13.4 hours ago It took me a few days to get much milk out with the pump. I think the first time I did it I got like 1 1/2 ounces and wondered how in the world I would be able to fill a bottle. But after a few days it starts to come pretty easily. mom2boy -
17.9 hours ago Sorry you are exhausted I am sure we all understand what it is like. I have a baby bjorn but he hates it and he loves his wrap. It is a Sleep Wrap. Save the receipt to the bjorn just in case. mom2boy -
18.3 hours ago Oh I hate it when Jamison acts like that. Lucky for me he has a little bouncer chair thing that he loves to sit in. In fact when he starts acting fussy in my arms I put him in that and he relaxes. It is old and was a hammydown from my boss who used it with three kids. We have all these other high tech swings and glider things and this old little bouncer is what he likes. Do you have a wrap? That would be a good way to hold her hands free. I know it isn't the same as actually getting some time to yourself but it is better than nothing. I have used my wrap with Jamison when he refuses to be put down. sarahnicely -
25.3 hours ago my lttle one was going the same thing while nursing, starting a few weeks ago...she still does it occasionally. So odd, but I guess somewhat normal. DeeRod -
27.1 hours ago My son does the same thing when he gets really hungry! He seems frantic and at night, when my breast are much fuller, he seems to spit up his eintire meal! It seems like so much and when I put him down he seems uncomfortable like he needs to spit up. Someone had mentioned elevating his head some so we put a small towel under his bassinet and it seems to help. Good luck! mom2boy -
28.1 hours ago One time I fed Jamison and then put him down to bed and as he was laying there my husband heard a funny noise and looked and he had literally projectile vomited. He was laying down and none even got on him because it shot past him. He never did it again and he is happy and healthy so sometimes they just do that stuff. Keeps us on our toes I guess. mom2boy -
28.4 hours ago Jamison acts fussy on the breast when he needs to burp. He spits up a lot too. You make it sound like your baby fully vomited but I am guessing it was really just spit up...right? A little bit of spit up looks like quite a bit. Anyway, I have read breastfed babies don't suck air like bottle fed babies and that may be true but I will burp Jamison after just a couple minutes of breastfeeding if it sounds like he gulped air and I always get a burp out of him...always!! He usually swallows more air when he is fussy on the boob like you explained so then when I burp him I usually end up with more spit up because he swallowed so much air. Jamison pretty much spits up after almost every meal just more when he fusses at the boob because of all the air he sucks. crystal.s -

Friday, 16 May hi have the medela double pump. it is awesome! it is also expensive. i would at least get the medela single pump. i think evenflo is one of the worst and they hurt. they also do not properly mimic the babies sucking action. thanks BabyHelton -
Friday, 16 May hi there! I have Medela Pump In Style at it works fabulously, I highly recommend it. I've actually used two different versions of the Pump In Style b/c I am borrowing them from my sister. Anyway, I exclusively pump b/c I had some latching issues, and pumping has become so easy. It's wonderful :) karenc -
Friday, 16 May hi there :) saw your post about breastpumps -- I have the avent isis iq duo and I like it a lot. it's not TOO heavy (and I take it back & forth to work w/ me), I get good, quick results, and there's a lot of flexibility with suction settings. you may want to try renting a couple til you find the one you like best. hope that helps! Thursday, 15 May I don't know when babies roll over, but I think it's not until month 4 or so. My baby is 6 weeks and has gained 3 pounds and is exactly the right size (according to the charts). rikiegale -
Wednesday, 26 Mar Even with an U/S they can only estimate how big your baby will be. They told me with my last that she'd be close to 9lbs and tried to talk me into a c-section. Of course I wanted to try vaginal delivery first and she was only 7lbs 10oz...they were WAY off. So glad I trusted that my body can handle this experience. sarahlynn44 -
Tuesday, 25 Mar most drs can tell by feeling around on your stomach... they are good about telling how babies are in there just by that.. but if they dont know or arent sure they do a ultra sound if they have to.. at least thats what i got from what my dr told me i asked him the same thing lol he just told me they were trained to do it that way babyalo -

Thursday, 20 Mar I've been getting sick as of late, also. MY dr says it's usually the higher instance of reflux that causes it, but it sure does take a lot out of you, doesn't it? biziemom -
