Hi I am Kayla and I couldnt be happier to be expecting!!!!! It was a bit shocking at first because it wasnt planned but i wouldnt change it for anything in the world! I cant wait to find out the sex which is only one week away!!! Keith (fiancee) and I cant wait to meet our little one! I look forward to meeting all the new mommies to be!

Today im super anxious for some reason! we find out the sex of the baby next week so that i cant sit still!! having alot of pain on the sides of my tummy and all the way down. hopefully nothings wrong.

We had our scan on monday and found out we are having a BOY! Keith was so excited! i never saw his face light up like that! We are naming him Jace! let me know what you guys think! They also changed my due date from 07/20 to 07/26!

Something big happened yesterday! Keith and I were laying in bed and Jace was kicking like a wild man and i but keiths hand on my belly and he actually felt his kicks!!! i have been tryint to have him feel them for a week now and it finally happened! yay!

I take tylenol pm a few nights a week. all it is, is tylenol and bendryl, which are both on the 'safe' meds lists. my dr just told me to not take it EVERY night to avoid any dependency on it.

my doctor did a ultrasound in his office because i dont feel my baby move very often and he said the placenta is between the baby and the stomach and thats why i dont feel her move very often, but she was kicking away. i think everyones different and every baby is different. i still dont feel her move very often, but i go every two weeks now and as long as i hear heartbeat i know shes all good.

Try an ice cold glass of water and i bet your little one will move!!!!! It works everytime for me and they also get you to do it at my hospital if you are worried about not feeling the baby move. Mind you we are all running out of space slowly so bare that in mind xxxx

At this stage our babies have a sleep pattern similar to a newborn...that means they sleep up to 20 hours a day! I could just be that your little one is most active when you're asleep, so you don't detect it. If you get worried though, everyone's advice on changing positions and drinking something sweet and cold works every time. I also follow up with a little 'poking'. I tried a flashlight the other day (shine it against your skin right under your belly button...it's the thinnest part of your belly), It was hilarious! It felt like my little guy was tickling me from the inside...trying to touch the light I suppose. They opened their eyes again just last week, so give it a try!

Hey- two weeks ago I didn't feel my baby kicking for almost a week. I have no idea what it was about... maybe dehydration or stress? But anyways, he's kicking like a champ again... hope that helps :)

You are supposed to feel so many movements within an hour. I think it is 10 but I really am not sure. Anyway, drink something cold, orange juice is best then lay on your left side in a quiet room. The baby should start moving. If he does not move at least 10 times then you should definately call your dr. It may be that you are just too busy to feel the movements. If you are really concerned you should consult your dr.
