Hey everybody im a first time mom, and thanks for checking out my page. My husband and I just got married on May 19 of this year and boy did we get a big wedding present. We went to the doc and the day of concievement is supposedly on May 19 our wedding day, so this baby is a wedding baby for sure!!! I have a step-daughter named Abby, who is 9 and will be a great sister!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful!!!

so my cramping was not going away and it has been doing it pretty much non stop for about 4 1/2 days, so i called the doc...of course they had me come in to make sure everything was ok, and of course it was, the baby's hb was 146, and the doc did an us and it was moving like crazy, he could hardly get any pics, so that was relieving!!! We still couldn't see what the sex was bc baby was moving around so much, just hoping for a healthy one...hope everyone is doing great!!!!!

Well today is the big day, i go for my big u/s and im am so excited, tom ill be 23 weeks!!! im not to sure whats happend to my page but all of my updates are gone, so i guess ill start here for........boy or girl........soon to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its been a while since ive wrote in here so i guess its time to update...wow, im 25 weeks and 3 days, and can not believe it, its going by so fast...we found out we were having a girl and so of course that weekend we had to buy some outfits for her..(she's already spoiled and doesnt even know it)...weve started working on her room as you can see in the pics, but still some things to do...her name will be Kinsley Brianna....the doc said everything looked great and ive only gained 10 pds...i dont want to gain to much weight... but i feel like when i go back ill have gained at least 8 pds, i feel huge now, guess well see...hope you are all doing great!!!

The time is flying by for sure!!!! im 31 and 3 days now!!! So its been a while since ive updated so i figured it was about time...Kinsley is moving so much now it feels like she is moving 24 hours a day!!! I found out that i have gestational diabetes so weve been dealing with that....the only good thing to come of it is i get a 3d/4d ultrasound next week, so i cant wait to see her in those pics...weve got her room done now were just starting to wash everything so itll be ready whenever she decieds to show up!!! ive now gained a total of 19 pounds which i think is pretty good!!! I just posted the nursery on in the nursery photo section so check it out if you like!!! I hope you are all doing wonderful!!!

Wow it really is going fast, its been forever since ive updated on this site so i guess its time to do so...well i am 35 weeks and 3 days along now...and boy am i feeling it....so i do have the gestational diabetes and that has been going pretty good so far i can control it with my diet and just checking my sugar four times a day!!!! The 3d/4d ultrasound was awesome, i loved it, and could actually see my little girl...since i do have that and my blood pressure has been creeping up a little i have to go to the doc every mon and thurs until she gets here...that is a little aggravating but ill do what i have to i guess!!! I almost have the nursery complete, just have to put the pack n play together and i think everything will be done...but im sure ill be forgetting something along the way!!! Well i hope you are all doing well and good luck!!!

Yes, What day could be better than Valentine's Day to have a baby! What a wonderful gift for both my husband and me, and of course you and your husband. Ryland is doing great! He is a very mellow, calm baby. We hardly ever hear him cry and the only times he fusses is when he is tired or hungry. He is doing really well with his solids and is growing faster then the weeds in my garden! He has mastered holding and drinking out of his sippy cup and gives us a big smile when doing this because he knows what a big boy he is now. He is a good sleeper, naps pretty well during the day and is out all night long 7-8pm until 5-6am. His favorite thing to do right now is go swimming. He loves to be on his belly and kick himself across the pool, of course with me holding him. He has not really started to crawl yet, just inches his body like a worm. He has sat by himself a few times, but still needs a little work before mastering it. He is always smiling and has the cutest laugh ever. It makes my heart so happy when he is happy. Fill me in on how your little one is doing. It is interesting to see how Ryland measures up to other baies his age.

Thanks. I hope youre right. We are hoping to try for another baby again in a few months. So if its a high grade abnormality and not a low grade. That can still be okay. He then said that I may need pap smears every 6 months.....
Scaring me..i was reading about it on the internet and it all sounds way too 'cancerish'

Yeah true...I would love to have a boy this time around. Any ideas?? lol...I mean if it was another girl I would be just as happy...but Id love a boy...I only want 2 kids...My fiance has 2 from a previous relationship...so I only want 2 to complete my family......

Still thinking about it. DH keeps pushing me to apply, every time I talk to him on the phone he asks me if I'm supervisor yet. My biggest hang up is the fact that it will be alot more responsibility. lol! I'm enjoying my simple cushy job I have now! If I want to go anywhere in this work world I guess I have to stup up though. Good luck and I hope you get it! Its always nerve wracking waiting for that phone call!

Thanks. From everything that I have read, it seems to be the way to go. It is just scary at first. Last night at 3, he was sideways (on tummy) in the crib facing the wall, and at 5:30, he was sideways facing the other way! I will let him go tonight and just check up on him to make sure he is okay, but not flip him over to his tummy. Thanks for the words of enouragement, and good luck on the job you just applied for!

Sounds like you are dealing with a difficult person who is going to be around for a long long time. Hopefully your hubby can be the diplomatic one and talk some sense to her! It is really good to have other mums to chat to about stuff like this - it helps let off some steam sometimes!!

I'm sorry about the situation with your husband's ex. It's unfair of her to put her daughter in a situatiuon to chose between her and your husband. She really shouldn't have given her the choice between camping and fireworks bcos now your step daughter feels she has to chose between mum and dad. Totally not fair on her. It's better if the discussions can be had between parents so special arrangements can be made to see dad when it does not mean having to chose one or the other.

oh thanks! i know what you mean about the outfits -- my husband is always like 'jeeze... how many outfits does he go thru in a day?' that photo of your daughter with the bow is quite possibly the cutest thing i've ever seen!

beckett has on and off days w/ the spit up -- some days hardly anything and the next, his whole front is wet. ugh! :) i read somewhere that the spitup gets a bit worse around this time before it gets better. if your gal doesn't seem uncomfortable, she's probably ok imo, but of course you know her best :)

Thanks for your reply. I haven't gone back to work yet. I was meant to go back after six months maternity leave but my baby, Sarah, was still screaming day and night, and was waking every hour, every night. She wouldn't take a bottle, so I'm still breastfeeding her, and I was just too exhausted to go back to work, with her not sleeping at night and me feeding her constantly, etc. If I had my way, I wouldn't go back to work at all, but financially I need too. I will be going back to work in August when she turns 1. When my maternity leave ran out I took all my annual leave, now that has finished too so I'm using my long service leave. I won't have any leave left, but at least I will have spent the first year of my daughters life with her, and it's given me a bit more time to recover. I am still so exhausted though, because she still cries constantly through the day and it just wears me down. She was recently diagnosed with Oesophagitis/reflux, which she has had since birth, so I guess that's why she cries so much. Are you back at work? Will you be doing your same job when you go back as you were before your baby? I'm not really sure what job options you have over there... Keep in touch...
