Hey everybody im a first time mom, and thanks for checking out my page. My husband and I just got married on May 19 of this year and boy did we get a big wedding present. We went to the doc and the day of concievement is supposedly on May 19 our wedding day, so this baby is a wedding baby for sure!!! I have a step-daughter named Abby, who is 9 and will be a great sister!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful!!!

so my cramping was not going away and it has been doing it pretty much non stop for about 4 1/2 days, so i called the doc...of course they had me come in to make sure everything was ok, and of course it was, the baby's hb was 146, and the doc did an us and it was moving like crazy, he could hardly get any pics, so that was relieving!!! We still couldn't see what the sex was bc baby was moving around so much, just hoping for a healthy one...hope everyone is doing great!!!!!

Well today is the big day, i go for my big u/s and im am so excited, tom ill be 23 weeks!!! im not to sure whats happend to my page but all of my updates are gone, so i guess ill start here for........boy or girl........soon to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its been a while since ive wrote in here so i guess its time to update...wow, im 25 weeks and 3 days, and can not believe it, its going by so fast...we found out we were having a girl and so of course that weekend we had to buy some outfits for her..(she's already spoiled and doesnt even know it)...weve started working on her room as you can see in the pics, but still some things to do...her name will be Kinsley Brianna....the doc said everything looked great and ive only gained 10 pds...i dont want to gain to much weight... but i feel like when i go back ill have gained at least 8 pds, i feel huge now, guess well see...hope you are all doing great!!!

The time is flying by for sure!!!! im 31 and 3 days now!!! So its been a while since ive updated so i figured it was about time...Kinsley is moving so much now it feels like she is moving 24 hours a day!!! I found out that i have gestational diabetes so weve been dealing with that....the only good thing to come of it is i get a 3d/4d ultrasound next week, so i cant wait to see her in those pics...weve got her room done now were just starting to wash everything so itll be ready whenever she decieds to show up!!! ive now gained a total of 19 pounds which i think is pretty good!!! I just posted the nursery on in the nursery photo section so check it out if you like!!! I hope you are all doing wonderful!!!

Wow it really is going fast, its been forever since ive updated on this site so i guess its time to do so...well i am 35 weeks and 3 days along now...and boy am i feeling it....so i do have the gestational diabetes and that has been going pretty good so far i can control it with my diet and just checking my sugar four times a day!!!! The 3d/4d ultrasound was awesome, i loved it, and could actually see my little girl...since i do have that and my blood pressure has been creeping up a little i have to go to the doc every mon and thurs until she gets here...that is a little aggravating but ill do what i have to i guess!!! I almost have the nursery complete, just have to put the pack n play together and i think everything will be done...but im sure ill be forgetting something along the way!!! Well i hope you are all doing well and good luck!!!

Hey there, I happened to see on Cortney's page where you were wondering about her pug. I'm a pug expert! We've owned pugs for 14 years. They are generally awesome family dogs. We've never had a black one, always fawn. I see your picture and he looks young. How old is he? He's a doll. We had one that was 14 years old and just recently had to put her to sleep - old age. It was awful and we miss her so much! We fostered pugs through a pug rescue foundation in Dallas when we lived there. We now just have one. A little boy, Max, he's 1 1/2 years old. He's still pretty rambunctious. Pugs generally settle down after they are 2 yrs old. Also they are always lap dogs! Even with a baby around, you'll be holding both the baby and your pug. :) Our 14 year old, Izzy, was about 6 years old when our daughter was born. She never paid much attention to the baby. She was jealous when my hubby held the baby. She'd sit at his feet and stare at him as long as he was holding the baby. My husband was her master. I joke, of course, when I call myself a master, but after fostering 8, and owning 3, we've learned a lot over the years. We're not worried at all about Max bothering our new baby. Although I have a feeling Max will be taking off the baby's toys to play with himself! Max is Kendal's dog and they are very close. He sleeps with her and he loves having someone to play with. Yeah...my Bellie did kinda seem like it's been getting bigger, a lot bigger but it is hard to believe we are almost half way done! I'm so ready to have this baby! I dont have any boy names yet. =( so I'm pretty bummed. But we're working on it. =) Take Care, Keep in Touch!

