I just went to my 1st OB visit and was able to hear my baby's heart beat for the first time :) All of my blood work came back excellent!!! I do not have major health issues to worry about. The father of my baby is wonderful he has been to every appointment and very involved, he asked questions and makes sure I get everything I need. My whole family is very supportive and proud of me even though my baby will be the 12th grandchild/niece or nephew they are so excited!!!

I am so sleepy, hungry, and ready to pee on myself so often it `s crazy, but worth every fontsecond. My belly is beginning to poke out!!! I can still lay on my baby bump though. I have my 1st U/S in two weeks I cannot wait to see the baby! I want to find out what it is and start to buy stuff...

I was looking on-line for baby names for like an hour last night and my mom and my little sister called me and I told them the names I had found. Well my Fiancé got upset because I didn `t ask him his feelings before other people. I didn `t feel like I did anything wrong b/c I am only 16 weeks and my feelings today about the names may change next week or even tomorrow. But I apologized anyway b/c even though it was not a big deal to me, it was to him. I think he is getting all of my symptoms, not just some of them. He was throwing up when I should have been, he sleeps when I should be asleep, and he is sooo irritable... Don `t you just love your baby `s father... I do...

Lately I `ve been getting asked if I am having a boy or a girl... Well the truth is, I have no idea. :( I will not know until 21 weeks. my clinic does not do ultra sounds until 20 weeks. I do have an appointment tomorrow... maybe I `ll beg for an ultra sound. Cross your fingers!!

I went to my appointment on Friday and was unable to get my ultra sound :( but I did schedule it for March 31st :) My doctor said that since I am having a great pregnancy without any symptoms or health concerns that it would be best to wait until at least 20 weeks to have my ultra sound. I heard the heart beat again too. My niece had her birthday party at a roller skating ring and so many of the other mom `s there were opposed to me skating.... I went anyway and had a blast! My legs are so sore and so is my butt! I haven `t been skating in like 8 years (maybe longer) but I still got it!! lol

I am absolutely sure I felt my little one move for the first time! I thought I felt it before, but was not sure if it was the baby or not... but this time I know it was! I went to get some ice water from the fridge and when I dispensed the ice it felt like the baby got startled! Anyway that was very exciting, but a little weird too. I think I’m going to get ice water from the fridge every night instead of grabbing bottled waters!

Okay it `s been a while since I have written anything on my page, but my time being pregnant is just seeming 2 slow down... I haven `t had many exciting new moments like the baby kicking all day or my pregnant stomach showing. I am going 2 be 21 weeks on Fri and many people do not even notice that I am pregnant!! I am still wearing my pre pregnancy clothes. I go to the doctor on Monday to find out what I am having! That will definately bring me some renewed excitement. I didn `t even realize I was feeling this stressed until I starting typing...WOW!

I still have to put up his border in his room. This pregnancy is going so fast! I enrolled in a birth and parenting preparation class and a breast feeding class. How fun will that be? This is getting all too exciting. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!! Be Blessed! Thursday 3, July Wow I cannot believe that I will b 35 weeks tomorrow! I have been awake since 6:30am for no reason at all. I woke up to pee and couldn't go back to sleep. Now I am about to get ready for my 3rd ultra sound. Hopefully it's all good news. I measured at 31cm at 32 weeks and then again at 34 weeks so the CNP ordered me another ultrasound to check the growth. I am excited to see my baby boy again. I hope he's moving around a lot like usual so I can see exactly what his active self is up to.

So I had an ultra sound on July 3rd and found out that my baby boy weighed 4lbs 11oz! He is measuring 33.4 weeks and I am 35 weeks. I hope he is just a small baby. I don't want my baby to come later than my due date (Aug. 8th). I just found out that my hospital that I am delivering at gives me a $25 off a Modela Breast pump if I buy it from the hospital. I'm glad I didn't buy one yet!

