Hey everybody im a first time mom, and thanks for checking out my page. My husband and I just got married on May 19 of this year and boy did we get a big wedding present. We went to the doc and the day of concievement is supposedly on May 19 our wedding day, so this baby is a wedding baby for sure!!! I have a step-daughter named Abby, who is 9 and will be a great sister!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful!!!

so my cramping was not going away and it has been doing it pretty much non stop for about 4 1/2 days, so i called the doc...of course they had me come in to make sure everything was ok, and of course it was, the baby's hb was 146, and the doc did an us and it was moving like crazy, he could hardly get any pics, so that was relieving!!! We still couldn't see what the sex was bc baby was moving around so much, just hoping for a healthy one...hope everyone is doing great!!!!!

Well today is the big day, i go for my big u/s and im am so excited, tom ill be 23 weeks!!! im not to sure whats happend to my page but all of my updates are gone, so i guess ill start here for........boy or girl........soon to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its been a while since ive wrote in here so i guess its time to update...wow, im 25 weeks and 3 days, and can not believe it, its going by so fast...we found out we were having a girl and so of course that weekend we had to buy some outfits for her..(she's already spoiled and doesnt even know it)...weve started working on her room as you can see in the pics, but still some things to do...her name will be Kinsley Brianna....the doc said everything looked great and ive only gained 10 pds...i dont want to gain to much weight... but i feel like when i go back ill have gained at least 8 pds, i feel huge now, guess well see...hope you are all doing great!!!

The time is flying by for sure!!!! im 31 and 3 days now!!! So its been a while since ive updated so i figured it was about time...Kinsley is moving so much now it feels like she is moving 24 hours a day!!! I found out that i have gestational diabetes so weve been dealing with that....the only good thing to come of it is i get a 3d/4d ultrasound next week, so i cant wait to see her in those pics...weve got her room done now were just starting to wash everything so itll be ready whenever she decieds to show up!!! ive now gained a total of 19 pounds which i think is pretty good!!! I just posted the nursery on in the nursery photo section so check it out if you like!!! I hope you are all doing wonderful!!!

Wow it really is going fast, its been forever since ive updated on this site so i guess its time to do so...well i am 35 weeks and 3 days along now...and boy am i feeling it....so i do have the gestational diabetes and that has been going pretty good so far i can control it with my diet and just checking my sugar four times a day!!!! The 3d/4d ultrasound was awesome, i loved it, and could actually see my little girl...since i do have that and my blood pressure has been creeping up a little i have to go to the doc every mon and thurs until she gets here...that is a little aggravating but ill do what i have to i guess!!! I almost have the nursery complete, just have to put the pack n play together and i think everything will be done...but im sure ill be forgetting something along the way!!! Well i hope you are all doing well and good luck!!!

Thanks for your reply. I haven't gone back to work yet. I was meant to go back after six months maternity leave but my baby, Sarah, was still screaming day and night, and was waking every hour, every night. She wouldn't take a bottle, so I'm still breastfeeding her, and I was just too exhausted to go back to work, with her not sleeping at night and me feeding her constantly, etc. If I had my way, I wouldn't go back to work at all, but financially I need too. I will be going back to work in August when she turns 1. When my maternity leave ran out I took all my annual leave, now that has finished too so I'm using my long service leave. I won't have any leave left, but at least I will have spent the first year of my daughters life with her, and it's given me a bit more time to recover. I am still so exhausted though, because she still cries constantly through the day and it just wears me down. She was recently diagnosed with Oesophagitis/reflux, which she has had since birth, so I guess that's why she cries so much. Are you back at work? Will you be doing your same job when you go back as you were before your baby? I'm not really sure what job options you have over there... Keep in touch...

hi there - before adding cereal, you might try adding 1/2 oz to her bottle and see if that makes any difference. or, you could just feed her on demand if she seems hungry earlier. not sure how you feel about feeding off schedule, but it could be that, b/c she's becoming more active as she gets more mobile, she's burning thru calories more quickly. then if you're still concerned, talk w/ your pediatrician about the cereal.

my guy has always been a frequent feeder; he eats every 2 hours or so, still. i'm thinking of making the case at our 4 mo checkup to try cereal w/ a spoon!