Yeah! I totally understand! I was so sick after I was about 8 weeks pregnant, and that lasted just up until now. I still get occasional nausea and vommiting but not as dramatic, and severe as it was before. And because of that during the first part of pregnancy I didn't put on any weight. I actually lost a total of 4lbs. I think people were actually starting to wonder if I was pregnant or not because I wasn't showing! But now my belly is growing fast. It's so exciting! Yet makes me so nervous because that only means I'm closer to labor/delivery and this is something I think I may have some serious problems with. Anyway I will get back to you soon enough. Sorry I haven't had the chance to read your page or anything yet, because it's really early in the morning and I'm seeing my Husband off to work. So I will get back to you soon! - Rachel

I went and had my blood drawn today and my results will be in Tuesday. Yikes. I am off to my friends bridal shower/girls night out party. BTW, I love thse spellings. I always have liked the double e's at the end. My friend named her baby, Calee. Another popular ending to girl's names now is leigh. I know people who just named their girls Kyleigh and Carleigh. My appt is in 11 days, maybe I mistyped 2 instead of 12. I WISH it was in 2 days!!! I wonder why they are making you wait so long?? Oh well, think of it this way, the baby will have more time to develop and it will be EVEN easier to see what your bundle of joy is!! My boys are excited, or my oldest anyway, the youngest has no clue he is only 13 1/2 months old. But my oldest wants a girl, or a gurl as he says! He said there are TOOOOO many boys in our house already! I second that! Hope you are feeling well!!!!

Thank You. I called the OB/GYN to see if I could get a standing order for a HCG level and the nurse called me back (not the regular one I know and love) and said, No, that I would have to wait until my 9/27 appt. when I have my work-up done. I decided to ask my Dr that I work for to order it as I knew he would not have a problem doing that for me. Then I got a v-mail from that same nurse 2 minutes till 5:00 that she had talked to the Dr and she said she did want me to get labs drawn tomorrow. She said to call back in the morning. But in order for me to get in I would have to do so first thing @ 8:00 to be able to make the drive into the Medical Center for work. It would not be such a big deal if I did not have to run clinic tomorrow. So, I am just going to be there @ 8:00 to see if I can get it done then. I will let you know how it goes! BTW Love the names! I have never heard of Kinslie...very pretty. Andrew David is a strong name. You did good, girl!

Thanks for the comment. I am good...no symptoms which has me worried..very unlike me!! It is probably better that you wait until 22 weeks then you will know for sure. I went to a specialist because of my ancient age and he was infamous for telling the sex at 12 weeks. He said 'girl' and that was when I found out the baby was not going to make it. I went to a 2nd specialist who did a placenta biopsy. I received the placenta biopsy results about a week after my D&C. It was confirmed boy and when my 2nd specialist called with the results I told them that the other Dr thought girl and the nurse told me that her and the 2nd specialist both saw girl on the US too. Keep in mind that I was just over 12 weeks. If everything was O.K. with the baby I would have gone pink city and would have not found out differently until week 16. By then I would have worn the numbers off my husband's bank card! I have to go to the same specialist @ 12 weeks for another nuchal scan. I will wait for the 16 week visit for the confirmation on the sex before I take his word for gold. You should be good to go at 22 weeks!! I am not looking forward to the scan. US's are supposed to be fun and exciting and to me they are just scary now. It really stinks for me!! Let me know when you find out what you are having. Take Care. xxAmy

Thanks for your message...always good to know that we're not alone in our aches and pains ;) I swear by Magnesium for the cramps. However, there was something else going on too, which I've identified as 'round ligament pain'. For that...REST. Lie down. That pain is much better now....and I also have a big baby bump in return.