Sunday 20, July

I am 37 weeks 2 days and I don't know exactly how much longer it's going to be until I have my baby, but I know that I am definately making some progress. Yesterday I had a contraction that came and never fully subsided. It was just a constant pain stuck in my side... it didn't get better or worse until this morning. I think that my baby is pushing on some nerves on my left side... OUCH! Anyway today I am just having some menstral like cramps in my lower abdomin. They are not consistant. I have not had any painful contractions today just a few Braxton Hicks contractions.

Friday 8, August

So I went to the Dcotor today and I am only 1.5cm dialated and 50% effaced. We scheduled me to be induced on August 15 at 8:30 am at exactly 41 weeks. The doctor thinks that the pain I was feeling at 37 weeks may have been something going on with my cyst on my ovary. She said if I happen to have a c-section that they would remove the cyst at the same time which would be nice. She also said that my pelvis is small which is the reason she even said anything about a c-section. I don't know how my baby will enter this world, but I am excited to finally meet him!

Hi, thanks for checking on me! I'm doing good. And nope, no signs of labor yet...I'm also ready to have this baby because I'm getting bigger too! My mom-in-law is visiting us from Fort Worth and staying for a week (just past my due date) so I hope she doesn't come for nothing and no baby :(
Went to see Dr today and no progress yet...I hope we have our babies soon cuz I dunno how much more we can take! :P

Hey! I just saw your comment in week 40 about going into labor (I'm from week 37). I thought I was the only person who WASN'T trying to induce labor

. It's good to hear I'm not alone. I have my uncomfortable days but we've waited this long... what are a couple more weeks? Plus, we should be enjoying the quiet nights :)
OK, sorry to ramble... you can tell I've been thinking about this a little ! Hahaha

Hi! Everything's going good over here. I'm getting more and more uncomfortable as I get bigger but I'm learning to cope w/all the changes going on.
Well I wouldn't worry about anything if I were you. At this point it's normal for the baby to have dropped low in preparation for birth. But just in case you do deliver early, your baby should be fully grown by now and ready to face the world! So don't stress and keep praying for your little one :)

I measured the same as you at 34 weeks. My baby had descended a lot so we think that's why I was measuring small. If there is no change at my 36 week apointmenton Monday then we will do an ultra sound just to check things out. I'm not worried.

Hi, I measured 34 weeks at my 36.6 week appt. It just so happened that I had an ultrasound sceduled for the next day. They meausred everything and the baby measured 37 weeks exactly to the day. The Dr. said that my stomach doesn't stick out too much because I am tall.

i just went through that. i measured at 32 wks and i was 34 they sent me for an ultrasound its just to make sure ur baby is growing. i had my ultrasound yesterday and she weighed 5.2 so shes fine!! hope urs is too!! i believe he is though. when i was preggers with my son they told me he was going to be very small and everyone was worried the ultrasound tech said he was small also and when he was born he weighed 8lbs 6.2 ounces!! ultrasounds can make mistakes too!! keep ur head up!!

Just read your question about your measurements. I wouldn't be too worried- the same thing happened to me. My measurements actually went down between week 33 and 35. Then they realized the baby had moved to transverse position (on her side not head down) so it threw of the whole measurement thing. Now at 37 1/2 weeks I'm measuring 42 cm so thats way ahead. I'm sure they just want to do the ultrasound to be sure but I wouldn't lose sleep about it. Something as little as the baby moving can throw off the measurements.

Hey, just read your question in week 34. Generally, you should progress 1 cm each week. So if you're 31 weeks, you're usually 31 cm, then for 32, you should be 32 cm and so on. But if your uterus is still measuring at 31 cm, 3 weeks later...the doctor just wants to make sure the baby is progressing as it should. I wouldn't be too worried about it though. It does suck that the nurse wouldn't really answer the question to ease your mind though. Hang in there. I'm sure it's all fine. It may just mean you won't have a huge baby, which will be an easier labor.

Hi Angie, the ultrasound on Saturday did not go as planned. The little one would not look into the picture. She had her face turned the whole time and we could only really see her ears. We have another appointment today and hopefully we will be able to see her face.
