn't go to the hospital until 30+ hours after my water broker. If I had started at the hospital, I'm sure they would have forced me to have a c section for failure to progress (another reason not to let them break your water). My son was born vaginally 46 hours after my water broke----it took giving up on my dream of an all natural birth and accepting pitocin and an epidural to get him to turn. This time, I hope to get the baby to turn naturally, but I've been 3 cms for over a week and my doc won't let me go past 41 weeks without inducing me. Staying upright and active is the best you can do turn baby--and avoiding an epidural until you absolutely cany take it anymore is also advised. Good luck! noodle -
Thursday, 22 May With my first I remember it kind of did the same thing to me the first time but then 3 days later (at 40 weeks, 5 days) it seemed to work (the 2nd time she did it). fristtimemama -

Tuesday, 20 May i did the castor oil 2 times. i had two ounces on a wednesday and the cramps didn't last that long and they where mild but the direah is crazy it makes you pee out of your butt. then i went to my midwife center on friday and they had me take the castor oil (2 ounces) accompanied with breast pumping and walking and a few hours after when i went home the castor oil kicked in and it had brought on labor. this time it was very painful and every time i had to go to the bathroom i felt an intense pressure. good luck babystreek -

Saturday, 17 May Hi, i used castor oil and it didnt do much for me. it does cause cramps and direah but it soon passes. it did cause lots of braxton hicks but they disapeared too. I stopped taking it because i was getting lots of braxton hicks contractions back to back and it scared me lol. I spoke to my midwife and she said it doesnt harm the baby but she didnt think it worked. Its a matter of opinion but if you want to try it there are some women that say they have and it worked for them. I only took 2 tablespoons and that was enough for me!! Oh and the taste really isnt that bad either. Good luck :) mspink10 -

Wednesday, 30 April It sounds like your iron levels are low. You should call your Dr and let them know how you are feeling. They will do a blood test to check your iron. I have a real problem with maintaining my iron levels and quickly become anemic if I don't take my supplements. And your symptoms sound exactly how I feel when my iron is low, especially the difficulty moving your arms. Low iron means that your red blood cells can not carry enough oxygen to your muscles - that is why everything becomes so difficult and shaky. No worries though - it is an easy thing to fix. Until you can get to your Dr be sure to eat things high in iron - red meat, leafy green vegetables, strawberries and the best source is dates! Hope you feel better soon! snowwhite5thbabe -
Tuesday, 29 April It could be low blood sugar...I was also dizzy...The nutritionist told me to eat whole grains and protein to keep my sugar balanced and up where it needs to be. NOTE: Older messages are compressed to speed up the website.