Hey thanks!! wow you two do sound like your busy. I work at wachovia bank and my boyfriend works for glass cuting company so we're not too busy our schedules are pretty set. Aww that would be cool if you can handle other kids. I'm not too great with a bunch of kids. Yea last night we watched some of our very first home videos....it was crazy seeing how much she's changed and how much her personality has come out.

Things are going alright. Its just hard feeling like you are missing out on so much being gone 5 days a week. BUT, those hospital bills wont pay themselves! We have come to cherish our weekends and want to spend every second we can with our little guy. The best part of working is having some interaction with other people. I think my vocabulary would have gone down to "ahhhh" and "mmmm" if the only person I had to talk with was Riley! ha! He seems to be happy with the people watching him as well so that makes it easier. This site also keeps me busy and makes the day go faster. I hope you can sort of enjoy your time at work. :)

omg...I don't even want to think about work. I've been off since 01/17/08 and I go back on May 12....Im dreading it. I also work long hours, I work a 4-10 schedule but atleast I have three full days to spend with her and in your case you have 4 full days to be with her.

I feel for you! Its not easy going back to work. I am away from my little boy for 10 hours and its horrible! I started a week and a half ago and I think it does get easier, but all I do is think about him until I get to go pick him up! 12 hours is def. a long time to be away. How many days a week will you have to do that?

Hi, well Nathan was born at 37 weeks weighing 6lbs 3oz only, and I see your little girl was ov er 7lbs at birth....
my son started eating at 1 1/2-2oz...and now he eats 4oz every 3 1/2 hours...he now weighs 10 1/2 lbs...and he is going to be 8 weeks the 11th. My doctor did tell me he was gaining weight fast, but honestly, I don't listen to that. Why would I deprive a baby that is hungry? He is going to eat whenever he wants and he is going to make it loud and clear. Nothing I can do about it. I don't think a baby can gain too much weight, or gain it too fast, afterall they are growing babies that get growth spurts!

Hey mama!! OMG! What an ADORABLE pic of kinsley! oh my gosh, haha. thats SO cute.

I miss talking on here with ya! It seems like its been SO long. I never seem to have the time to come on. (im sure you dont either). Aside from taking care of Gianna - which by the way, shes doing AMAZING, geting big, and just such a pleasure. - ive been dealing with a lot hurt from losing my mom right before I had gianna (I dont know if I told you about that or not) But My mom died the end of Nov, just about 2 months before I had Gianna. so ive been going through a lot with that lately. Its hard to balance it all ya know? but im def doing a good job, and it makes me a lot better knowing how much Gianna is progressing. I can make her smile and laugh now! its SOO amazing. gosh shes getting so big!

So how are you?! How is it balancing work and kinsley? gosh I feel grateful to be able to stay home with Gianna and now have to work. its the best job in the world.

oh, I decided to bottle feed. shes been doing great on it, I only had to change her formula once. people told me that I might have to change formulas like a million times to find the right one, and luckily I only did once. and shes doing great on it. so you didnt like the breast feeding? its definitly a comittment and a lot harder to do than bottle feeding. how is she with that?

well i hope you too are well!! I need to get some recent pics up. Gianna with the easter bunny was SOO hilarious and cute!!! did u guys get pics of kinsley and the easter bunny??

My son has reflux and there are different things that show the reflux. He rarely spit up but the pedi says it can come back up his throat and not out all the way. This is what was happening wiht my Jaiden. Also when he did spit up it was also chunky. He would also get fussy after eating. He was gaining wait just fine though. He was also making faces as I can tell he was in pain at times. Def doesnt hurt to call ur pedi.

Hey hey! I know you are probably SO busy, just like ive been. I just wanted to see how u guys were doing and let you know that I finally got pics up of my lil angel Gianna! u should come check it out! She is gorgeous.
Kinsley is just too cute!

How have you been healing? Ive been having a difficult time, its getting better though. Well I hope u two are good, have u been sleeping good? Gianna actually slept through the night like 3 times already, from midnight til 7am. (which was AWESOME haha) she is really good though, she doesnt wake up int he middle of the night, only for her feeding @ 3am, and then she sleeps! Its been great, definitly better than the first week or two.

Whenever u get a chance let me know how u are girlie! check out my pics!
